Allow Minimum Rate Setting on Rate Management
As revenue managers, we sometimes need to change many dates in one go. Unfortunately, mistakes can be made that can lead to reservations with the wrong rate (a really low one).
It surprised me to realise that MEWS did not have a way to set a minimum rate to be sent to the booking channels as SiteMinder does. We should be able to set the rate we do not want to sell cheaper than that year round. For instance, if we never sell our master rate for less than 59 Euro, it would be great that Mews would not allow…46 votes -
Bed Configuration Status
Currently we have several rooms with King beds that can be split into a Twin configuration. When the Housekeeping team "Clean" the room , it would be great to have an additional status option which they can choose to identify the current bed configuration - i.e. has the room been cleaned and reset to a "King" configuration or a "Twin" configuration. This would help greatly for Reservations staff when allocating rooms, as well as give clear guidance to Front Desk staff for walk-ins.

Link tasks to arrival / departure date
Task linked to arrival / departure date - ensure you are able to link a task to a specific event in the reservation like the departure date; meaning that if the departure date changes, so thus the task. Ideally, you should also be able to set a plus or minus days for this link (i.e. check one day prior to departure if guest has returned the DVD player)

Simple automatic yield management functionalities for rates
It would be great to have some simple functionalities to help the rates yield management such as soon for example, as the occupancy of a certain category is above 60% increase rates by 10 EUR or 10% .

Copy Rates: I would like to copy the whole rate (including pricing) most times I need to change just small things. And the best overall would be if I could copy this into other hotels I have in my profil. That would be awesome!

Accounting ledger checked-in guests to appear under 'in house' not under 'to be resolved'
Currently guests checked-in with 0 balance show on the accounting ledger under 'to be resolved', this is creating so much extra work to check each individual reservation when no infact no action is required.
These reservations should fall under 'in house' section in the accounting ledger while they are checked-in and 'to be resolved' after the check-out date.43 votesHello from the Mews product team! Guest in house report: Groups or guests who belong together
Guest in house report: put the groups of guests together (per group) that belong together. with a blank line or separated from individual guests. The F&B knows they need tables for 4 of 10 people for dinner or breakfast!

Multiple independent restrictions
Would be nice to be able to create rate restrictions on a specific space category (ex : minimum stay of 2 nights on the space category **) but that the general minimum stays restrictions of 4 nights on all properties still apply. It will help to do some revenue management A/B test without breaking the general restrictions or creating dozens of restrictions.
Could be maybe managed :
- by being able to select spaces categories by ticking some boxes (such as the 'Days' criteria works in restrictions, where you are able to select/deselect days in restrictions).

Move multiple reservations on Timeline
As group reservations often appear together on the Timeline, there is not currently an efficient solution to relocate all of them once. An additional Timeline feature could enable moving all group reservations to another block simultaneously.

Make past and future online checked-in reservations visible
At the moment, online checked-in reservations are only visible on the day of arrival. In statistics you can find the amount of online check-ins in the past and future however, it is not possible to click through and see the specific guest/reservation the online check-in belongs to. Past of future reservations only show a grey 'manage' button.

assign task to multiple people or departments
sometimes you need to alert more than one department and/or people of the same task.

Daily Outstanding Balance Report
At the moment there is no way to check Outstanding Balances in a report format for a particular day.
Having a daily or 'period wise' Outstanding Balance Report will help front desk receptionist and supervisors to monitor payments for check in/ check out guests with ease and not miss out a guest who has not paid.
A status with a green 'tick' can also be placed on the reservation on the timeline to visually help front desk agents to point out which reservation has a pending balance if any.

Include invoice into payment e-mail
When a payment is successful, than the guest receives an e-mail to inform him. Many of them than request the invoice for that amount. Please also send the concerning invoice with the e-mail together.

Allow to set "hours" in the minimum advance restrictions
At the moment, the system only allows to create minimum advance by days. Sometimes we want to have a release of 6 or 12 hours not the entire day but the system doesn't give that option.

It would be very handy to be able to assign a certain product to a room category.
