  1. When you add a product on the reservation screen, it would be nice to be able to select what date you want it for instead of being put for the all stay and after have to cancel the date you don't want it

  2. At the moment, it can be hard to tell if an invoice has been emailed to the client or not. can the email button be turned red or something to show if the email has been sent.

  3. Would like to see Managers Report with expandable categories like the Accounting Report. Hotels use a Flash Report which is a combination of statistics, revenues broken down by type and often need detail information of the other revenues for their Flash Report. This report is generated daily but also there is a need to see each day in the month format. Some properties want basic information, other more granular. Additional Statistics by Market Segment should be added so all this information is on one page in one place rather than run 3 different reports and manually input into an Excel…

  4. Some hotels would like the ability to overbook room types due to cancellation, no shows and early departures. Would like to have the ability to overbook a room type within limits set by the user. Example, 20 available king rooms. Sell to Capacity to 22. Therefore, we authorize a maximum of 22 king rooms to be sold. These reservations would fall into the pink overbooking timeline and could be upgraded from there based upon the property operating model.   5. When using Mews to book a reservation, there are times a manager needs to have the ability to override the restrictions and "Force-Sell" a room. Example the property may have a 2 night minimum, but wants to book a VIP for 1 night only. The process now is to remove the restriction, book the reservation and put the restriction back on which exposes availability. Better to have a NS (Normal Sell using restrictions) and FS (Force-Sell with overrides restrictions) for Management use only.

  6. Receive a notification (email) when a guest orders a product or service as an upsell at the kiosk check-in process. Currently this is only possible for all products and services ordered through both commander and channel. We would like to see the option to enable notifications only for kiosk transactions. In this way the reception knows which actions to take next.

  7. Have a link to directly downlad the api for the Mews Application for android and apple phones. As we have company pads and phones and do not want to use our private gmail accounts to access google appsstore.

  8. When moving a reservation from one category to another, one must first unlock to change the room category. Then the system assigns the room to a room in that category automatically, then we need to unlock the system again to move the guest to the room which we have already decided to move them to.

    Can th the lock function not lock in when changing room categories as the process is not complete until we move them to the correct room. Or just make it that when you change room category that Mews does not assign any room to the…

  9. When you move a reserveration from one room to another, both rooms become dirty. Is it possible to add an option in stay for the new room (which is inspected)
    to stay inspected.

    That the room that the guest has moved to stays inspected. The prior rooms can stay dirty just the new room keeps it status. As after midnight inspected rooms become clean then dirty after housekeeping intervall. This way we can keep track of linen change and don't have to manually change it after every move.

    Just have as an option if other hotels don't use the system…

  10. When adding a service product to a booking, if you enter 10 or under as the amount, it will split it in to 10 separate lines which can be moved to different bills if necessary. If you post over 10, it will combine in to 1 lump sum which is less clear and gives VAT rounding differences. Can the limit of 10 be increased to 31 so a whole month of a charge could be created and split in to different lines?

  11. Currently, the Mews Manager Report provides day by day revenue and basic statistics. Group by Accounting Category perfect. However, it would be great to add another filter to be able to see a complete breakdown of Occupancy %, Room Revenue by Market Segment including Rooms Occupied, ADR, Room Revenue, Number of Guests all in one report.

    This filter currently exists in the Reservations Report. This is extremely helpful to see this complete detail on one report rather than have to go to another report to find the detail. As it exists now, Room Statistics and Revenue are Totals only. Save…

  12. If you have been off for a few days, when you log in you receive all past messages which is annoying. Would it be possible to only receive message sent/received for the day you log in versus past history of messages?

  13. Do we have the ability to Batch Post Charges on a billing screen to multiple accounts at the same time with different amounts? This would be a one time manual posting and not reoccurring.
    Example:
    A tour group charges a fee per bag of $5.00. Staff count the number of bags delivered per guest. List provided to front desk. Each one could be different or the same amount per room. Not included in the room charge as the tour operator pays or in some cases the guest pays but not normally. There are 50 people on the tour. Currently each…

  14. Currently the Reservations Report Arrival screen can be viewed. Many properties print this report to view any actionable items or notes. Currently, Mew has an export but the data has all the reservation information including address, credit card details, etc... that is not needed. Just need the ability to view/print on PDF basic guest arrival information especially notes that fit on a page.

    These reports are not just backup reports, but used every day by the front desk team and are printed/viewed upon demand.

Example, if I wanted to see on Total On the Books for June and today is June 10, I would select June 1 to June 30 date span.   16. Would like to have the ability to view/export/print a day by day market segment report for a specific date span. This could be for past dates or future dates. This would include only totals, no details or drill down required, of room nights, ADR by market segment. Would also be good to show Period to Date, Year to Date, Period to Date Last Year and YTD Last Year with Summary Totals at the bottom of the report.   17. Allow for a 'rate cap' or 'maximum threshold' for space categories that are derived by a percentage increase off the base rate.

    For example: a space category that decreases 20% off base rate would not be allowed to reach below $.xx or above $.xx

I have been facing an issue with my timeline and task donuts as it does not gives me real time data and my timeline if i resolve the overbooking it still keeps on showing the red or orange line for overbooking so i need to log in again and then it gets resolve and this is what we are facing since 2 months and they are still working on the issue lol since 2 months and they will get back to us when they have something lol almost 2 months???

  19. We have large flats with 3 rooms, equipped as follows s1iLiving room (not bookable independently).
    2 bedrooms (can be booked in combination with the living room as a small or large flat, or separately as 2 studios.
    Is it possible to add the living room so that it is not included in the count of total available rooms?
    In one of our existing houses, this means that instead of 124 rooms with 10 flats, we suddenly have 134 available rooms.
    For the cleaning report, it certainly makes sense to list all rooms. However, for all statistics, the data is distorted.
