Property Operations and PMS: this is the forum for posting your ideas and comments on all aspects of hotel operations, from reservations to events to metrics and reports. Where we can, we'll move ideas around to group them as intuitively as possible for the product managers working on the PMS.

  3. As a reservations agent I often receive requests via chat for extra products, services or items to be added to a room prior to a guests arrival, for example extra pillows. I would like to be able to create tasks for the correct department when a request has been made.

  4. To be able to create a combined/if restriction.
    As an example: For a full refund of the nightly rate, the guest must cancel within 48 hours of the creation of the booking AND at least 14 full days prior to the start date of the booking.
    At the moment, it is only possible to have either one of the two cancellation policies.

  5. In the reservations report, I would like to be able to group by Date (not arrival or departure date)
    I would also like to be able to group by multiple factors.
    E.g. Group by both date and by rate code

  6. Currently when a guest arrives early or leaves late, the hotels decide whether to charge such a guest extra money for the additional time spent in the room. Most properties set up special products for early CI / late CO. These products can be then posted to the bill by the receptionist. This, however, requires additional manual work.

    Early check-ins and late checkouts might be charged automatically.

    The automation could be potentially built through new product rules - if a guest spends extra time in the room thanks to early CI / late CO, specific products would be posted to…

  7. To be able to set the email address that the companies can respond to with queries for 'invoicable' companies. This email should show on the front of the email received by the company and be different to the email for queries for individual customers.

  8. Invoice status that will tell us if the invoice was sent and to which email address or for every invoice sent to the customer, copy would also be sent to selected internal email address.

  10. It is sometimes necessary to block more than one room out of order (an entire floor or entire building in the event of large scale refurbishment work, for example) and it would be helpful to be able to place multiple rooms 'out of order' at once if they all should be blocked for the same dates and same reason.

  11. Hi, there is limited "space type" to choose from, and not always describing the product.
    Could you add a option to make new "Space type" yourself, or at least add more options like cabin and lodge so it easier to keep types appart

  12. Matching the Manager report and Accounting report could be difficult as there is no option for a more granular view of the Manager report. Manager report should be expandable same as the Accounting report - have mode Grouped and Detailed so it can be drilled down to actual charges and bills.

  13. A canceled reservation still appears in the guest's navigator, would it be possible to choose which of them to permanently delete?
    I offer my guests different spaces or tariffs, they choose one, and then the others end up being canceled but they are still present in their navigator, cutting it up. I wish I was able to delete the irrelevant ones.

  15. When clicking on a specific unit, there is a section where you can see all the OOO that are scheduled for that unit and any future OOO scheduled as well. It would be nice to also be able to see what future reservations are scheduled for that unit, in the event we need to see which unit is available for an extended stay booking far out on the calendar.

  16. Move the "Move selected items" button up to be next to "Move all items" button in billing. The placement of the button right now doesn't make any sense.

  18. Since your billing enironment has changed, the button "billing and close" uses automatically the merchant!!!! As well as if we want to cjoose the button payment to avoid the mercahnd, on the top hand left of the menu, "Merchant" comes as first to be chosen... We don't use theh merchant and want an easy way to avoid it as to push it always. Thanks
