Baby bed note in the Mews app
When a baby bed needs to be in the room, you will see it on the app behind the check-in time.
Unfortunately, this is difficult to see.
Can it maybe be made a bit brighter by giving it a different color or something?

Improve future date selection when blocking spaces
When you click on the beginning date for blocked space - the calendar should automatically go to that date - instead you have to click on the calendar again to find the month/date example: the calendar automatically defaults to today's date - you have to tab thru the calendar for the date you want - then it should automatically show future dates for the end date, but it reverts back to today's date for the too. House Blocked Space
We have only 6 units and our cleaning schedule is based on a minimum of two to clean (outsourced) - so we do not have cleaning on a daily basis. To avoid booking rooms that are not yet cleaned (or blocked for holidays when we are closed) we used the house blocked space. Unfortunately, that blocked space will cause the cleaning status to default to dirty automatically - even if you change the status back to clean - it will bump it back to dirty until after the last blocked space date - check out time. Option to create a “Virtual Dummy” Space
At this time, one cannot add a reservation to a space without a Space Category assignment, therefore preventing the space from being used as a virtual dummy.

Bitte so einstellen, dass MEWS die Rechnung nicht "Meier-21-2-418E" benennt, sondern "21.02.2026 - 22.02.2026 (Martin Meier)". Das wäre weitaus verständlicher und würde uns helfen verschiedene Rechnungen besser zu überblicken.

Weekly Reservation Timeline View
When selecting the Days view in the timeline, it only allows reservations to be viewed for almost up to a week. Once that week rolls over, it becomes quite difficult to view multiple reservations in a single continuous view.
Therefore, having a weekly view on the timeline would be amazingly beneficial.
Having the ability to go one or two steps further back would be extremely beneficial for the property, especially since they mostly work with longer-stay guests.

Deposit Ledger: Flexible Accounting Correction
Allow controlled edits/voids of incorrect posting during a reasonable period (configurable).
Prevent misuse: of course, lock items after the window or after key lifecycle events (e.g., allocation to stay charges or end-of-day posting).
Ensure reporting accuracy: automatically update tax journals, VAT reports, and revenue/prepayment ledgers when correction is made.
Reduce Manual burden: fewer compensating entries, cleaner financials between source and external systems

Multi Property: add the possibility to set user rolse and permissions
Today central users are automatically admin. So it is not possible to give the multi-property access to a new user by limiting some areas as it can be done in each property.
Ther request is to extend the roles created for the different properties also for the MMP. It is not optimal to have an high number of users with Admin provileges.8 votes -
Display cancellation tags does not match cancellation policy
Currently, the cancellation tag in the MEWS booking engine is not flexible enough.
The logic is fixed on the system side:
Cancellation on the day of arrival = automatically 2:00 p.m. or defined check-in time.
Cancellation X days before arrival = automatically 12:00 a.m.
Individual cancellation times cannot be displayed. Rates such as “cancellable until 6:00 p.m. on the day of arrival” or “14 days before arrival until 2:00 p.m.” cannot be displayed correctly.
A manual adjustment of the time per rate in the cancellation tag would be necessary in order to display the cancellation conditions correctly and transparently.

Splitting a reservation to allow a room change should NOT create a new reservation. It is not operationally efficient and makes no logical sense. Creating a new reservation leads to several issues:
If the invoice is already closed, it generates a credit note.
If the invoice is still open, it splits it into two invoices.
When analyzing data for important decision-making, it distorts the results because you end up with a new reservation that is not real. It alters metrics such as booking lead time, pickup, and more.
I strongly believe this is an issue that MEWS should address

Recurring availability blocks with exclusion of certain weekdays
We would like to be able to create availability blocks in Mews that generally exclude certain days of the week.
A typical example would be:A room is to be blocked for a company from Monday to Friday throughout the year.
Weekends should be automatically excluded.
The room should be automatically released again one day in advance if it has not been booked.
Currently, it does not seem possible to create availability blocks with a recurring weekday pattern without having to manually create new blocks every week.
It would therefore be very helpful if availability blocks were expanded to include…

Manually pulling reservations via integration
Sometimes you have to manually retrieve reservations via the Booking or Expedia integration. It would be great if you could specify “Retrieve all reservations created between date X and date Y” so that not all bookings are transferred again. We often have cases where changes that have already been made are no longer there when the booking is transferred again. Usually, you know on which day there was a glitch, and you would only have to retrieve the reservations that were created on that day.

Cross-search function for Service products
It would be very helpful if there was a cross-search bar for product within the billing window. There is a cross-search sanction within the additional services, but often not everyone knows which product is in which additional service. Therefore, a general cross-search function would be helpful.

Preferred floor numbers
It would be great if you could specify not only your preferred space features, but also your preferred floor. We generally allocate rooms from top to bottom, but we have a few guests who prefer to stay on the ground floor because they don't use the elevator, so that would be very convenient.

Improving Restriction Creation Flow with calendar view
When using the calendar view and adding a restriction, after saving, you are automatically redirected to the list of restrictions, which means leaving the calendar view. Therefore, after each addition, you need to go back to the calendar and reapply the filters to display the desired dates.
I considered the solution of opening two windows—one to keep the calendar view open and the other to create restrictions. However, this does not solve the problem: when a restriction is created in one window, the other window needs to be refreshed to display it, and this refresh resets the filters and returns…
