Export Mews Event to Mews
A major problem is that exporting data from Mews Event is only possible on the first day of the conference. It is not possible to adjust the number of participants in Mews itself after that point.
Example:
• The export is generated for 10 participants.
• In reality, only 9 people attend the conference.
• Mews Event still charges for 10 conference packages.To correct this, one person would have to be booked retroactively with a negative count, and the cancellation would have to be recorded separately. Since the cancellation is free of charge, this procedure makes the invoice appear…

Comments in the Quote should move over to the function sheet.
We are duplicating work by having to renter information that has already been entered into the quote. for example, we enter wine choices in the comments in the quote. It makes sense that these choices should carry through. The system is meant to reduce human error and entering it twice its a problem.

Options for more conference rooms setups
There are many names for room setups that are not configured in Mews Events, but which are often requested by the customer.
A few set-ups that are missing;
Carré set-up (closed U-shape)
Theatre setup
Circle setupIt is important that all existing setups should be able to be filled in in Mews Events.

calender timeline
When I open the timeline, default is on today. I would prefer default this week.

Move finished events from approved list to a completed list
If the approved list never clears, it's going to become very difficult to find your events? This seems incredibly obvious, so would love to know if I have missed something?

Can I get a hard copy (ex PDF) of the quote. Not every company can open a link in an email.

undo mews export
it would be great if we can undo a mews export to PMS due to (in many cases minor) changes of events.
Now we need to make changes after export to PMs which makes the invoice a nightmare.

Task Tracking
We need to have the ability to set tasks and create tasks for events.
Confirm dietaries
Chase for menu choices...etc
There are so many times we need to remind our guests to do something.... and generally chase. It would be useful to have this ability in this space. Something similar to tasks in the PMS.8 votes -
Service export to PMS
Restricting the export of services from mews events to mews operations to 7 days prior to arrival is hurting our ability to accurately track billing and our month to month revenue. It would make more sense from our point of view if services could be exported as soon as we, the property, approve the quote. Please also fix the fact that event space services do not currently export to mews operations billing.

Prices on timeline
I come from Cloudbeds and I would appreciate if the timeline can also display the prices.
The process of generating quotes over the phone has become tedious, as I have to switch windows—moving from the timeline to the revenue section, then to pricing; within the pricing section, I have to switch to the weekly view to see rates for all rooms, but that view doesn't allow you to select a specific date, so you have to click repeatedly to reach a date further in the future.

Block booking date range
When creating a block in the timeline via the "book a space" button. The date options should be selectable as a range, not just a single date. It is extremely time consuming to have to create a new block for each day of a multi day block.

Add programm to quote
It would be great if we can add a programm to the quote. For example a meeting event.
08:30u Arrival at ...
10:00u Coffee/Tea and something sweet
12:00u Lunch at....
13:00u Your meeting continues...
etc.That way guest will know the structure of their event. And this data can be used in the function sheets

Personalizing emails
We are running into the issue that there are no email templates available for personalization, and the current emails are extremely impersonal. When guests receive a quotation of a significant amount, we would like to add a personal email to it. We regularly hear feedback that the communication feels very impersonal at the moment.
Ideally, we would like to have templates for various standard emails, but also the option to customize, for example, the first email sent with the quotation, so that we can add personal touches to make the guest feel more welcome.

Integrate Mews Events into the PMS
For a multi-day meeting package in MEWS Events, a seamless integration with the PMS is essential, so that the correct rates are booked automatically.
When you sell a meeting with rooms in a quote, you can manually enter a price when adding those rooms. However, this rate should ideally match a rate that actually exists in the PMS, and be linked to the correct product rules. If this isn't the case, other integrations (such as Zenchef) fall out of sync: the breakfast and dinner lists will then be incorrect, since these are based on the product rules from the PMS.

Add a feature, an icon or a visual cue when we have availabilities blocks
We would like to add a feature, an icon or a visual cue when we have availabilities blocks. It isnt currently showed on the calendar and can make it difficult while making reservations. The absence of a tell can give the impression that rooms are still availables while they are blocked

Event space service date range
When adding an event space as a service inside of a quote, the selectable dates for that service should allow for a date range, not just a single date. Multiday events can become extremely tedious to navigate for staff and clients if we have to add a new service for each day an event space is to be hired. We can then adjust the price manually to reflect how many days the space is being used for. The date range selected should also dictate how many days on the timeline the space is booked.
