  1. Good afternoon team Mews
    Currently in mews we see that you handle a different exchange rate every day, can you help us to see this exchange rate reflected in the main panel of mews?

    Since currently the team has to be doing the manual calculations to know how much is the dollar exchange rate that is used every day, and this takes us time to be analyzing and taking out the exchange value of the dollar day by day.

    I hope you can support me with this information in the part of the mews panel so that it is visible…

  2. Good afternoon team mews
    In the bill when you click on either go to preview or invoice gives us the option to create the invoice or preview the invoice from there to print it gives us 4 options of how we want to print the bill.
    Is there a way to add a new template where the consumption per cheche are the totals as something informative?

    Currently the mews invoice when creating it gives us the total of all the consumption of all checks and on many occasions the guest asks to know how much was consumed in each check…

  3. Block desk agents from accessing the cashier report in order to allow for blind drops for cash handling. Have system close and reset cashiers when it switches over to the new day.

  4. Allow a manager to set the minutes per room as a goal time for due outs and stay overs. Have this option to print on the housekeeping assignee report to be able to set a goal time and accountability for the staff.

  5. Some properties find it too restrictive not to be able to modify guest count once a rebate has been created and balanced in their PMS. Bills/invoices being legal documents are understandable - however if a rebate is created to correct bill details or items, the guest count should be considered as well.

  7. Add to the current list of Interval option of a Continuous 7 days that begins the report at "Current Day 00:00 to +7 days at 00:00"

    This would allow a daily export of product services sold to show any 7 days out at all times and would also include any late changes that happen for last minute bookings with a cancellation period, add-ons over the phone, and so forth. This is extremely beneficial for a Front Desk Supervisor or Manager to see what is happening that day and prepare for the days to come before a guest arrives without having…

  10. It would be awesome and time saving to have a search bar in the check out report screen - instead of having to ctrl + F to find reservation here as this screen is amazing to use for checkouts and being able to see the bill balance but alas without a search bar its not 100% of the way there.

  11. When we want to post for example minibar to a guest bill on checkout - this is 6+ clicks - it would be awesome to have a drop down menu on the bill page which you select the service to be posted and it automatically creates a bill. This saves in many cases very precious time on checkout both for the staff but more importantly the guests.

    I am aware its less clicks from the checkout doughnut - but here you have to ctrl + f to find the room etc so time wise you do not save any time…

  12. It would be really useful for us to have the ability, in a group reservation, to configure the consumption of products for each day in different ways.
    Example for a 3 night stay:
    - With the first night: consumption of one dinner only
    - With the second night: consumption of breakfast, lunch and supper
    - With the 3rd night: consumption of breakfast, dinner and supper. Plus the consumption of lunch on the morning of departure.
    So, for example, our kitchen team could know the number of products to prepare for each day simply by consulting the Product Report.

  13. We mostly do team retreats in our location and for those groups, the "booking" is more of a "sales process". They reach out, describing roughly what they want, and we create a first offer for them. Then they usually want some changes, some back and forth and they accept.

    I thought I could easily do this, using "inquiry reservation". So, customer calls and I create a reservation for them with the status inquiry and send them out the reservation, so that they can see the price and details. But now I realized, that when the offer spreads over several Services…

  15. We have collaborators who have left the company, and we haven't been able to revoke their permissions. As a policy, we don't delete user accounts but rather remove their permissions. However, we've encountered cases where we can't do this because they have scheduled automatic reports, and as administrators, we can't view or remove them.

  16. I'd like to make a suggestion regarding our hotels. As they are owned by multiple owners, each one is assigned different rooms. Profit sharing is based on the revenue generated by these rooms. Therefore, we need each room to have a separate accounting account

  18. When we change prices and click enter, the next squared selected is the one in the right (same category for the next day). Nevertheless, normally when we change rates, we do so for an entire day. It will be much practical is the next square selected after clicking "Enter" is the one below what we have just changed. This way, we can swap from the first until the last category of a whole day and do it quicker than now.

  19. Make the "send marketing postal mail" option available alongside "send marketing emails" in the mews import file.

    Many hotels – including ours – are treating e-mail opt-in differently from postal opt-in and would like to import their customer information accordingly.

  20. Keep the old system in the app where tags like "departing" is always showing on the rooms. This way you don't have to use the filter.
