  2. At the moment it is not possible to send messages from the Mews Commander app only receive them. It would be a quick and useful tool for the Mewsers e.g. to communicate from HK to FO.

  6. Implementation of a feature to automatically log-out signed-in employees after a certain amount of time, and additionally, a quick key to log out.
    In some cases, multiple employees work on one computer and forget to log out. A quick key to log out would make it easier.

  7. At the moment in most cases we have to split reservations to perform a room change.
    It would be good to make a room move without any issues. One or two clicks the most would be good.

  8. Some stay products are only used by management or certain reservation agents.
    Now all other agents and staff have to go through a long list of products to find the product that they need for the booking. Therefore it would be much easier if you could offer certain products only to management or certain employees.

  9. It would be very convenient to see in the report information about in what currency and how guests paid for certain products. Let's take breakfast for example:

    • How many breakfasts did the guests pay in cash in euros?
    • How many breakfasts did the guests pay in cash in CZK?
    • How many breakfasts did the guests pay with a credit card in euros?
    • How many breakfasts did the guests pay with a credit card in CZK?

    This will be useful for hotels in countries where multiple currencies are used.

  10. It makes sense to be able to see not only imminent (Pending) or past-date (Missed) tasks but also upcoming (Future) tasks on the main page ("Tasks" doughnut) - without having to go into the report every single time.

    The current state of affairs makes it often necessary to remind staffers of upcoming tasks outside of that section (or outside of MEWS e.g. emails, sticky-notes et al.), which does not make for a stellar user experience.

  11. It would be easy to select multiple reservation when checking-in or changing room number. For instance, if you have multiple rooms in a basic category and you want to give them all an upgrade (however separate reservations), it would be nice to have an easy way to select them all and drag to a different category. Moreover, When checking in rooms who are not merged together, however do arrive together, it would be easy if you could all check them in at once.

  13. Currently you are only able to select one export target for schedules. This means that for each configuration of people you need a new target. It would be useful to have targets setup for each individual person, then when creating a schedule you select multiple targets (people). This would make it easier to change who an export schedule gets sent to as well as making it easier to create schedules.

  15. To be able to click on each columns of the reservation report and to have the possibility to filter all the info by ascending order for example. If they are trying to find which customer paid his reservation the most expensive they would like to click on rate and to filter it.

  19. Hi all,

    the action log sould be more easier to understand.

    The commands / logs that are recorded are not clear enough.
    If a guest checks out at the Mews Kiosk then in the action log it is:

    State changed from Started to processed ....

    That doesnt make any sense and staff do not know what action was beeing done. Better is to state: checked in or checked out...

  20. After restoring a cancelled booking the status is automatically "Confirmed" and there is no possibility to change it.

    It would be very useful to have the possibility to choose the status (Confirmed/Optional/Inquiry) to which the booking should be restored.

    Specially for group tentative/optional bookings which have been cancelled after the option date and need to be restored because the guest is still interested, but the booking is not confirmed yet.
