This status update is part of our ongoing work to simplify and streamline how our UserVoice feedback forum operates. VIES VAT number validator
By integrating VIES to Mews, a user would be able to search for company details upon entering a European VAT number. This feature would function similarly to how the address search works, auto-filling required data while issuing invoices to help save time and ensure reliable data.

Autofocus dashboard search box
To save users from an additional click, Mews could enable autofocus on the Dashboard search bar. This would automatically focus that input to that search, meaning that while users are on the Dashboard page, users could start typing and search would begin automatically.

Possibility to fix the rate order in the reservation form
It should be possible to set the order of the rates yourself in the reservation form. At the moment it is apparently incomprehensibly coincidental.
The ordering works in the settings but not in the reservation form.
It is very annoying when you have to open the dropdown menu every time because the most booked rate is not displayed first.10 votes -
Multiple email addresses
It would be easier to have multiple email addresses per company. One for the accounting department (invoices) and one for the confirmations for example in stead of making contact persons for every company.

Export report to PDF
It is not possible to schedule reports into a PDF in de scheduled exports.
When you can have it in PDF it's easier to review the reports for us.10 votes -
Add Contract or Files to Blocks
It would be helpful if files like Confirmations/Contracts could be added to a Block. For most blocks we have seperate contracts that need to be attached to the block on a high level like Dashboard or Block Details. Then all contracts & Documents are on the Master Block and could be easily tracked

remove room number on bill
it would be helpfull if you can remove the room number from the bill. some guest expect this to be the final roomnumber while we can not guaranty it.

Note on Bookings
Every other PMS system I have used categorises Notes on bookings.
This really is a feature that needs developing In MEWS.There should be various boxes, one for Housekeeping Notes/ One for F&B notes/ Spa etc ...
These teams can then print off reports for notes just for them, without having to wade through things that are irrelevantAlso one for Public notes ( visible for Guests to see on confirmations and online Kiosks for self check in )
Private notes for Internal notes - visible only for staff & hidden from Guests.
This makes for a seamless guest journey,…

Comment section for confirmation letter
It would be nice when we send out the confirmation letters to our guests that there is a seperate section for special/important information to share with the guest. For example the exact room number or floor level for returing guests or critical information such as discount VIP status info.

Apply a discount on items on a bill
Have the ability to apply a discount on items that have been posted on a bill.

Showing dates on rooms overvooked
Often when guest book in advance we have to search all over the calendar which room are overbooked. When this happen, instead of spending time searching between 2 years, Mews could simply show which dates are overbooked so we could access it straight away

rate changes by changing date
if you want to extent a made booking, the price will automaticaly change. Also if you have fixed rates for a customer group, it changes to the daily rate, which is extremely wrong and not helpful.
