Firmenreservierung ohne Gastnamen - Company reservation without guest names
Warum muss ich bei einer Firmenreservierung sofort einen Gastnamen anlegen? Es wäre einfacher, wenn ich nur den Namen der buchenden Person anlegen könnte und die Gästenamen dann nachtrage. So muss ich die Felder doppelt ausfüllen. Gerade bei Firmen, die mehrere Zimmer gebucht haben, ist das anstrengend.

Es ist unglaublich nervig, dass ich, wenn ich eine neue Reservierung manuell anlege, nicht sofort alle Daten wie z.B. die Adresse des Gastes oder die zugewiesene Firma eingeben kann. Warum kann man das Fenster dafür nicht erweitern?
It's incredibly annoying that when I create a new reservation manually, I can't immediately enter all the details, such as the guest's address or the assigned company. Why can't the window be expanded for this?

Granular Space Changes Report
A report that is exportable and can be filtered to display all space/room changes at different stages of the reservation, especially for Confirmed and Checked-in.
**The Action Log displays space changes but does not allow the user to define reservation state.

Automatic change of cleaning status for parent rooms
The cleaning status of the parent room should also change automatically if the parent room is booked with two seperate reservations. F.e. If both reservations checked in -> parent room should change to same status of both reservations. The same applies if both rooms have been checked out.

Mews braucht dringend eine Schnittstelle für die Meldung der monatlich erforderlichen Beherbergungsstatistik. JEDES Hotel in Deutschland muss diese Meldung monatlich einreichen. Warum gibt es in Mews weder eine Schnittstelle für e-Statistik.core noch einen passenden Report, der auf dem Portal importiert werden kann.
Aktuell muss ich die Daten manuell in einem Formular auf IDEV eingeben. Bitte handelt schnell um diese unnötige Arbeit zu automatisieren bzw. zu vereinfachen.3 votes -
Make it easier to see how many guests are present on any one night
It would be far easier for management to see how many guests are present on any one night but having a simple sum total formula added at the base to see total occupants. It takes forever to click on every room, look to the right, log th number, then onto the next room and manually add up the occupants for all the rooms. Next to the customers name on the timeline it could also hold the number of occupants for that room/property so it can bee see at a glance instead of actually clicking on each room.

Receive larger Excel files
Hello everyone,
I work a lot with accounting reports to provide data to external Excel files that create very clean dashboards. I have set up an automatic sending from Mews to my mailbox, but the Excel files are too large.
Do you have any suggestions or possibilities to increase the maximum file size that can be sent to our mailbox? Receiving them by email saves me a lot of time since I manage six properties in Mews.

Functionality to stop overbookings
Our establishment has to deal with numerous overbookings and, following discussions with your support team, we were told that Mews does not have any features designed to prevent this situation. Overbookings are a nightmare for responsible hoteliers, who have to find alternative accommodation at their own expense if no solution can be found internally, and they have a negative impact on the satisfaction of the guests affected. Occupancy based availability blocks
Currently when an availability block is created, you can only block a space category overall. What would be beneficial to see an accurate ADR forecast/OTB for the future, is to be able to block rooms based on single or double occupancy.
For example, we block 8 rooms Standard as Single Occ. and 2 rooms Standard as Double Occ. with 2 different rates, so the ADR is calculated correctly. Currently it is only based on one rate and then adjusts once picked up based on occupancy adjustments, but for forecasting this is no use.

In the “Accounting report” we do not have any information about the actual date of when the service was provided. Is it possible to add an information about the original date of consumption?

Streamlining Payment Entry During Reservation Creation
It would be much more efficient if we could add a new payment method directly while creating a reservation—without needing to first create a profile or open a separate tab. Many of us finalize reservations without a payment method initially, so having this option in the same workflow would really streamline the process.

Allow Export Pull over 4MB for Larger Enterprise Properties
When attempting to export more than 4MB of data, the Reservation Report often fails and times out, particularly for larger enterprise properties.
It is important to take into account that properties with larger inventories are likely to have more reservation data overall; therefore, they should not have to constantly rely on exporting smaller batches and having to piece them together.

Report of pending payment filtered by guests in house
In order to have a control of the client in the hotel for their extras, we need a report with pending payment but only the client who are in the hotel, no futur client.

Breakfast price changes - Product
Problem:
When you update a product price in Mews (like breakfast), it only applies to new bookings. But if a guest changes their reservation (like the dates), Mews may remove the original product and re-add it at the new price not the one that was originally booked. This causes confusion for staff, inconsistent pricing for guests, and potential overcharges. Even with the workaround of creating new product versions and stopping sales of the old one, the issue can still happen, especially when guests change bookings via OTAs like Booking.com.Proposed Solution:

Be able to change the customer without have it add them as an additional guest first
You should be able to change the customer on a reservation without first having to add them as a companion. The current process creates an unnecessary and inefficient workflow.
For example, if a booker initially makes a reservation under Joe Smith but later wants to change the guest name to Jane Doe, the hotel reservations agent must:
1. Change the reservation to two guests
2. Add Jane Doe as a companion
3. Assign Jane Doe as the primary guest
4. Remove Joe Smith from the reservation

Inventory count on products
Inventory on products should be possible. For instance limit a certain product such as pet to only x number sold pr. day.
As of now we have to close an entire product for all dates if this is sold out on one date.
This is causing loss of potential revenue as well as poor service for the guests.12 votes
