  1. I find the color choices really strange. For example, when I see grey I think the reservation is from the past, when I see blue I don't feel like I need to do anything. It is not really logical if you don't know what it means.
    My color proposal would be the following:
    -Gray --> Past reservations
    -Black--> Out of Order
    -Blue--> To be checked in (Reservations of the day)
    -Green --> Already checked in
    -Orange--> To be checked out.
    -Red--> The check out need to be done, the room was supposed to be checked out before.

  4. There is no space to register the date of an card payment by terminal or an external payment, like a wire transfer. This is needed to keep the accounting reports correct, when a wire transfer is registed not on the same day.

"If customers request a specific space feature, such as a balcony or a garden view, this must be processed after received so that an employee can manually assign such a space for that individual. Rather than manual assignment, however, properties may want to automate these feature requests. A new feature would enable the system to automatically allocate space assignment based on customer requests."

  6. Make company owned reservations possible.
    It will allow to manage corporate clients more effectively by associating company profiles with reservations.
    Provide a comprehensive view of all bookings associated with a corporate account. As well highly useful for hotels that offer coworking spaces, where companies own a office space.

  7. It should be possible to remove a guest from a group.
    Cancelation and rebooking is not a logical process. The canceled booking stays forever in the group, doesn´t it?

    Shouldn´t be to hard to develop. ;-)

  9. Persons arriving later to a unit than the already checked in people - cannot be added for only a part of the whole stay. Same with persons departing earlier than the other people of the same unit.
    Within in an apartement 2 people stay 2 nights 2 people stay 4 nights.

  10. it would be good if you could update a task and re-instate it once closed. sometimes tasks have been closed but become relevant again at a later date and this would prevent having to create a new one, plus with updating the task description you have a better overview and history of what has happened with that particular booking in one click.

  11. Create limited stock for the different product solded.
    For example, if we sold parking spot, and we have a limited number of them.
    it will be perfect if we can't sell more space than we have, without hve checking every day.

  12. Sometimes it may happen that multiple tasks are created e.g. when a group booking has been created but the credit card payment has failed. It takes quite some time to close each task individually. It would be beneficial to select multiple tasks and close them all together.

  13. When we want to give items complimentary to our guests it is a lot of work for FO to do this. You need to add and delete the item, but this shows very strange on the bill.

    For example we offer turndown service with cognac and cheese. In order to have a complete picture for costs we need to add this on the bill and delete it again. It is a bit strange if you see 1 cognac in plus and 1 cognac in minus, the same for the cheeses. We also provide complimentary minibar so now we need to…

  14. Currently the tasks doughnut on the dashboard displays pending & missed tasks of all assignee's & departments which can make it very confusing.

    Changing the doughnut to only show missed & pending tasks assigned to your or your department will make this doughnut more relevant. The tasks report should then also pre-load with the filters assigned to me or my department. I can then remove/change these filters if I want to see all or other departments/employees.

  15. Dear Mews Development Team,

    Our Housekeeping team had a request/idea for the mobile application.

    At the moment they have to refresh the application and look frequently whether a room has left.

    Would it be possible to integrate a notification or pop up in the application that notifies them when the reception does a check out?

  16. Dear Madam, dear Sir,
    We are currentely unable to have a clear daily housekeeping report.
    We need the following informations to be displayed in addition to the current informations.
    State of the rooms : Free and clean / Departure / Stayover.
    Today, we are unable to have these informations in our report, we have to check everyy room one by one to define the correct state, which can take us lot of time and effort.

  17. When a guest check-in the status of the room pass from inspected to dirty.
    I think it will be better to put the room inspected to occupied or occupied dirty.

  18. We currently can only filter for used vouchers and are not able to filter for used voucher codes.
    This forces us to create multiple vouchers in case we want to analyse certain cooperations.
    If would be much more useful, if we could also filter the reservations report by "voucher codes" --> this would enable us to use e.g. one PROMO Code marketing voucher and give if various voucher codes.
