  1. Would be very useful to have a report in Mews that lists our hotel's most loyal guests, who have stayed/spent the most. This would make it easier to identify the guests e.g. for recognition purposes.

  2. Guest in House report: Sorting out the order by Room Number. now it is possible only by using spaces which doesn't put the list in practical order. Would be nice to get the report out ordering by room number so its easier for the breakfast staff to read the report

  3. The export of the cashier report is only available as a pdf-file. Therefore we are not able to send an excel file to our bookkeeping department or to our trustee in order to be able to check incorrect cash balances

  5. At the moment, when filtering the payment requests in the payment report, they are displayed but when you click on export to Excel, there is no data about payment request. Which makes it impossible to track. Since the payment request is one of the filter provided, it should be available in the payment report excel document

  6. Currently the 'Optional Reservations' and 'Optional Blocks' are available in the dashboard view of the Availability & Occupancy Report. However, this data is not included in the export. Please make this data available in the export as well so we can work with it.

  7. Current Behavior:

    • Registration cards can be printed, but the print order does not reflect the sequence configured in Mews.
    • Each guest and companion currently receives separate registration cards, even when they share the same room.

    Problem:

    • The print logic ignores the user-defined order, likely due to a static sort or default template behavior.
    • Printing separate cards for guests and companions increases paper usage and operational overhead.

    Proposed Solution:

    1. Ordering Logic: Update the print functionality to dynamically apply the configured order from registration card settings when generating print jobs.

  8. We need a way to notate guest allergies in their profiles and pull reports. At minimum, we need a way to be able to pull a PRINTABLE report that includes reservation notes, where we are currently noting allergies for our kitchen and housekeeping staff. This is vital to operations for our property and for our kitchen specifically. Our chef currently has no way to efficiently and effectively pull guest food allergies directly from Mews when he is writing the breakfast menu. We are forced to use a separate system which, naturally, causes food allergies to occasionally fall through the cracks…

  9. When you change the date filter and open a reservation, the preselected date resets back to the current date instead of the date you selected which creates an extra step for properties.

  10. To have a column for email and telephone number for guests in the reservation report.

    This would make it a quicker process to search up existing members instead of having to open one and one reservation/guest profile to find this information.

    This would save the reception a lot of clicking, searching as well as saving time.

  11. Mews braucht dringend eine Schnittstelle für die Meldung der monatlich erforderlichen Beherbergungsstatistik. JEDES Hotel in Deutschland muss diese Meldung monatlich einreichen. Warum gibt es in Mews weder eine Schnittstelle für e-Statistik.core noch einen passenden Report, der auf dem Portal importiert werden kann.
    Aktuell muss ich die Daten manuell in einem Formular auf IDEV eingeben. Bitte handelt schnell um diese unnötige Arbeit zu automatisieren bzw. zu vereinfachen.

  12. When attempting to export more than 4MB of data, the Reservation Report often fails and times out, particularly for larger enterprise properties.

    It is important to take into account that properties with larger inventories are likely to have more reservation data overall; therefore, they should not have to constantly rely on exporting smaller batches and having to piece them together.

  13. Add dietary wishes in guest in house report. In this way accommodations who don't work with Mews POS can also make a kitchen report easily. Right now we have to do a lot of manual work.

  15. It would be great if we could receive a no-show report, either as an xml attachment in an email, or a pdf report through email.

    Currently the only way to check no-shows is on the day itself and there's no way to really gather statistics from this unless you keep track yourself.

  16. The home page dashboard should auto-refresh whenever the user clicks the Mews logo or the action flow sends the user to the dashboard. The timeline auto-refreshes which is helpful knowing the content is accurate and can be seen changing in real-time such as when a reservation is moved from one space to another. The primary source of all summary information and donuts such as the home page dashboard should do the same.

  17. Hello everyone,

    I work a lot with accounting reports to provide data to external Excel files that create very clean dashboards. I have set up an automatic sending from Mews to my mailbox, but the Excel files are too large.

    Do you have any suggestions or possibilities to increase the maximum file size that can be sent to our mailbox? Receiving them by email saves me a lot of time since I manage six properties in Mews.

  18. It would be helpful to select multiple room categories within the availability & occupancy report.
    At the moment it is only possible to select all or one room category. If you like to check on the availability of only a few space categories you have to search the whole list.

  20. We have just moved across to MEWS so far there is a lot to like, but there are a few issues that are making it a real pain at time...

    1) Ability to sort the timeline in numerical order, I appreciate all the other filter options but sometimes just viewing spaces in numerical order is greatly appreciated

    2) ability to use our own in house colours for reservations this allows a quick glance at the timeline to gain a lot of information without having to search for it
