  1. Email notifications can be a lot to go through especially if you are receiving a lot of daily communications to just one main address.
    It would be helpful to have visual reservation alerts (colorful) come up on the timeline or on the reservation screen in case of failed settlements (for any reason) - especially after check-in.

  2. It would be nice to be able to put a limit on how far back users can make reports. For example; with the current payment report a low level user can see all payments and revenue years back. This doesn't make sense to me at all.

  3. Please split the different available reports in the Permissions tab when assinging roles to employees.
    This way we can make several reports, like a reservations report, available for a number of employees who need this while they do not need permission to the Accounting report or Accounting ledger f.e.

  4. An employee can only see one bookable service, but not the other. This is useful when there is a management company with lots of different clients/bookable services and everyone has only access to their own bookable service.

  5. It would be helpful if we can select the specific room types we need to assign to a specific rate plan. Currently, we just need to add more restrictions if a room type cannot be sold under a rate plan.

  6. Displaying the rate (Best rate of the day) on the calendar would save time on two levels:
    1- When making a reservation, it would be possible to inform the customer at a glance about the availability of a room and to communicate the rate of the room.

    2- displaying the rates on the calendar would help to check the correct configuration of the rates and to make changes/adjustments if necessary.

  7. Do not sell new booking that force to change the room number of future booking with a lock on because the guests wants to have this room number. The property should have the option to decide if the future bookings with a lock on, can limit the availability in the inventory in order to ensure that a client can have the room number he wants.

  8. Would it be possible to split check-outs based on when they are leaving?
    If you could possibly create some headlines between the check-outs with grouping of times.

  10. It can be cumbersome to filter further on the "Assign" Page (hand icon) when a client has already filtered the service on the "Spaces" Tab (house icon), especially for the number of Spaces we still have to go through in order to select the correct space per that service. Somehow, ALL the spaces are still listed regardless of the filtered services.

IT and Property Admins are requesting a more robust platform for their permissions where they can manage login audits (for example) for the properties they are running so they can react more urgently and proactively when necessary without needing to involve the Support team as the first plan of action(especially in time-sensitive cases).

  12. Zurzeit sind nur Reservationsnotizen im Mews-App ersichtlich. Dabei fehlen aber die Notizen vom Gast (z.B. wünscht zwei Kissen). Ist es möglich, dass die Gästenotizen mit der Rubrik "Housekeeping" auch auf der Mews-App hinterlegt sind? Somit muss die Rezeption die Notizen nicht jedesmal kopieren.

  13. When you go to manage a reservation, then Properties, then change the arrival or departure date, the "Apply Cancellation Fee" box appear, AND it is already checked. This is incredibly stupid. First, the box is completely useless since even if you were to use it to apply a cancellation fee, it doesn't add the tax. Second, why would you have it automatically checked, when more than 90% of the time there is no need to charge a cancellation fee, including 99.9% of time when you're changing the departure date.   15. Our operations and guest experience would be so much smoother if tasks were automatically assigned to a specified department when a product is added! Product options currently only automatically assign tasks if a product is added during online check-in. This should be an option when a product is added during any step of the guest journey - either by the guest or by the reservations specialist.

  16. On bill > [+] Add Product > It would be useful to eventually add a "currency" field to change the currency of the product for those environments accepting multiple currencies.

    At this time, one has to create multiple products to reflect a distinct currency in their settings.

  17. The option of setting automatic alerts to pop-up during different stages of reservations, such as during check-in, any time you open the reservation, during check-out. The alert text should be customizable, so a user can enter anything there, but also the possibility of adding standard alerts depending on membership level, profile classifications, specific rates, etc.

  18. In the account ledger, Strawberry bonus withdrawals must be sorted with past due billings first. Now it is all mixed, making it time consuming to close the past bills.
    Also it would be helpful if you expand the bills, it did not collapse everytime you close one bill.
    Last, when closing a bill you automatically go back to the top, not staying wherever you were working in the account.

  19. Be able to sort bookings by date of departure and date of receipt, as well as date of arrival in a COMPANY PROFILE like Booking.com or Expedia. Depending on how you need it for the (monthly) bill.

(1) When filtering out the Start and End date fields to search "applicable" or "created" interval, it should intuitively grey out dates past the start date and then prompt the user with future dates within the same calendar period (future in general). Users should not be expected to keep clicking on dates to select the desired dates.

    (2) Once you access a restriction, and edit it then you click "<=" to go back to the restriction page/dashboard. However, the dates previously selected have been reset to the current/default "applicable" window. The clients would like to not keep selecting the dates…
