  1. Accounting Ledger should show all preloaded deposits from previous system so we see the full balance of deposits in the report for audit purposes.

  2. Include the "credit card transactions" section in the new Aging Balance analytics.
    This is a handy feature to calculate your financial costs wihtin a certain period.

    If the Financial analytics will be terminated, the only way to calculate these will be manually, which is an enormous step back in time.

  4. Option to directly add the CC in the process of making a new reservation. Otherwise you need to go to the profile and add it there. It cost extra steps / clicks and also the change to forget to add the CC.

    It shout also be linked to the rate you choose -> non refundable, always ask for a CC.

  5. Let the acc. provider decide at which time the night audit shout take place.
    So it is easier for late arrival or Bars to post there revenue.

  6. Be able to restrict access to the price of the service for each additional service when the "Order only with products" option is ticked. For the moment, either all prices can be changed (Service and Products), or none. But when the receptionist adds a product and also adds an amount to the price of the service by mistake, it may create a billing issue, and so an accounting issue.

  7. In my opinion, the kiosk is not fully thought through. If it is to have the benefit of allowing guests to check themselves in and out, the following must also be possible:

    • Minibar products must be bookable by the guest independently
    • It must be possible to enter the company address when checking out.

  8. When moving an already checked-in reservation at the timeline, there should be a pop up or similar to alert you that you are moving an already checked-in reservation and if you are sure you want to do that. We have had multiple accidents when we have moved a guest who has been checked in and then later we changed some room arrangements for other same day arrivals. This is also because the color for the checked-in reservations is just slightly darker grey which is very easy to miss.

  9. La nouvelle mise à jour des facture est catastrophique ! Sur 2 pages minimum, illisible.... S'il vous plaît, nous vendons des nuits d'hôtels et des petits déjeuners.... les clients ne veulent pas se retrouver avec des factures longues et incompréhensibles... Merci d'avance pour votre aide

  10. Have the option to send a link to the payment portal without amount, so the guest can enter their credit card securely. This is especially important for reservations via phone or email.

  11. Please add the possibility on the check out kiosk to add a tip after the guest checked the bill. (before the payment). It is useless to add the tip under the "minibar" section as it is not obvious enough.

    EG:
    TOTAL stay nights: - Net - Vat- Gross
    TOTAL F&B: Net-vat gross.

  13. Be Mate part of the big brand ROOM MATE, would like to have a report showing the bookable resvices lenght time of their reservation recived.
    This is extrmely important from Sales prospective in terms of data colleting to plan future rate upsell.

  15. Dear Mews,

    Would it be possible creating an availability report, similar that you can download in excel on the dashboard, where we can see a room type with remaining number of rooms in a row under each other, top row the dates and button row the overall number of availability and occupancy? Like below example?

                           23.06        24.06
    

    Room 1 5 1
    Room2 7 1
    Availability: 12 2
    Occupancy: 70% 95%

    It would help making price decisions and knowing when to apply minimum stays or close sales.

  16. The Reservation report does not trigger the amount per night for canceled reservations it just shows the total amount.
    When exporting to Excel the report provides the amount per night under the "night" tab, however, it does not show this information when the reservations are canceled.

  17. There is a recurring need for hotels to track multiple reservations assigned to a unit. Oftentimes 2+ individuals, arriving at separate times, will each need a reservation for the same unit/dates. Sometime that nightly rate will also need to be split between these reservations.

  18. Currently Mews Analytics is extremely slow and almost impossible to use due to the following issues.
    - Data and visuals taking more than 10 min to load
    - Data that doesn't load because loading times are too high
    - Many errors
    -...

    Please optimise the Power BI integration so the analytics tabs become useable.

  19. Would be good to have possibility to send more personalised mails. For example, we organise a lot of pop up events (BBQ in summer, concerts, ...). People need to subscribe in advance.

    Would be great to be able to send these kind of mails from MEWS.
    What's differente compared to actual MEWS mail templates?
    - content is different every month
    - we should be able to choose ourselves when we do want to send this mail and when not (for example if we organise a BBQ next sunday, it should not be send to any other guests than those staying…
