Plus and Minus complimentary items
When we want to give items complimentary to our guests it is a lot of work for FO to do this. You need to add and delete the item, but this shows very strange on the bill.
For example we offer turndown service with cognac and cheese. In order to have a complete picture for costs we need to add this on the bill and delete it again. It is a bit strange if you see 1 cognac in plus and 1 cognac in minus, the same for the cheeses. We also provide complimentary minibar so now we need to plus and minus each item the used from the minibar. It is a lot of work.
It would be cool if you could create a complimentary product from 2 or 3 products combined and to make it as a package.
So for us it would be a product Turndown service which involves 1 cognac and 1 cheese platter.
If Mews can add a promotion button with 100% discount with one click this would be much easier. When you add the product you can enter 100% discount as promotion. If we could create a report from this you can see at the end of the year what we gave complimentary.

Dans la continuité de la demande d'Hendrick, pouvoir facturer des produits "offert" à 0€ permettrait un gain de temps pour les équipes qui verrait directement les "offerts" sur les factures des clients.
Commercialement parlant cela aurait également un grand impact. -

The guest should also see this on their invoice because then they know the service was really complementary. When would we be able to use this functionality ?

You should be able to place a bill item with 0 euro. The guest should also see this on their invoice because then they know the service was really complementary.

Would be good to be able to post 0 price items on the billing screen (for complimentary products like breakfast)
