    1 What is an OGM
    OGM is a structured reference used with wire transfers and supported by all banks in Belgium in the form of: +++090/9337/55493+++
    This reference is used by the hotels to process the bank payments automatically

    2 Structure
    If you strip the + and / from the example +++090/9337/55493+++ you get 090933755493

    The first 10 digits are typically the invoice number 0909337554. This could be a combination of invoice number and financial journal, or any other combination, but the invoice number is commonly used and should work for most of the customers.

  4. The idea has been already verified in other areas, such as airlines or cruises. All rates would be non-refunduble by default. On top of each rate, the guest could purchase an additional product (something like an “insurance”) that would make the rate refundable; however, the “insurance” itself would not be refundable.

    There could be more levels of “insurance” - e.g. “cancel up to 1 week prior to the arrival” and “cancel anytime”. The second option in this case should be obviously more pricey.

    Generally speaking, the price of the “insurance” should always cover the costs of maintaining the empty room…

  5. Problem
    It is currently not possible to add tasks to group or block reservations. In addition, tasks in general are not searchable, which makes it very difficult to track what has been done or what is still pending — especially for group bookings.

    Operational impact
    For group bookings, we need to manage important milestones such as:

    Name list deadlines

    Booking cut-off dates

    Client follow-ups

    Today, these tasks cannot be linked to the block itself, and since tasks are not searchable, it is almost impossible to get an overview of tasks related to a specific group or block. This leads to…

Mobile amenities that are not part of the standard room equipment (e.g., extra beds, baby cots, diaper bins, children's stools, coffee/tea service, bathrobes) should be able to be managed centrally in Mews. Currently, mobile, limited-availability amenities cannot be centrally represented in Mews. Hotels are forced to work with external lists or manual coordination to track availability and usage. This leads to a lack of transparency regarding availability, double bookings, increased coordination efforts between reception and housekeeping, and potential guest dissatisfaction.   7. The Excel rooming list can now only be uploaded once and not more. When trying another upload, it is not possible. We often have group rooming lists who change a lot and it would be easy if we can "upload" new rooming lists and override the old ones by just one click (also owner/guest function) and all other information like phone number, e-mail address, country, etc.

  8. Description
    When adjusting a reservation’s arrival or departure date or time, the existing room lock is currently removed. This creates a risk that the lock is forgotten and the room is unintentionally reassigned, which leads to operational issues for the front desk and reservations teams.

    Feature request
    Please ensure that when arrival or departure dates or times are changed, the existing room lock on the space is retained automatically. This would remove the need for staff to manually remember to reapply the lock and reduce errors in daily operations.

  9. Being able to bulk update reservations in the future when a price of a product changed. When a price of a product change we have to cancel the product reservation by reservation and add it again. It's not convenient at all. It would be nice to be able to update lot's of reservations at the same time.

  10. When nested spaces and standalone spaces share the same physical inventory and is part of the same space category, their availability is linked. The system
    should recognize that their availability is not linked when it comes to optimization of space assignment as reservation on the nested space does not automatically means it can be moved to the standalone space.

  11. Allow controlled edits/voids of incorrect posting during a reasonable period (configurable).

    Prevent misuse: of course, lock items after the window or after key lifecycle events (e.g., allocation to stay charges or end-of-day posting).

    Ensure reporting accuracy: automatically update tax journals, VAT reports, and revenue/prepayment ledgers when correction is made.

    Reduce Manual burden: fewer compensating entries, cleaner financials between source and external systems

  15. I would like to request a small development regarding the deposit payments in customer's bill.
     
    Could you please add two new fields on the deposit payment rows:
    - The payment date of the deposit
    - The consumption date of the deposit
     
    These additions would greatly help us in tracking the right deposit when we have done some corrections for the deposit.

  16. We found that some cancellation policy methods feel unclear to guests who book last-minute, and after reviewing the logic behind them, I can confirm that the behavior is due to a current system limitation. But it still needs to be fixed.
    One of the reservations was created on 11/5/2025 at 2:30:56 PM, and the system shows the following rules:
    • Confirmation: IDR 0.00, 50% (Standard Rate)
    • 60 days before check-in: IDR 0.00, 100% (Standard Rate)
    However, the confirmation email displays something completely different:
    • Cancellation after 11/5/2025 2:30:56 PM: fee of 50%
    • Cancellation after 9/18/2025 2:00:00 PM: fee…

    I would like to share a suggestion regarding the Timeline view, which has a huge yet unexpressed potential.

    While visually clean, it does not leverage one of the most powerful tools for operational efficiency: colour-coding.

    Color can instantly convey information that, otherwise, requires opening each booking or navigating multiple sections. Introducing colour indicators directly on the Timeline could transform it into a true operational dashboard, providing immediate, high-impact insights for the front office and reservations teams.

    Here are some examples of what colour-coding could highlight:
    • Payment Status (e.g., prepaid, pending, partially paid, failed)

  18. Two customer scenarios highlight gaps in the current product setup:

    Per-person products/fees (e.g., spa/massage): For spaces that accommodate multiple guests (e.g., a villa for 12), only some may use a service (e.g., 4 guests want a spa). Currently, there’s no way to select a quantity per product for partial occupancy.

    Pet fees: Customers want to charge per pet (e.g., $30 per dog) and allow multiple pets to be added. Currently, the only workaround is creating separate products for each pet count (e.g., “Pet Fee – 1 dog” $30, “Pet Fee – 2 dogs” $60), which is cumbersome.

  19. Faster way to change rooms status to Inspected

    It would be great to be able to batch-update the status of rooms, this way I can select all rooms that have been cleaned and inspected and update them in just one click. It could be like the checkout feature that allows you to batch check out.

  20. When adding a product to an open bill, even though the product is linked to the reservation, if the reservation is canceleld the productstays charged. Any product that is linked to a reservation, wether it is a bookable product or not should be cancelled automatically when the reservation is cancelled.
