  1. Double room supplement
    It is recommended that the double room supplement is shown separately from the single price on the invoice. This is particularly advantageous for business travellers who are travelling with a companion and require a separate invoice.

  2. Our operations and guest experience would be so much smoother if tasks were automatically assigned to a specified department when a product is added! Product options currently only automatically assign tasks if a product is added during online check-in. This should be an option when a product is added during any step of the guest journey - either by the guest or by the reservations specialist.

  3. When a booking is made after 4pm for the same day, a payment link is automatically sent to the booker to request payment in full for this confirmed reservation. This link is valid for 15 minutes. If the booker does not complete payment, the reservation should be automatically cancelled.

  4. We really appreciate if there will be possibility to specify age categories to two decimal places (e.g. babies 0-2.99, childrens 3-11.99). These logic is used by lots of OTA´s and we would like to set up our WBE by the same principal to be able to offer the same prices to our guest.

  5. I would like a confirmation for packages without mentioning all products from the reservation. These products are set as “Bill as package” anyway and are not shown separately on the guest's bill either. Just mentioning the rate name and total amount on the confirmation would be sufficient. Perhaps with the extension of the textual content of the package.

  6. Fast forward to overbooked reservation in timeline

    it would be a nice feature, if we had the function to klick on the red bar (when overbooked in a category) in the timeline to fast forward directly to the (next) overbooked reservation.

    Currently we have to do it like that:
    To quickly find an overbooked category, follow these steps:
    1. Go to the Reservation report from the dashboard or Main Menu > Reservations > Reservation Report.
    2. Use the following filters: Mode: Detailed, Filter: Arrival, Start: Today’s Date, End: As far into the future as you wish to go, Status: Confirmed,…

  7. We're new to MEWS and whilst the functionality is brilliant (thank you), our front of house team really struggle with the visual appearance of the timeline. Spending lots of screen time on a screen with poor visual appearance and contrasts is not healthy and inefficient as it is difficult to see the timeline at a glance - please could you look at improving visual contrasts both colours and lines between dates/spaces for improved accessibility.

  9. Hello,

    We would like to be able to add a ''buffer period'' or preparation time between rentals, especially for hourly rentals.

    For example, if a guests rents a bike from 9 to 10am, and my buffer is 1 hour, then it will only be available to rent again from 11 am.

    This will prevent guest overlap if they are a few minutes early or late.

  10. Make company owned reservations possible.
    It will allow to manage corporate clients more effectively by associating company profiles with reservations.
    Provide a comprehensive view of all bookings associated with a corporate account. As well highly useful for hotels that offer coworking spaces, where companies own a office space.

  11. Multiple occupancy for a duration of stay.
    Expample: a Guest is staying for 5 nights. The first 3 nights is single occupancy and the last 2 nights are double occupancy. This should then have multiple rates *depending on the Hotel

  13. Can you make new "last minute" arrivals for today more visible on the arrivals list?

    • Arrivals made between yesterday 00:00 and today are not easy to see unless you check the reservation report, which is not user friendly in a fast pace environment.
    • Can they be marked in the system with a symbol or color or notification (or in any other way) for us to be notified on the day?

  14. When you dowload an excel rooming list from a group reservation, all reservations are shown in a random order on the excel sheet, and this is not possible to change! Preferably I would like to at least have the reservations sorted by arrival date, but that is not the case right now. It would be good if the default sorting was the arrival date. Or it would be even better if you could change the sorting yourself however you like, but right now since the excel sheet is locked it is not possible. Please look into this.

  15. Es wäre hilfreich wenn Sich die Personenanzahl Tagesweise individuell anpassen lassen würde. Somit ist gegeben, dass die Personenanzahl im Haus immer Stimmt und Produkte sich automatisch anpassen. Gerade bei Kurabgabe und Frühstück ist dies entscheiden.

  16. It would be very practical to be able to make a reservation without having to specify the occupants. For example, for company seminars where some rooms remain unoccupied despite the hotel being privatised, we are obliged to add at least one adult to the booking, even if the room is empty. This complicates management and does not reflect reality.

  18. We are looking to develop booking engines that integrate directly with Mews, allowing us to verify restaurant availability before accepting bookings. This system will enable guests to submit booking inquiries, such as a room night with dinner on a specific date, leaving details, but, without immediate payment.

    Once these inquiries are received, we can confirm restaurant availability and finalize the booking or suggest alternative dates. This improves efficiency by reducing the need for manual input from emails and enhances guest data management.

    Our current setup with Formitable/Zenchef does not sync with Mews, which complicates the booking process. This new engine…

  19. Praktisch wäre es, wenn man in der Zeitachse eine Buchung auswählt, dass man per Doppelklick die Buchung direkt öffnet. So wähle ich die Buchung aus und gehe dann rechts unten auf "Bearbeiten". Sollte man nicht bearbeiten wollen sondern nur die Anzeige oder "Drucken" oder "Einchecken", kann man dies ja immer noch per einfachem Klick und dann rechts die gewünschte Aktion auswählen. Erspart ein wenig Zeit.

    We would like to suggest an enhancement to Mews functionality: the ability to configure multiple sets of Terms & Conditions (T&Cs) and assign them to individual products or services. Currently, a single general set of T&Cs is applied across all bookings, which often falls short in catering to the diverse requirements of specific offerings.
