  1. please add Inquired reservations in both places, Reservation Overview and the Availability & Occupancy report

    Is it possible to get a better view of the Availability & Occupancy report to also include INQUIRED reservations?

    Per today we can see the number of Optional reservations and Inquired blocks, but not Inquired reservations - which would to get a clearer overview of wait listed reservations.

    Per today, the only way to find the INQUIRED reservations is a very complicated and time consuming way, you have to go through the Reservations report and choose Inquired.

  2. Add an option to filter which type of notes are shown in reports. An use case would be the "Room Status" report with only housekeeping notes (For the housekeeping obviously).

    For example for the "Guests in House" report you have an option to toggle products and then a separate option for refining wich products are shown.

    Similar there is already an option to toggle notes (guest notes to be specific). Just add an additional option for choosing wich note classifications should be shown.

  3. We are using the 'New Mews Terminal Payment' tool since few month already.
    This is very helpfull indeed, except for the group on C/O this morning

    Most of people in the group are 'Blind or partially sighted'
    They had problem with the 'Mews Terminal( The terminal has no '''MARK' or feeling option on the screen to enter their PIN code to confirm payment.

  4. Hoteliers like to track the success of the rates per month and currently, to do that is to run the reservation report with a specific rate selected and to run it in "Total" mode month by month.

    Manager report has a lot of potential for improvement to make it more useful for the hoteliers.

  6. We often change how a promotional rate is priced, sometimes off BAR, then we might change it to equal AAA, or some other rate from our RMS. Currently if I want to change the base rate being used, I have to delete the entire rate plan and rebuild a new one.

  7. Fast forward to overbooked reservation in timeline

    it would be a nice feature, if we had the function to klick on the red bar (when overbooked in a category) in the timeline to fast forward directly to the (next) overbooked reservation.

    Currently we have to do it like that:

    1. Go to the Reservation report from the dashboard or Main Menu > Reservations > Reservation Report.

  8. Allow the full user edit screen for admins when editing another user like when your editing your own profile / account.

    We add the users to mews and would include 2FA and profile picture so new users have a fully set up account. Right now these options are not available for admins (we have a specific hardware for 2FA and dont want employees to use their private mobile phones for 2FA for security reasons).

    Also it would be great to have an option to specify what users can change by itself similar to the enforce 2FA. Good behaviour would be…

  9. The timeline view is an incredible helpful one and when looking for free spaces in the timeline it would be great if you could just start the creation of a new reservation directly from there.

    Here is my suggestion: Right click on a free space in the timeline to start a daterange selection. With pending daterange selection right click to cancel the daterange selection left to complete. If with a active daterange selection you click anywhere invalid the selection is cancelled to.

  10. Tasks Management: certain automated events in Mews create Automated Tasks. Admins would love the option to disable some of the recurring tasks

    Most automated Tasks, except for the Manual Settlement task enabled in the rate group setting, do not currently have the setting to edit/disable the task at will (for example: when payment requests are fulfilled).

  11. You should be able to make changes to a reservation after the bill has been closed. This would just create a new separate bill with the extra charge/credit.

When making a user profile it would be nice to have an end of employment date or something similar that allows to account to freeze or pause when an employee is not working at the property anymore. This would be a safeguard for responsible user management. This combined with a reminder in advance for users who have user management configured that a user has to be deleted or his/her access has to be extended soon.

  13. When we upload a Group rooming list, at the moment even if all rooms are single rooms the uploaded names will land in the system as Companion. In this way we cannot see the names of the guests staying in the rooms when we look at the timeline for example. It will show the names that the group was picked up under and since we don't always have the rooming list by the time we actually pickup the rooms we use for instance the group name and all rooms will show the Group name as such.   14. Implement a feature to automatically generate a note in a reservation when a specific rate code or company is booked. Currently, notes need to be entered manually. An automated note would be useful for including specific instructions about payment, allocation, and any other important information for the front office. This enhancement would ensure consistency and efficiency in handling reservations.

  17. Restrict some users from being able to delete products within the reservation or billing. Either an approval code from a manager could be entered to allow them to delete it, or the manager themselves who has the permission deletes the product themselves

  19. It would be useful to allow clients to duplicate the "Name" identified in the field "Name*" within the export scheduler page (right side, under the "enabled" box) in the file name that is generated to indicate where the file came from and the interval it was generated for.
