Possibility to merge two companies together, where each of the companies have a Travel Agency Contract attached
At the moment, it is not possible to merge two companies together where both of the companies have a Travel Agency Contract attached.
It would be great to allow this merge without having to remove the TA contract first.

The hotel would like to receive a cc of the confirmation emails sent by mews. Because we can not follow up on changes made after the original confirmation of a group, ie some have to book different room categories and therefore have differten rates. When part of the rooms are cancelled, we cant see which category at what rate.

Task automatically assigned on arrival date
When creating a task from a reservation the execution date should be set = arrival date, not today.

Travel Agent Contract search
The only filter option for Travel Agent Contract is Country. This makes it really difficult to find the correct contract, especially when you have several with approximately the same name.
Or - if Travel Agent Contract could be a filtering for the Companies so it could be found from there.

Sustainable integrations and native imports
Being able to integrate/import more details into mews.
When looking to the future our demand for accurate and immediate reporting becomes ever bigger. having MEWS as the central HUB for everything would be nice. Alternatively having more integrations with 3rd party players that can take relevant info from mews, ESG reporting criterias will be more and more crucial in the coming years2 votes -
Delete items on the bill versus having to manually adjust.
The ability to remove product items once posted, rather than having to do a full adjustment every time something is posted in error.
There should also be a log of items added to the bill as well as removed, so that we can keep track.

Lead-in time and configuration for product upselling
There is already a suggestion for having a inventory for stay products. Now that the products can be booked by the customer during the booking flow and online check-in, it would be interesting to have more configuration options for upsell products. Right now, it is very limited. Certain products need to be prepared or ordered on request. There should be a deadline of choice. For example: booking a bouquet of flowers can only be added 48 hours before arrival. Otherwise we can't order the flowers anymore. It would be great if Mews could integrate with VIES so all company data is checked and validated. This will ensure a higher data quality and simplify billing processes.

Split payment amount
Can we please have an option to split a payment ?
Like you can partially refund a payment. IE guest pays by card 110€ but wants 2 invoices. first invoice room only 100€ and second invoice extras 10€ . guest doesnt want 2 payments on his card. How can you split the payment amount of 110€ into 100€ and 10€ on 2 invoices ?48 votes -
Price closing at a specific occupancy
We would like to have a rate that closes at an occunpancy above the 85%.

Displaying products within the rate
When the reception team takes a direct booking and pick up a rate, it should note which products are included. Firstly, when looking at the individual rates – where it notes the R/O cost and products e.g. +£16 – it should note what these products are. Secondly, once it is picked up, in the reservation summary, it displays the rate code e.g. ‘BB’ – but it should also note the summary of the products within it.

Separate present and future bookings automatically on bills
Even though you can manually move future bookings to a separate bill it would be really useful if Mews did this automatically. It sometimes gets missed by reception and charged by mistake.

Company/agent shown in the reservation overview
It would be great when the company of booking agent which is related to the guest is shown in the reservation overview. For example shown guest name, related to company X.

Extending stay of guests
MEWS automatically allocate guests to a room. However, when you want to extend a guest's stay and another guest is allocated to that room, you first have to move the other guest to be able to extend the stay of the other guest. It would be helpful that if you want to extend a guest's stay, it automatically moves the other guest to another available room.

It would be time saving when reservations can be duplicated to other dates, while keeping the name, room settings etc.

Automatic linen change for housekeeping
It would be great if MEWS shows automatically which room needs a linen change. For example, after 5 days. And the housekeeping sees or receives a notification in their application.

Balance check when using browser
The Kiosk can be configured so that guests cannot check in with an outstanding balance, but this is not available in the main browser-based Mews. This means a user can check in a guest that has an outstanding balance, without Mews even asking them to confirm.
It would be very useful if there were options to not allow a guest to check in with an outstanding balance at all, as well as Mews asking to confirm if the user wants to proceed with checking in with an outstanding balance. This will remove the likelihood of a guest checking in, staying…
