Sometimes we need to put more than one room at once to Out of Order. Now it's really slow to do it one by one.

Option to sort the timeline
Let the customer choose their preferred sorting, either by space category, or by space number (name). Having the filters for space category and floor actually removes the reason for retaining the unchangeable default ordering by space category, since even when sorted by number you can just filter for category for a suitable view to manage allocation. From my experience, most customers who actually use the timeline prefer the view by number.

HU( House Use) Management
I would like to suggest an improvement to the Mews integration that could make the room management process more efficient.
It would be extremely helpful if Mews could introduce a bulk selection option, allowing us to select multiple rooms and place them on HU (House Use) at the same time, while applying the same HU reason to all selected rooms. This would save considerable time when multiple rooms need to be placed on HU for the same reason.

Space allocation rules for the automatic allocation
We would like to propose a development to the feature of automatic allocation of spaces on the timeline, when the “Reservation assignment strategy” is Preferred space features (and potentially also useful when choosing the random- option.)
In addition to considering preferred space features, it would be useful to have the option to prioritize or deprioritize specific spaces or groups of spaces when assigning reservations automatically.
For example:
• For bookings of 2+ nights, we would like the system to prioritize spaces with uneven room numbers.

Allow selecting multiple spaces when creating an Internal use reservation in the Timeline
I would like to suggest a small but very useful improvement for the Internal use function in the Mews Operations Timeline.
At the moment, when creating an Internal use reservation, we can enter the block name, choose the assigned space, set the start and end time, add notes, and then create the reservation. This works well for one room or space.
However, in daily hotel operations, we often need to block several rooms for the same internal reason — for example maintenance work, staff use, management rooms, renovation tasks, inspections, or operational blocks that affect more than one room at…

Space feature in mouse over for rooms in timeline
In timeline to have space feature in the hovering/mouse over effect at the room number would be time saving.
We have a lot of different rooms and it would so great to just hover over the room number to see space features. Do we have stairs in that specific room, is it a newly renovated room, room in the garden house etc etc.
We have a lot of new staff that do not know the specifics for all the rooms and planning for arrivals this would be awesome.

Room size field in Booking engine
It would be nice to have Room Size information in the Booking engine. Currently we have Maximum persons and Available rooms, so Room Size would be nice to be right next to it.
I understand this can be added in description of the room, however having a simple field with this information would be much more helpful and easier for guests to understand.4 votes -
virtual room
Hello I have a suggestion , in other hotel systems you can check in the guest into a virtual room ...not a real room .. it help when guest for example arriving in the early morning after the arrival date so we keep the booking and move him to a real room when needed .. by that we can sell the room to other guests and keep the arrival booking without going to no show

Need to add Pool Passes as a selectable item under Space Categories.
Need to add Pool Passes as a selectable item under Space Categories. Not being able to ammend this item make the Pool Pass purchase on the booking engine confusing as the other available options like sunbed and private spaces do not clearly define the space. I find that this should not be the challenge it is as there are options for things like ampitheatre and bike in this required field.

It would be nice to be able to put 'out of order' status on multiple rooms at the same time instead of one by one.

Splitting a reservation to allow a room change should NOT create a new reservation. It is not operationally efficient and makes no logical sense. Creating a new reservation leads to several issues:
If the invoice is already closed, it generates a credit note.
If the invoice is still open, it splits it into two invoices.
When analyzing data for important decision-making, it distorts the results because you end up with a new reservation that is not real. It alters metrics such as booking lead time, pickup, and more.
I strongly believe this is an issue that MEWS should address

Temporary OTA Freeze / Reception Control Mode for Room Blocks
We would like some form of temporary OTA isolation / reception‑only mode, where, for example:
Changes made by reception (room moves, removing blocks, emergency allocations), do NOT sync to OTAs until the mode is turned off.
A short, manual pause (e.g. 5–10 minutes) on OTA updates while operational changes are being made
The Problem:
Currently, Mews only allows one type of room block. The 'Out of Order' block.
When running close to full occupancy, there could be some daily operational issues, unexpected maintenance problems, guest conflicts, or urgent relocations.

weekly view on the calendar
It is very hard to read the calendar on the month view, then on the week view it is a bit too zoomed in. It would be perfect to have about 3 weeks fully viewable on the calendar in a new view setting.

Keep room lock when arrival or departure date or time is changed
Description
When adjusting a reservation’s arrival or departure date or time, the existing room lock is currently removed. This creates a risk that the lock is forgotten and the room is unintentionally reassigned, which leads to operational issues for the front desk and reservations teams.Feature request

Moving spaces in between services
We are operating a hybrid property (long- and short-stay)
All spaces are offered as long-stay, and some of them also as short-stay.
Every now and then we need to move a space to be offered as short-stay, but the problem is that we cannot remove them from short-stay service once we added them there. This brings a lot of discrepancies in our daily operations and reporting.1 vote -

Capacity per room not per category would be Great since mews still doesnt have Inventory to manage extra beds. Some of the Room in the category have Place for bed some Not, so please , Capacity per room

House Block
We have built Mews (why I chose it) to not only book rooms, but also all our activities as bookable services (trail rides, roping, archery, etc). We need to create house blocks daily for activities to block times.
House Block only works right now by adding in one House Block at a time.
Improvement: 1) select house block, 2) select start/end date 3) select all "spaces" to block. Now I could block my entire property for a ranch buyout or corporate retreat needs.

Time -Line DATE is in a confusing alignment
View of the time line to be improved. The date row shows the date in the left of the cell which and it is above the previous night reservation column. This confuses the the viewer. the date should be either in the middle of the cell or to right of the cell.

All Out of Service to be used for future dates
When you select out of service it will then give you the option to add a date and time for the future, so its set up similar to Out of Order.
It allows us to block rooms in the future without impacting the inventory. This is particularly helpful for group managements.

Improve future date selection when blocking spaces
When you click on the beginning date for blocked space - the calendar should automatically go to that date - instead you have to click on the calendar again to find the month/date example: the calendar automatically defaults to today's date - you have to tab thru the calendar for the date you want - then it should automatically show future dates for the end date, but it reverts back to today's date for the too. Would be nice if blocking house space worked the same way as booking a reservation - you would click on the date & space…
