Property Operations and PMS: this is the forum for posting your ideas and comments on all aspects of hotel operations, from reservations to events to metrics and reports. You'll find a category here for each of the major topics in property management, and if you can't find the right category, please search or post to the Other category. Where we can, we'll move ideas around to group them as intuitively as possible for the product managers working on the PMS.

Please keep in mind that there is a separate forum for topics specific to the operations of hotel chains and groups. Go to the Multi-property management forum for anything about portfolio management or rate, product, package and restriction functionality across multiple properties.

  1. Products and services that are bookable during the reservation process should have a Day of Week Restriction.

    IE: Hotel wants to offer a product that is only available if a guest is going to be staying over a Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday.

    If a guest is going to be checking in Sunday and Checking out Wednesday, the product should display and be bookable.

    However, if they are checking in Wedneday & Checking out Thursday, the product should not display and be bookable as they guest wont be in house when the product is offered.

  2. We use the booker field for our paymaster indications for groups.

    It would be great if the booker would come up as a suggested customer to move the bill items to, when we move items from the bill.

    So in the move section all possible customer profiles that are attached to a reservation are listed as option.

  5. make it easy for house keeper by just giving data the check out or the stay which makes them feel more comfortable and the paper looks nice and clean as housekeepers do not need the name of the guest.
    with just room number stayover or checck out details and thats it

  6. You should be able to see any roomnights on a "£0.00" rate from the management report. You should also be able to pull a "Zero Rate" report

  7. Create an option to amend the advanced purchase discount % by day or day of week. I.e. Monday - Wed 10% off and thursday - saturday 15% and sunday 20% off

  8. Status screen, an besides of just having the time/hour the check-out was made, couldn’t there also be some other kind of indication (like C/O) that the room/bed was already checked-out too?

  9. We should be able to put filter on invoices, for example, order by date, by room number, by item, so it is easier for guests and staff to read the invoice!

  10. Enable Regeneration of a Proforma invoice without generating a new number. Sometimes you just need to generate the save Proforma to print it or resend it to a client. If you haven't saved it on your PC, you need to regenerate it and then it assigns a new number.

  11. Il pourrait être très pratique de pouvoir nommer les différentes factures d'un même clients.
    En effet certains clients peuvent vouloir une facture Extras séparée de l'hébergement, ou même dans le cas de délégation, pouvoir créer des factures afin de spliter les charges, sans avoir à rentrer dans chaque facture pour savoir ce qu'on y met dedans, et voir d'un seul coup d’œil quelle facture correspond à quelle type de charge.

  13. Can you guys separate the room number from the Booking number on the Departure screen, please. This will also help to support all those requests for HSK where I can see people have requested to show room numbers. As the departure list can be printed directly on a PDF. Thanks.

  18. end of day should not be mandatory 12pm. Some guests arrive after 12pm - will be automatically noshow on that day. Further, it is not logic to book f&b products on another day, when the main day of the event is the prior one. This distorts heavily statistics

  19. Ability to set a fixed date for invoices due.

    Ex. Invoices due on 20th of the following month.

    All invoices raised in June 2019, will be due on 20th July 2019.

    Current setting only allows for a number of days post-closing.
