  1. When moving a reservation from one category to another, one must first unlock to change the room category. Then the system assigns the room to a room in that category automatically, then we need to unlock the system again to move the guest to the room which we have already decided to move them to.

    Can th the lock function not lock in when changing room categories as the process is not complete until we move them to the correct room. Or just make it that when you change room category that Mews does not assign any room to the…

  2. When you move a reserveration from one room to another, both rooms become dirty. Is it possible to add an option in stay for the new room (which is inspected)
    to stay inspected.

    That the room that the guest has moved to stays inspected. The prior rooms can stay dirty just the new room keeps it status. As after midnight inspected rooms become clean then dirty after housekeeping intervall. This way we can keep track of linen change and don't have to manually change it after every move.

    Just have as an option if other hotels don't use the system…

  3. When adding a service product to a booking, if you enter 10 or under as the amount, it will split it in to 10 separate lines which can be moved to different bills if necessary. If you post over 10, it will combine in to 1 lump sum which is less clear and gives VAT rounding differences. Can the limit of 10 be increased to 31 so a whole month of a charge could be created and split in to different lines?

  4. If you have been off for a few days, when you log in you receive all past messages which is annoying. Would it be possible to only receive message sent/received for the day you log in versus past history of messages?

  5. Do we have the ability to Batch Post Charges on a billing screen to multiple accounts at the same time with different amounts? This would be a one time manual posting and not reoccurring.
    Example:
    A tour group charges a fee per bag of $5.00. Staff count the number of bags delivered per guest. List provided to front desk. Each one could be different or the same amount per room. Not included in the room charge as the tour operator pays or in some cases the guest pays but not normally. There are 50 people on the tour. Currently each…

  6. Would like to have the ability to view/export/print a day by day market segment report for a specific date span. This could be for past dates or future dates. This would include only totals, no details or drill down required, of room nights, ADR by market segment. Would also be good to show Period to Date, Year to Date, Period to Date Last Year and YTD Last Year with Summary Totals at the bottom of the report. This would make it easier for property management and revenue management teams to see how they are performing as compared to Last Year.…

  12. Les propositions que nous envoyons à nos clients pour les demandes de groupes manquent cruellement de clairté et de précisions.
    Il faudrait travailler sur le sujet.
    Que le client ait un récapitulatif par exemple :
    Par date de séjour du nombre de logements proposé, à quel prix par nuit x le nb de nuits le total TTC et HT
    idem pour les produits annexes.
    date d'option, montant de l'acompte demandé, ou détail des conditions de réservation.

  13. Wij hebben een "receptierekening" aangemaakt waarop wij lopende dingen boeken zoals fietsverhuur, cadeaubonnen verkoop, receptie shop artikelen. Er staan inmiddels heel veel regels op deze rekening. Wij scrollen ons rot. :-) Is het mogelijk om er een kalender aan te hangen. De lopende dingen van die dag zie je in beeld en mocht je iets van een andere dag willen zien dan klik je op het kalendertje om die dag in te kunnen zien.
    Ik hoop dat dit duidelijk genoeg is. Ik heb met Stepan gesproken, hij weet volgens mij wat ik bedoel.

  14. Automatic linking of meals based on full board:
    first meal is breakfast on the 2nd day of the stay, last meal is dinner on the day of departure. This doesn't make sense.
    option 1: we choose a standard of first / last meals (for full board stays)
    option 2: set by default by Mews that the first meal is dinner on the first day, and the last meal is lunch on the day of departure (for full board stays).

  15. It would be interesting to add the possibility of defining a default time for products. Currently when a product is added, the time is 00:00. A breakfast is taken by default at 7am for example.

  16. Possibility to export or backup Mews configurations.
    We need a way to get mews configurations saved externally, so we can have a way to verify what was the config in case a user change something and we need to revert (or know how it was before). Thanks

  17. Being able to have multiple UserTypes and UserGroups would allow us to add common doors on rooms that require it. Right now only one of each is allowed per key cutter resulting in guests needing assistance to check in vs kiosk

  18. All the Main Menu sections, all links within MEWS - please make them openable with the middle mouse click (new tab in the browser) - it's tedious to have to manually open a new instance of MEWS in another tab to be able to quickly view two sections side-by-side. Why are not all links and sections like this?
