Where we can, we'll move ideas around to group them as intuitively as possible for the product managers working on the PMS.

  1. If you want to know, what or how many reservation were coming in today, you have to go through reports and filter by creation date etc., which is very complicated for just having a live update, especially in high demand days like fairs.
    It would be more convenient if you could put an extra button on the dashboard under reservations like "update reservation". So that it is also possible to check this from outside or if you just want to have a quick check for the day.

  2. Give to each user the chance to change the reservation overview. Just give us more options, like in windows ( large icons, small icons, list and details).

  3. Our flexi rate is +20% of our base rate. So when guest adds an extra bed for 1000 they get charged 1200 for the extra bed with a fexible rate.
    We dont want this we only want to charge 1000.
    So we cant use this feature and have to use extra bed as a product which in itself leads to other issues.

  4. Please note some guests get confused by Rs and think it is Indian rupees which off course does not represent the same value at all. It would be very helpful if the rates could be shown as MUR instead of Rs for Mauritius. Note Booking.com already does this, I guess for the same reason.

  5. When managing different hotels, it is hard to see on which hotel you are logged in. Everything is Black/White. The only thing to differentiate is the small logo on the right corner. (As our logos are also B/W, you have to look carefully). If we could set the whole background in a specific colour, we could differentiate more easily and avoid mistakes... The aim is above all to identify more clearly on which hotel you are logged in. The colour is just an idea.

  7. Will be a good thing to have the possibility to download all daily invoices to one PDF to store them in digital format, to avoid using paper and saving time to do that one by one.

  8. Delay or even cancel the pop-ups on Occupancy and Availability screens. They are incredibaly anoying when you are trying to look at data, and they constantly pop-up or down above, below when you hoover over your availability and occupancy screen.

    Please make sure there is a small delay, i.e. when you stopt for 0,5 seconds that it pops up.

  10. With this feature, the Travel agency will be automatically updated depending on the rate chosen.
    It avoid to forget to add the Travel agency upon making the booking.

  12. In Italy we are facing the issue, that each invoice has to be print out on a specific invpice paper and only one time. So the night receptionists have to keep track of all the bills closed on one day which they do by using the bill and invoices report. It would be even more helpful to have an extra column added with the amount of prints so that they don't have to click in each bill.

  13. There is no space to register the date of an card payment by terminal or an external payment, like a wire transfer. This is needed to keep the accounting reports correct, when a wire transfer is registed not on the same day.

  16. The virtual credit card must be deleted/disabled automatically after a useless time. In general these CC serves to charge once and are no longer to be valid. It can be very useful for the regular customer profiles.

  17. NR Bookings made via booking.com with different guestnames are not taken over in Mews. If you do yourself, and delete bookers name, payment information dissapears. How to implement other name in single room without changing payment info?

  18. The system should be able to propose the cheapest rate possible to our guests (like booking.com does). Mixing the rates to offer the best deal is a guarantee to compete better against booking.com. Not mixing the rates allows booking.com to steal bookings from us. Exemple: you activate a Last Minute deal on the next 48h. A guest want to arrive today and stay for 3 days. On booking.com, he will see a rate mixed from the last minute rate (for the 2 first nights) and from another rate for the 3d night. On our booking engine, you will see either…

    We’d love to understand your expectations regarding the behavior around rate mixing. Right now, we’re especially looking for insights from two key roles:

  19. House Accounts which are regularly used tend load/open slowly due to high volumes of transactions.

    Can we move historical data (90days and older) to a separate account or only load the most recent data when opening the account (last 60 days)

    This will assist efficiency and speed when charging to house accounts.

  20. Currently, when creating a product under Services, the details of the stay will appear on the bill. With making this possible, the product created under Services will appear on bills as well.
