  1. We have companies who refer to their reservation by purchase order number.
    It would be great to be able to search by purchase order number and the reservation in question would be brought up.

  2. Currently restrictions only consider the arrival date and not the departure date.

    This means that if I want only allow bookings at my property from today - 365 days from now, setting the below restriction is not enough to close out the property from day 366 onwards. This restriction will allow a reservation to start on day 1 - 364 and end any day afterwards.

    Restriction type: Closed to Stay/Arrival/Departure
    Maximum advance: 365 days

    The best current workaround is to set the below restriction. However, this restricts stays arriving on day 336 - 365, and also for more than 30…

  3. Would be wonderful if you could click on a date in the next month rather than them being blanked out and you having to go up to an arrow in the month calender and clicking a small arrow to move to the next month. Time and wrist saving!

  4. Allow Admin Users to create an internal group to facilitate group messages between staff. Right now they can only select staff one by one.

  5. Being able to offer a voucher / promo code that allows for a price reduction from the booking amount. E.g. using code "Spring100" in the booking engine to receive a 100 € discount on the price. That is sometimes more effective than offering a %-discount.

  6. Warum muss ich bei einer Firmenreservierung sofort einen Gastnamen anlegen? Es wäre einfacher, wenn ich nur den Namen der buchenden Person anlegen könnte und die Gästenamen dann nachtrage. So muss ich die Felder doppelt ausfüllen. Gerade bei Firmen, die mehrere Zimmer gebucht haben, ist das anstrengend.

  7. Es ist unglaublich nervig, dass ich, wenn ich eine neue Reservierung manuell anlege, nicht sofort alle Daten wie z.B. die Adresse des Gastes oder die zugewiesene Firma eingeben kann. Warum kann man das Fenster dafür nicht erweitern?

    It's incredibly annoying that when I create a new reservation manually, I can't immediately enter all the details, such as the guest's address or the assigned company. Why can't the window be expanded for this?

  8. The cleaning status of the parent room should also change automatically if the parent room is booked with two seperate reservations. F.e. If both reservations checked in -> parent room should change to same status of both reservations. The same applies if both rooms have been checked out.
    At the moment housekeeping has to change the status of the parent room manually.

  10. Our establishment has to deal with numerous overbookings and, following discussions with your support team, we were told that Mews does not have any features designed to prevent this situation. Overbookings are a nightmare for responsible hoteliers, who have to find alternative accommodation at their own expense if no solution can be found internally, and they have a negative impact on the satisfaction of the guests affected.   11. Currently when an availability block is created, you can only block a space category overall. What would be beneficial to see an accurate ADR forecast/OTB for the future, is to be able to block rooms based on single or double occupancy.

    For example, we block 8 rooms Standard as Single Occ. and 2 rooms Standard as Double Occ. with 2 different rates, so the ADR is calculated correctly. Currently it is only based on one rate and then adjusts once picked up based on occupancy adjustments, but for forecasting this is no use.

  12. It would be much more efficient if we could add a new payment method directly while creating a reservation—without needing to first create a profile or open a separate tab. Many of us finalize reservations without a payment method initially, so having this option in the same workflow would really streamline the process.

  14. Problem:
    When you update a product price in Mews (like breakfast), it only applies to new bookings. But if a guest changes their reservation (like the dates), Mews may remove the original product and re-add it at the new price not the one that was originally booked. This causes confusion for staff, inconsistent pricing for guests, and potential overcharges. Even with the workaround of creating new product versions and stopping sales of the old one, the issue can still happen, especially when guests change bookings via OTAs like Booking.com.

  15. You should be able to change the customer on a reservation without first having to add them as a companion. The current process creates an unnecessary and inefficient workflow.

    For example, if a booker initially makes a reservation under Joe Smith but later wants to change the guest name to Jane Doe, the hotel reservations agent must:
    1. Change the reservation to two guests
    2. Add Jane Doe as a companion
    3. Assign Jane Doe as the primary guest
    4. Remove Joe Smith from the reservation
    5. Change the reservation back to one adult

    That’s five steps just to change…

  16. Inventory on products should be possible. For instance limit a certain product such as pet to only x number sold pr. day.
    As of now we have to close an entire product for all dates if this is sold out on one date.
    This is causing loss of potential revenue as well as poor service for the guests.

  18. We’d like the flexibility to define different cancellation policies per room category, without creating separate rates.
    Example:
    - Standard Room: free cancellation up to 7 days before arrival
    - Suite with Sea View: free cancellation up to 14 days before arrival

    Both should be part of the same rate, shown consistently across booking channels and internal systems.
    Maybe as a rule?

  19. Is it possible to add a consumption date in the invoice preview for the products and services?
    To see the consumption details we need to "print” the invoice to see the overview.
    It would be more optimal to have it visible on the invoice preview.

  20. In order to issue invoices in the "Overview by date (no reservation details)" invoice format we would need 3 changes to be implemented:

    1.Add notes to the "Overview by date (no reservation details)" invoice format 
     
    Currently the "Overview by date (no reservation details)" invoice format does not show notes for additional products for the services that have the option "has expanded bill items" and for products that have "bill as package" disabled.

    When the system does not allow the correct date to be selected, this "notes" field is often used to specify the date of when the service was…
