booking engine rate group

If there are multiple public rates within the same rate group, MEWS will only display the cheapest option in the booking engine.

This causes issues for us for example when publishing our Christmas packages. They would both fall under the same rate group (PKG - Package incl. breakfast in this example), but since one package includes dinner and the other one a *****, only the cheaper ***** package will be shown to our guests.

Now we worked our way around it by creating an additional rate group for the dinner package, however this is causing us to create unnessecary rate groups. We would like to have the option to display all public rates in our booking engine, or otherwise to be able to select a max. number of rates to be shown by ourselves in the booking engines setting.

    Absolutely critical for the vacation hotel industry with different rates that belong to a rate group (e.g. wellness, activities...). For this reason we do not use the Mews booking engine.

    This is critical. Because of this issue we do not use the Mews booking engine in one of our hotels.

    Quite important to be able to display multiple public rates that belong to the same Rate Group without having to create duplicate Rate Groups for the correct strikethrough pricing to show and also for all offers applicable to be displayed on the booking engine.

    Also confusing and not transparent for guests who look at the strikthrough price .

    True, I created 4 identical rate groups just to load our Christmas packages.

    Yes, this would be helpfull, especially with festive/ seasonal packages.
