no-show revenue and cancellation fee revenue should be separated
According to STR guidelines, no-show revenue should be included in room revenue when other cancellation revenue not.
Cancellation fee has different VAT in the Netherlands than no-show (no show is 9% when cancellation fee is 0%).
9% is hard coded in mews and therefore impossible to separate (using automatic posting)

Multiple restrictions in place at the same time
Currently the system has two logic when you want to apply an exception to a restriction: merge with existing exceptions or replace all exceptions but sometimes it is behaving the same way.
For example: I want a rate to be available if people stay 3 nights or 7 nights (not 4, 5 o 6 as this will create availability gaps), the system does not allow you, when you try to put the second exception it replaces the first one. The solution I have been given its to create 2 different rates, but I cannot create a new rate every time…

Weeks on the timeline could start on Sunday instead of Monday
Mews shows our weeks start on a Monday whenever the timeline is called up. For our purposes, it would be great if this could be changed so that the timeline starts on Sunday. Could you please add this option to the timeline? Many thanks!

Overbooking
Possibility to check-in and check-out reservation with unassigned space.
In case if we have confirmed no-show reservation and we have option to sell more than 100% rooms. There should be possibility to check-in and check-out this reservation. In case if it will be on unassigned space after 7 days the reservation and the charge will disappear.

Selecting all open bills on a routed company bill at once
I would be nice to have a 'select all' open bills button or checkmark where we can more easily manage all items / open bills on company bills that have a large number of open bills due to payment routing.

When migrating data from past provider to Mews, allow importing the original creation date of all reservations being migrated to facilitate analysis of the booking pace (comparing booking creation date and guest's arrival date)

Group Reservation Report
The "group by" filter in the reservation report does not differentiate between groups with 1 reservation and those with 3+ reservations. Mews assigns a group reference/name to all regardless of the number of reservations in the group.
For better group management, we need a more comprehensive group reporting for all corporate/business/conference groups at a property which would aid in easier marketing, financial performance, and reservation management.

Only one Notification for group bookings
When a group booking is created for lets say 10 rooms, you will get 10 notifications for new bookings.
It would be very helpful if you could send only one notification "new groupbooking 10 rooms" via the little bell symbol.2 votes -

Remove/mark space on the allocation list when room is allocated to an employee
When allocating room numbers to employees it is not possible to see if a room is already allocated to another employee. Most days our houskeeping manager devides about 100 room, and its easy to miss that you have allready allcoted the room. It also dose that she acually prints out the list, marks the rooms on paper, and then allocate the rooms in MEWS operations.
Rooms should be marked/flaged when assigned to make it easier.

Availability Block report - show Room Picked-up / Blocked
Can you under the Availability Block Report add a column for Picked-up/Blocked rooms?
So we easily can see what block that still have rooms blocked but not picked up, without having to open each and everyone to check for blocked rooms.
Per today we only see "status, Start, End, Release, etc"Then we can more easily sell it to someone else !

Better view of Inquired reservations
please add Inquired reservations in both places, Reservation Overview and the Availability & Occupancy report
Is it possible to get a better view of the Availability & Occupancy report to also include INQUIRED reservations?
Per today we can see the number of Optional reservations and Inquired blocks, but not Inquired reservations - which would to get a clearer overview of wait listed reservations.
Per today, the only way to find the INQUIRED reservations is a very complicated and time consuming way, you have to go through the Reservations report and choose Inquired.

Add filter for note classifications
Add an option to filter which type of notes are shown in reports. An use case would be the "Room Status" report with only housekeeping notes (For the housekeeping obviously).
For example for the "Guests in House" report you have an option to toggle products and then a separate option for refining wich products are shown.
Similar there is already an option to toggle notes (guest notes to be specific). Just add an additional option for choosing wich note classifications should be shown.

Mews Terminal available for ALL GUEST
We are using the 'New Mews Terminal Payment' tool since few month already.
This is very helpfull indeed, except for the group on C/O this morningMost of people in the group are 'Blind or partially sighted'
They had problem with the 'Mews Terminal( The terminal has no '''MARK' or feeling option on the screen to enter their PIN code to confirm payment.How would you solve this in future ?

Have a filter in the Manager report for rates
Hoteliers like to track the success of the rates per month and currently, to do that is to run the reservation report with a specific rate selected and to run it in "Total" mode month by month.
Manager report has a lot of potential for improvement to make it more useful for the hoteliers.
