  1. If there are multiple public rates within the same rate group, MEWS will only display the cheapest option in the booking engine.

    This causes issues for us for example when publishing our Christmas packages. They would both fall under the same rate group (PKG - Package incl. breakfast in this example), but since one package includes dinner and the other one a *****, only the cheaper ***** package will be shown to our guests.

  2. Having a function that lets you split a group or move a reservation from one group to another. This would be a tremendous help if f.ex. you add a reservation to a wrong group and have to move it to another group, if you need to "pick up" reservations from one group and make a new group.
    Now you have to cancel the reservations in original group and make a new one, which can be very time consuming.

  3. Guests occasionally have a reservation under one booking, followed by another reservation under a different booking number (e.g if they've decided to add another night or have been staying for work and adding another day as a personal expense). Under the current system they need to check out and get their cards recut which isn't a great customer experience, we need to manually allocate the same room for both stays, inform Housekeeping not to clear the room and if they haven't paid in advance, we need to pay extra attention to their billing as it's split over multiple bookings.

  9. Chain hotels that manage (Group-) or individual reservations for 95% from headquarters level want to restrict individual hotels to make any changes on the reservation. Especially, when the majority of guests are corporate travellers whereby the booking has been made by the company booker. There is an agreement between Chain and Company HQ, whereby the individual hotels are not allowed to make any changes on the reservation.

    Restricting employees to only view the reservation details, but are still able to check-in/out and handle the billing of the guestprofile would resolve this.

  10. Please add following interval for scheduled reports:
    "NEXT 5 DAYS"

    schedule starts 8/9 07h00 -> report for 9/9, 10/9, 11/9, 12/9, 13/9
    next schedule 9/9 07h00 -> report for 10/9, 11/9, 12/9, 13/9, 14/9
    etc...

    Maybe also 'next 10 days' as an extra option.

  11. Provide functionality for auto-allocation of bookings to units, in order to spread revenue income evenly across owners. Rather than Top-Down, Bottom-Up, or Random, taking prior YTD revenue consumed by unit in to account would help spread revenue evenly and keep owners happy (particularly w/ Condo-Hotel types where individuals own specific units and put them in rental pools)

  12. It would be good that the bills that are in the Company Profile billing showed whether the reservation is 'Past', 'Future' or 'Checked in' so it is easier to issue invoices to big OTA providers like AirBnb, which have many bookings assigned at the same time. Currently you have to open and check every single bill.

    This could show the same way the 'Items: 1' tab does.

  13. It would be helpful if MEWS invoices could be formatted so that the billing address would appear in a letter window if printed.

    If the billing address was on the lefthand side of the invoice and larger font so it is more visible that would be much better.

    The billfooter with the Hotels information would be better at the bottom of the invoice, or at least on the right hand side and in much smaller font as it currently takes up most of the space on the invoice.

  14. Dans la partie de droite de la réservation, il sera plus facile de lire les produits s'ils étaient regroupés en une ligne. Pour des longs séjours la liste des produits est vite beaucoup trop longue.
    Par exemple au lieu d'avoir 9 lignes avec 1 produit, avoir 1 ligne avec les 9 produits

  15. The pre-arrival email is very useful, but 2 days prior to stay is too close - both for guests making arrangements and our upselling, can we have the option to amend this to 7 days to give guests the ability to book dinners etc in advance.
    If we could have the option to make and schedule our own email templates that would be even better :)

  17. Can you please make it possible to use notes across multiple services?

    Current situation: Notes can only be used on multiple rooms/parking of the same service. If you want to use the same notes for both a room and a car park, you have to enter them twice.

    Desired situation: It should be possible to add and update notes for several services at once (using the checkboxes).

  18. While using a space in space set up, but NOT using different reservations in that space, it is now not possible to process a late check out for only one space. This is inconvenient, since in practice it happens that only one space needs a late check out and not the whole room/all spaces.

    Our example: We have 2-room apartments that are a combination of 2 separate rooms, combined with a connecting door. The 2-room apartments can be booked separately, or as a 2-room apartment by for example a family. In the case of the family, the 2-room apartment is…

  19. It is extremely tedious to have to change the translation for each possible languages for each individual element in Mews. A simple task such as making an edit to a unit descriptions requires 150 different entries if we want to accomodate all languages.

    There should be an AI tool that translates all Mews textfields in all possible languages from a default language to manage all other translations, such as Deepl for websites.

  20. We need a quick option to consolidate items in billing and rename them.

    So f.eks. we sell our guest a soup and a panini through our trivec system, but when we send the bill we have companies that wants those two items to be consolidated into one item and renamed “hot meal"
