  1. When we want to delete a rate, it is not possible if there are restrictions affecting to "All rates". It is not operational to delete all restrictions affecting to "All rates" in order to eliminate an specific rate. Instead of not letting you delete that rate, it should be asked with a "warning" something like "would you like to delete this rate eventhough there is a restriction on it?

  2. It would be much needed to have an option to choose which age category to link to rate groups and products. Now we are forced to sell 0€ products and also package rates for children, even though they are not available for children. Very handy for booking engine and less confusion to end customer.

  3. It would be useful if the "missed check out" status could be represented on the timeline by the reservation changing colour, similar to the "missed departure" status where the reservation changes to orange the day after they were supposed to check out. This could also be shown in the app. Currently the "missed check out" status can only be seen in the Reservations Overview Report.

  4. Often we get attendees that make reservations outside of the group block, usually by human error. It would be ideal if we can edit the rate code or change their rate to a group rate block and then, after changing the code, it automatically changes the room rate to match the group rate, applies the group routing rules, group product rules. I have seen this is all our previous PMS systems, I am confused why its not an option.

  5. The Check-out Report is currently showing the open balance for all the Guest Stays. But the Check-out Report just need to display the current Stay. So if we are linking payment to reservations this can easy fixed.

  6. When you have derived (dependent) rates, it would be good if you can add different adjustments per room type.
    For example to have 10% higher for a Single room, 15% higher for a Twin room, and so on. At the moment it is only possible to make absolute adjustments with same percentage/amount for all the room types.

  7. In the timeline, there is no neat separation between different room types leading to mistakes when moving around reservations. It would be helpful to have a gap in between or a thicker line to make the separation more clear.

  9. I would like to be able to see a forecast of each upcoming payout, both when it is expected and for how much. The lack of transparency to this critical data point negatively affects other financial accountabilities outside of Mews such as payroll, vendor/supplier payments, etc.

  10. In the overview of all the products we have in the additional and bookable services, I really miss a column that shows which products are visible for employees. Or a possibility to filter those products only.
    Now I have to either enter each product to see if the option is selected or open a second screen as an employee to see what is visible.

  13. First of all, the app works great for us. But please make it possible to set a default on own preferences. As an example. We would like to see the tasks always on date type: 'deadline'. But the app shows it standard on 'created'.

  14. In the list of rates, we see
    Name, Base rate, Type (private or public), Short name, External name, Enabled, Default.
    It would be nice to have at least one extra column, to visualise the adjustment (absolute or relative) from the base rate. When there's a lot of rates to setup and check it can be time consuming to do those 3 clicks (rate, pricing, adjustment).

  15. We greatly appreciate Mews Timeline. However, we are repeatedly making mistakes in recognizing what the arrival dates of reservations are. The confusion is that Monday Bookings are aligned under the word “Tuesday”, Tuesday’s under "Wednesday", and Wednesday’s bookings under "Thursday", etc. (it's left aligned)

    A simple fix for this would be to provide an option for us to select “Right Align” for the whole of the “DAY” row. This option would be very much appreciated.

  16. We currently find the process in Mews Operations of assigning cleaners to rooms very clunky... and possibly the worst feature of Mews. Here are some suggestions for improving this process:

    1. Show employee name or incorporate a drop down menu for assignee selection. Currently you have to type in a few letters of the employee's name and then it shows only an email address, so you can't be sure it's the right employee unless you are a genius and know everyone's email address. Surely this is a simple one to solve?

  17. We have a bunch of big groups coming which all have the same task set up, for different departments (e.g. housekeeping and reception). It would be great to be able to make the same task once for the whole group, instead of doing 30-40 tasks individually. The same would go for if we need to make the same task for multiply departments, it would make it easier to just choose the corresponding departments.

  18. when a client pays with a new credit card at the terminal, it should be enough to choose the type of the credit card and not entering the last 4 digits plus the cardholder name. it's too many steps to fill in, all with the client curious, what you're typing in the system as he has already paid.

  19. Moving unpaid items from one bill A to another bill/ customer bill B is often not possible. We have to add a new bill C, and move bill A and B to bill C and end up with lots of empty bills that can not be deleted.

    Empty bills should always be deleted automatically after moving the items.

  20. When multiple reservations are selected within the group, users can easily make changes on the "Properties" tab or lock unlocking reservations and there are no warnings given.

    It would be great if there is a small warning saying that the change will be applied to all the selected reservations.
