  12. To save users from an additional click, Mews could enable autofocus on the Dashboard search bar. This would automatically focus that input to that search, meaning that while users are on the Dashboard page, users could start typing and search would begin automatically.

    Hello Mewsers!

    While autofocus poses some issues with accessibility and is not currently being considered, I am happy to share that we are currently beta-testing an improved global search that includes a keyboard shortcut to access it, and we are open to accepting more properties! 


    At the moment the shortcut only works on Windows, but we will soon have it on Mac too which should help solving this need of a quick access to the search bar.

  13. A bunch of our repeat guests either have no email address or make the reservations in person and want a physical copy of the confirmation letter. Kind of odd that this simple feature doesn't exist.

  14. During the rate setting we use round figures ( 99€ for one night) but when we use a discount of 10% for example, the rate for the room will show up on the website like this : 89.1€. This is not efficient.
    Is this possible to choose how we want to display the rate, in fact we would like to use round figures on the website, the idea is the round it.

    Thanks for the submission. We have a direct integration with booking.com, and are considering some of the other major channels as well. However this is very time consuming in both development as well as maintenance. It is currently unlikely we'll be able to fully cover channel management like the channel managers today can. 

  16. Often when guest book in advance we have to search all over the calendar which room are overbooked. When this happen, instead of spending time searching between 2 years, Mews could simply show which dates are overbooked so we could access it straight away

  19. I have 2 requests that both pertain to the rooming list functionality.

    1) I would like to be able to edit rooming lists once they are downloaded. Right now, they download as locked excel spreadsheets. That means it is impossible to add notes, or simply delete columns that are not relevant. I would like to share rooming lists with clients, but that is not possible without being able to edit them.

    2) If reservations within a group have two companions noted in the reservation, the rooming list duplicates each reservation, making the groups appear double in size. This is confusing,…

  20. Receive a notification (email) when a guest orders a product or service as an upsell at the kiosk check-in process. Currently this is only possible for all products and services ordered through both commander and channel. We would like to see the option to enable notifications only for kiosk transactions. In this way the reception knows which actions to take next.
