  1. It is extremely tedious to have to change the translation for each possible languages for each individual element in Mews. A simple task such as making an edit to a unit descriptions requires 150 different entries if we want to accomodate all languages.

    There should be an AI tool that translates all Mews textfields in all possible languages from a default language to manage all other translations, such as Deepl for websites.

  2. We need a quick option to consolidate items in billing and rename them.

    So f.eks. we sell our guest a soup and a panini through our trivec system, but when we send the bill we have companies that wants those two items to be consolidated into one item and renamed “hot meal"

  3. When you try to delete a rate, it can be very frustrating to have to find out it is linked to your channel manager / has restrictions / linked to another rate / has a voucher....
    why not allow you tick boxes to do this whilst you are in the rate you want to delete?
    it took me about 5 minutes for something that should be able to be done in 30 seconds!

  4. In the mews app, show the product items that are within the system so that housekeeping knows what to add, a bottle of champagne for example.

    It would be even greater if we would have a setting per product to what we would like to show in the app. Breakfast for example would not be relevant to housekeeping.

  5. We're new to MEWS and whilst the functionality is brilliant (thank you), our front of house team really struggle with the visual appearance of the timeline. Spending lots of screen time on a screen with poor visual appearance and contrasts is not healthy and inefficient as it is difficult to see the timeline at a glance - please could you look at improving visual contrasts both colours and lines between dates/spaces for improved accessibility.

  7. It would be nice to be able to promote specific products to specific rate groups segments or even more direct to specific rates and even better to be able to enable function for specific periods only.
    Example:
    - Offering Full day SPA access to OTA guest as an promotion in low season

  10. Single Space Under 2 or more category type

    The feature to automatically disable the other category when one category is booked for a single room/bed is not available.

    For example Room 101 is a Quad room but I also want it to be a four-bed dormitory room. Depends on the first customer the bed will be selected as a quad room or a 4 bed dormitory. The other category will be disabled when another one is selected if dormitory it will be dormitory and quad room category will be disabled for that room.

  12. Hi,

    I have set a service for guests to book Day by the Pool .

    I want a cap of 6 to book sunbeds, but this is not possible.

    At the moment the functionality to cap the maximum number is capping the number of adults but you cannot cap the number of bed (sunbeds).

    So far it not possible to have a way to cap inventory per booking.

  13. In order to check if restrictions are still valid / necessary, the occupancy (overall and per room type) should be displayed in the restrictions calendar (as in rate management). This is very important to check if MLOS and close restrictions are still valid.

  14. Looking for an integrated report for Deposit Ledgers which includes the following information:-
    1. Guest Name
    2. Reservation ID
    3. Arrival Date
    4. Departure Date
    5. Room No.
    6. Reservation Type
    7. Status (Reserved/Cancelled)
    8. Last Paid On
    9. Deposit Balance.

    As currently, we need to check deposits from Accounting Ledger from guest detailed information from Reservation Report, It is difficult to check manually for each guest. Kindly assist with this report.

  15. It would be helpful if files like Confirmations/Contracts could be added to a Block. For most blocks we have seperate contracts that need to be attached to the block on a high level like Dashboard or Block Details. Then all contracts & Documents are on the Master Block and could be easily tracked

  16. Automatic block on space prior to arrival and after departure, to ensure enough time to prepare space for the next guest. This is important for units or during peak periods, so that space isn't booked back-to-back when cleaning capacity is limited.

  17. Currently, if a guest books multiple rooms, and even if they have multiple names listed for that registration, you can only print one registration card, and that card will only have one of the room numbers on it. It would be much better to be able to print a card for each room.

  18. A guest's balance should be readily apparent at the top of their profile as soon as you click on their name on the timeline, without having to load the full profile or scroll down at all, for every type of reservation.
