  1. When a booking is made after 4pm for the same day, a payment link is automatically sent to the booker to request payment in full for this confirmed reservation. This link is valid for 15 minutes. If the booker does not complete payment, the reservation should be automatically cancelled.

  2. It would be great if the notification to refresh the browser due to new updates could be moved/removed without refreshing the browser as it tends to hide part of the timeline, so users are often having to refresh the timeline and get back to the position they were working on every time there is a minor update

It is unlikely that we will remove the refresh function as it is required in order for us to migrate you to a newer version of Mews which often includes the latest security updates. We can however, look into ensuring that the update does not break your workflow on the timeline.

  4. Ability to blacklist a company under the options on the company profile, you now can only choose invoiceable box.

  5. Add possibility to create restriction on number of guests .
    We have golf package for 2 persons. when only 1 golfer, price should be adjusted depending on season and type of room.

    I cannot use the empty bed option as adjustment is changing depending on seasons and room categories.

  6. There is already a suggestion for having a inventory for stay products. Now that the products can be booked by the customer during the booking flow and online check-in, it would be interesting to have more configuration options for upsell products. Right now, it is very limited. Certain products need to be prepared or ordered on request. There should be a deadline of choice. For example: booking a bouquet of flowers can only be added 48 hours before arrival. Otherwise we can't order the flowers anymore.   7. Once you have created a rate, you should be able to amend it and link it to a base rate. If you have already mapped it on your channel manager, you do not wish to delete it and restart, you just want to now link it to a base rate or change the base rate link

  8. Address in the Reservation Report should be broken down and not in one cell. It leads to the impossibility to use those data.

    My use case is as follows:

    I would like to be able to select all guests coming from specific cities/countries to be more efficient and quick when communicating (specially relevant in terms of COVID when you have a lot of cancellations coming from certain countries/cities)

  9. Filter by Segment for Reservations Overview Report:

    This will allow us to easily exclude "long stays" from arrivals, departures, stayovers...

    It will make housekeeping job easier, and will help to get a more accurate weekly forecast

  10. Sometimes it may happen that multiple tasks are created e.g. when a group booking has been created but the credit card payment has failed. It takes quite some time to close each task individually. It would be beneficial to select multiple tasks and close them all together.

  11. It should be possible to book TIP or expenses.
    Currently, Mews does not recognise this booking type, which means that we have to calculate everything manually and book via detours. This harbours great potential for error.

    Expense postings must be deducted directly from the cash register contents.
    Expenses should therefore not appear in the sales figures.

  12. Hi all,

    the action log sould be more easier to understand.

    The commands / logs that are recorded are not clear enough.
    If a guest checks out at the Mews Kiosk then in the action log it is:

    State changed from Started to processed ....

    That doesnt make any sense and staff do not know what action was beeing done. Better is to state: checked in or checked out...

  14. The old occupancy report is still available but not the previous availability report.

    We used this report daily to modify the distribution between room types (mainly for internet channels to increase available single rooms and decrease double). It was easy to read, to modify and with a clear view on several future days.

    The new report doesn’t give a direct view on number of rooms available for each room category. The table is also less convenient when it comes to change these rooms allocations (several sub-menus whereas the access was easier before).

    Thank you for sharing your feedback with us regarding the new availability and occupancy report.

    We currently provide the option to swap back to the old Availability and Occupancy report, by selecting the button on the top right hand side of the new report labelled "Old Occupancy report. Selecting this button will switch you back to the old Occupancy report as requested. Once you are able to view the old Occupancy report, select the Availability under “Mode” filter.

    We have updated your request title to solve for comparing availability by room type over a long period. This request has been updated as one to be upvoted by the Mews Community.

  15. When a payment request is expired or paid - it is not assigned to any departments.
    Can we create a setting that this task automatically is assigned to Front Office?

  17. Create limited stock for the different product solded.
    For example, if we sold parking spot, and we have a limited number of them.

  18. When we want to give items complimentary to our guests it is a lot of work for FO to do this. You need to add and delete the item, but this shows very strange on the bill.

    For example we offer turndown service with cognac and cheese. In order to have a complete picture for costs we need to add this on the bill and delete it again. It is a bit strange if you see 1 cognac in plus and 1 cognac in minus, the same for the cheeses. We also provide complimentary minibar so now we need to…

  19. Currently the tasks doughnut on the dashboard displays pending & missed tasks of all assignee's & departments which can make it very confusing.

    Changing the doughnut to only show missed & pending tasks assigned to your or your department will make this doughnut more relevant. The tasks report should then also pre-load with the filters assigned to me or my department. I can then remove/change these filters if I want to see all or other departments/employees.
