Recurring Restrictions
It would be helpful to be able to set up recurring restrictions. For instance, our property is closed 1-30 JUL every year. We also restrict many rates during our Festive Period 15 DEC-15 JAN. Rather than process these each year, it would be much more useful to be able to set it to reoccur every year (similar to a birthday in an Outlook calendar).

Additional Service Products: Relative Calculation
***Bookable Service Products are the only ones with Relative calculation possibility. It would be most useful to add this feature for the Additional Services as well.

Manually select the cancellation fee % to apply
In the event of an early departure on which a reduced penalty has been allowed, it is currently not possible to adjust the lower penalty when the 'Apply Cancellation fee' box is selected, since that field only shows the related penalty charge.
Can we have the option, from Mews Operations, to either apply the standard penalty charge, or, override it with a lower penalty instead? This will enable the automatic posting of the cancellation fee in a format that is compliant with the VAT exemption rule for Italian properties.

Enhance Product City Tax Configuration for Maximum Nights
The current product city tax functionality needs an urgent update to support a maximum night charge (e.g., up to 7 nights). Presently, the system applies the city tax to all reservation nights, requiring manual adjustments for exceeding nights. From a non-technical standpoint, this appears to be a configuration issue that could be easily resolved with a system enhancement. Resolving this is crucial, as manually adjusting the tax for each guest leads to significant problems: Guest Complaints: Incorrect charges directly impact guest satisfaction and generate unnecessary complaints. Cancellation Policy Overwrites improvement / bug fix
Currently if you set a cancellation policy overwrite for a rate group there are several issues:
- The overwrite policy is not reflected within the email templates
- The policy only applies if the arrival date falls within this period. There is no way to define an inclusion rule
Let me explain this with an example. If I set a 14d cxl policy for New Years 31. - 01.01., the confirmation email will still state my standard 3d cxl policy. If a guest stays for two nights 30.12 - 01.01. the policy won't even apply because his arrival date doesn't fall on…

Tasks: 'In progress' status
Currently, tasks in Mews can only be marked with a deadline and then completed. However, it would be very helpful to have an additional status — such as “In Progress” — to indicate when someone has already started working on a task.
This would greatly improve team communication and coordination, especially in situations where multiple users might otherwise pick up the same task or wonder whether it’s already being handled.
Having a clear task lifecycle (e.g. To Do → In Progress → Done) would provide more visibility and reduce confusion.

Add Task Filter: Accomodation Number and task improves
Creating a filter in the Mews app for the tasks; now they are in order of time of reporting, but that’s not efficient.
A good option to help the Operations and Housekeeping teams is have a filter to put the task by roomnumber (accommodationnumber).
Also, here other Task improves that can be helpful:
There is no way to filter by name, by date, by accommodation number whatever).

Profile swap for invoices
For guests needing a company address on their invoice,but are paying for the stay themselves, the current set-up seeks to add the company profile as secondary profile after check-in, then take the payment at check-out, and then swap the two profiles on the invoice so that the company would be primary and the guest´s profile would be secondary/ linked profile. Therefore you need to find the right address again, which usually takes a couple of clicks. signature tracking for T&C and Registration cards
Right now, it is only possible to see who has completed a digital registration card by navigating to a customer's profile. It would be helpful for registration card signatures to be tracked so the property can see who has and has not signed a registration card. Furthermore, some properties may require waivers. Right now the recommended way to include additional agreement terms is to add the text to the T&C document. There should be an option to add customized documents as well as the option to decide which documents should be trackable and uploaded to the customer profile.

Fixed start dates for voucher booking engines
Would it be possible to configure fixed start and end dates for the "voucher" booking engines?
To improve the guest experience when promoting a time-limited rate, it would be ideal to define a default start date for the voucher that aligns with the start of the promotion. If the selected date is before this, the default would adjust to the actual current date.
Likewise, if a user searches for availability beyond the promotion’s end date, rather than showing a generic “No availability” message, it could display “Sorry, this offer has expired” with a redirect link to the main booking engine.

When you have the departure list open and select multiple rooms you sometimes get an error message that one room can not be checked out if it is already checked out or have an open biil. It would be great if the system checked out the remaning rooms that have been selected so you don't have to start over from the beginning if the page is not updated and you have selected multiple rooms for check out

Flexible blocks
Flexible blocks. If I want to extend a reservation that is connected to a block, I have to go back and add rooms to the block before I can extend the reservation. With blocks that have been released I have to add the rooms twice (???), because the block releases them immediately after I save my changes, which is extremely time consuming and frustrating

More granular search when moving bill items to another company profile
When moving items to a new bill, it will be great if we could have more options to filter the bills. For example, now, if we were to choose "Another Company" it will show all bills open on that company profile. But when we have hundreds of bills open (especially when created through billing automations), it is very hard to know which one is which. Ability to filter with the associated profile would be very useful.

ID check & signature directly via Mews Terminal
It would be very helpful if the Mews Terminal could also be used to scan ID cards and collect guest signatures. This functionality is already common in many other markets and would allow small hotels, who cannot afford a full Mews Kiosk setup, to still benefit from a more automated and integrated check-in process.
Ideally, there would be a new button (similar to the current webcam scan option) in the guest profile. When clicked, it would initiate a flow on the Mews Terminal:

Cancel bookable service together with room reservation
Besides the stay service we work with parking and bicycles. For example if the guests books a room including car park, the parking spot will be added as a "parking" service and gets assigned a unique reservation number.
The problem that occurs now is that the room and parking are not linked together; meaning that when the room gets cancelled or amended, the parking spot will stay as it is and will need to be cancelled or amended manually.
We are looking for a way to link the two types of spaces together.

Prevent stayovers when in conflict with house use
House use
We had a "house use" block beginning held after our departure time and before our daily arrival time to perform some essential maintenance. Since then, we have managed to receive a booking the day prior and allows a stayover to the day that we had blocked for 4 hours! We had the house use in place so that we could still receive bookings departing and/or arriving that day but wanted to avoid stayovers. Mews have informed me "the house use is outside of the occupancy times and therefore it is not taken into account."
