  1. We have just moved across to MEWS so far there is a lot to like, but there are a few issues that are making it a real pain at time...

    1) Ability to sort the timeline in numerical order, I appreciate all the other filter options but sometimes just viewing spaces in numerical order is greatly appreciated

    2) ability to use our own in house colours for reservations this allows a quick glance at the timeline to gain a lot of information without having to search for it

  3. We currently have the ability to auto close bills at checkout. Can we please have the ability to auto close bills during the guest confirmation process, as long as the balance is $0? We use Enzo connect for the guest journey and this feature would allow their systems to work properly.

  4. We’d like the flexibility to define different cancellation policies per room category, without creating separate rates.
    Example:
    - Standard Room: free cancellation up to 7 days before arrival
    - Suite with Sea View: free cancellation up to 14 days before arrival

    Both should be part of the same rate, shown consistently across booking channels and internal systems.
    Maybe as a rule?

  5. Is it possible to change the number of items on the product checklist to, for example, 250? Currently when we switch pages the system slows down, so it would be great to have all items on one list for a smoother operation.

  6. Is it possible to add a consumption date in the invoice preview for the products and services?
    To see the consumption details we need to "print” the invoice to see the overview.
    It would be more optimal to have it visible on the invoice preview.

  7. In order to issue invoices in the "Overview by date (no reservation details)" invoice format we would need 3 changes to be implemented:

    1.Add notes to the "Overview by date (no reservation details)" invoice format 
     
    Currently the "Overview by date (no reservation details)" invoice format does not show notes for additional products for the services that have the option "has expanded bill items" and for products that have "bill as package" disabled.

  11. Is it possible to consider not making this field mandatory to set the number of days, especially if the property wishes for their integration to default all space status changes, and Mews not to be the one changing the space to Dirty automatically.

    If it must be mandatory, it would be useful if properties using "Housekeeping Integrations" could select their integration in a drop-down menu from that field to indicate that Mews will not automatically change the status of the space. The clients can revert back to Mews and Set the number of days as needed.

  12. We would really appreciate having the option for parking to be automatically marked as “checked-in” once the guest checks into their room and also automatically adding the parking booked on the bill to the timeline of Parking Service.

    Currently, having to switch between services to manually check in the parking is inconvenient and time-consuming, especially during busy check-in times. Automating this step would greatly improve front desk efficiency.

    Additionally, it would be very helpful to have a “parking” icon displayed in the guest profile, so we can quickly see who has a parking spot.

  14. We would like to be able to set priorities for multiple Cancellation policies within the same Rate group. For example if the rate group has 30 days cancellation policy, but also needs to apply free cancellation within 24hr after confirmation, if the booking was made less that 30 days prior to arrival, 24 hr free cacellation should kick in first and exclude 30 days cancellation policy.

  15. Sería muy útil poder generar un informe de "Estado de los Espacios" que ofrezca las siguientes opciones:

    1. Poder imprimirlo en horizontal (el .pdf se genera automáticamente en vertical y eso comprime la información y dificulta su lectura para el servicio de limpieza)
    2. Poder ocultar nombres de la reserva/huéspedes (por privacidad/protección de datos)
    3. Que aparezca algún gráfico que permita leer más fácil si hay una salida/entrada, bloqueo, libre, sucia, LCO, etc.
    4. Que se pueda ver la fecha de entrada/salida, duración de la estancia y cuántos días le quedan.

  16. Currently if a guest has a reservation with more than one bookable service, let's say a room and a parking spot, they cannot get a Digital Key for the room.

    The guest should always be offered a Digital Key when enabled on the property and the space, regardless of what other bookable service they have on the same reservation group.

  17. Just heard from MEWS premium support that it is not possible to apply a non refundable full deposit policy(For all Rates/Levels) to a certain date or date range for a special event. This is possible with other PMS providers so please could I ask for this feature to be created.

  19. It would be prefered ou guest are be able to book multiple nights via online booking even though there are restrictions. We have high and low season and it is important that guests can book across them. For example, a Thursday - Saturday in October will be two different prices

  20. Would be very helpful if the dietary restrictions or allergies the guest enters on their profile to also appear on their booking in the timeline and not just under their profile. This will save us a huge amount of time
