  1. I’d like the Out of Service function to work more like the Out of Order function, with the ability to set a start and stop date/time. The room should remain bookable, but it would be really helpful if the reason and timeframe were displayed more visibly on the timeline screen.

    This would be a game changer for our maintenance team’s ability to communicate with the front desk. Sometimes they’re working in a room that we still want to keep sellable, and having a clear, visible note on the timeline would make it much easier to seamlessly share that information between…

  2. It would be nice to be able to link task directly to the allotment block. It would be easier to locate the block already before any rooms have been picked up. We have several users handling the blocks and making adjustments to the room account, so this would help a lot.

  4. I don't know why the rate management screen has been changed but it's dreadful. I used to be able to click on individual days and quickly change the price but now can't. Can it be changed back please? Or give a quick edit option?

  5. I am reaching out to request a feature update that would allow rates to be suppressed on reservations. This functionality is very important to our daily operations, as many of our corporate accounts prefer to book reservations for their associates without disclosing the rate to them.

    This capability was available to our corporate clients in our previous PMS, and the inability to suppress rates now creates challenges and can negatively impact our business relationships with these clients.

  6. När vi gör ankomstlistan för nästa dag "Reservation overview report" så tar det för lång tid nu - ni har ändrad detta nyligen (ca. 10 dagar sedan)
    Vi vill INTE att det hoppar tillbaka till toppen av listan när man korrigerat en ankomst. Vi vill komma tillbaka till listan på den rad/bokstav där vi är.

  7. a direct way to set minimum length of stay restrictions that depend on the booking window—for example, enabling 1-night stays when booked within a week of arrival but requiring a 2-night minimum otherwise. lead-time-specific rules would make for a better occupancy and facilitate further processes.

  8. Hi,

    It would be great to see at a glance the gateway state of a bill sent on the guest/company dashboard.
    We can see it was “sent” but it doesn’t mean it was received.

    Gateway State let us know when dropped - for example, there was a typo in the email address

    We could more easily identify when invoices have never reached our customers.

    Do you think that would be feasible?

  9. We have companies who refer to their reservation by purchase order number.
    It would be great to be able to search by purchase order number and the reservation in question would be brought up.

  10. Currently restrictions only consider the arrival date and not the departure date.

    This means that if I want only allow bookings at my property from today - 365 days from now, setting the below restriction is not enough to close out the property from day 366 onwards. This restriction will allow a reservation to start on day 1 - 364 and end any day afterwards.

    Restriction type: Closed to Stay/Arrival/Departure
    Maximum advance: 365 days

    The best current workaround is to set the below restriction. However, this restricts stays arriving on day 336 - 365, and also for more than 30…

  11. Would be wonderful if you could click on a date in the next month rather than them being blanked out and you having to go up to an arrow in the month calender and clicking a small arrow to move to the next month. Time and wrist saving!

  13. Being able to offer a voucher / promo code that allows for a price reduction from the booking amount. E.g. using code "Spring100" in the booking engine to receive a 100 € discount on the price. That is sometimes more effective than offering a %-discount.

  14. Warum muss ich bei einer Firmenreservierung sofort einen Gastnamen anlegen? Es wäre einfacher, wenn ich nur den Namen der buchenden Person anlegen könnte und die Gästenamen dann nachtrage. So muss ich die Felder doppelt ausfüllen. Gerade bei Firmen, die mehrere Zimmer gebucht haben, ist das anstrengend.

  15. Es ist unglaublich nervig, dass ich, wenn ich eine neue Reservierung manuell anlege, nicht sofort alle Daten wie z.B. die Adresse des Gastes oder die zugewiesene Firma eingeben kann. Warum kann man das Fenster dafür nicht erweitern?

    It's incredibly annoying that when I create a new reservation manually, I can't immediately enter all the details, such as the guest's address or the assigned company. Why can't the window be expanded for this?

  16. The cleaning status of the parent room should also change automatically if the parent room is booked with two seperate reservations. F.e. If both reservations checked in -> parent room should change to same status of both reservations. The same applies if both rooms have been checked out.
    At the moment housekeeping has to change the status of the parent room manually.

  18. Our establishment has to deal with numerous overbookings and, following discussions with your support team, we were told that Mews does not have any features designed to prevent this situation. Overbookings are a nightmare for responsible hoteliers, who have to find alternative accommodation at their own expense if no solution can be found internally, and they have a negative impact on the satisfaction of the guests affected.   19. Currently when an availability block is created, you can only block a space category overall. What would be beneficial to see an accurate ADR forecast/OTB for the future, is to be able to block rooms based on single or double occupancy.

    For example, we block 8 rooms Standard as Single Occ. and 2 rooms Standard as Double Occ. with 2 different rates, so the ADR is calculated correctly. Currently it is only based on one rate and then adjusts once picked up based on occupancy adjustments, but for forecasting this is no use.

  20. It would be much more efficient if we could add a new payment method directly while creating a reservation—without needing to first create a profile or open a separate tab. Many of us finalize reservations without a payment method initially, so having this option in the same workflow would really streamline the process.
