  1. It would be essential to bill and follow debtors invoices based on company profiles.
    Actually we can invoice a company but the invoice stay on client profile, for debtors management it would be easier that the invoice appears on company profile. We are force to create a client profile for the company and move the items on it, which is redundant.

  2. Action log of the reservations should also include a date/time when guest modified their marketing preferences (accepting or not to receive marketing emails).

  3. Dear colleagues,

    At this moment we can assign employees to the room but we can not cancel, it is only possible to override.

    It generous few problems:
    - in the next day room is still assigned to the same employee, a filter of the unassigned room is useless
    - everyday assignments must be made very carefully, checking when the room has been assigned, yesterday or today
    - it is not possible to make a report of an assigned room from the past, the system shows the only current assigned

  4. Showing a subtotal of the items of one POS booking when you have an invoice containing several POS bookings.

    Problem
    When you print your invoices with a detailed description of the POS booking including all the items, you don’t see the subtotal when you have one or more POS bookings on one invoice. If there is a long invoice and you need to know how much one specific POS booking was, you need to calculate manually how much it is.

    Solution
    Our problem would be solved if subtotals can be added to the invoice per POS booking.

  5. sometimes you need to alert more than one department and/or people of the same task.
    would be handy if you had the opportunity to chose more than one department for the task, or be able to copy it, rather than having to type it all again.

  6. I would like to set a "Minimum advance reservation" restriction 4 hours before midnight (8 pm). Then customers cannot reserve online after 8 pm for reservations on that day of arrival. Our reception closes at 9 pm. This way our reception has at least 1 hour to help guests with information (digital keys, night safe) for a late arrival.

  7. Every day we have to sort all cars in our garage by numbers, to check if all is booked.
    With the guest report we can sort them but only ordering by room or guest. It would be very helpful to sort them by car registration number.
    By exporting in Excel it is possible, but then you have to look for every room-number in MEWS.

  9. The stay at the billing needs to be breaked down to each night.
    It is not clear for the guest if it says 1x350,00 € and the stay was for 4 nights.
    As well the price per day is different often so it needs to be cleared.

  10. Possibility to add notes without changing the room status is missing and necessary.

    P.a. if DND (do not disturb) or white card (when guest changes cleaning against free drink at bar) housekeeping needs to add the note to the status "dirty".

    At the moment you can only add notes when the status is changed.

  12. In a previous system we were able to set up templates for a task which consisted of multiple individual tasks.
    For example if a guest had requested an extra bed, reservations would add one task to the booking which in turn triggered the tasks for housekeeping to set up the bed as well as remove it on departure).
    This was SO handy as it avoided mistakes and reception / reservations only had to add 1 task.
    Of course this works particularly well if you are able to link tasks to a specific event in the reservation like arrival and departure…

  14. at the moment when one guest has multiple bookings (i.e. coming for one day every week), the bill at the top of the screen is the one with the furthest arrival date.
    that doesn't make sense.
    the most recent date should be at the top and those days further in the future at the bottom of the screen.
    it is too easy to make mistakes now with creating invoices or taking payments for the wrong date / week / stay

  15. Right now, it is only possible to make a room move for an in-house guest when the room that you are planning to use hasn't been used during the time that that guest was staying. And this is very inconvenient when the guest that we are trying to move is a long-stayer. For example:

    Mr Smith has been staying from the 1/3 until 20/3.
    On the 15/3 I need to move him to room #219.
    In order for the system to allow me to do it, room #219 should have been empty since 1/3. So, if #219 was only used…

  16. At the moment, when you need to allocate the rooms for the arrivals of the day, the display bar shows you ALL the rooms, even those that are out of service, occupied, or reserved. Which doesn't make any sense because there is way too much scrolling up and down to find a "vacant inspected room"

  17. Our accounting ledger, with the hostel closing and a lot of cancellations, is overloaded with negative outstanding amounts.
    We have seen with the MEWS team that as soon as we have a cancellation, the late cancellation turnover is posted automatically without us being able to do anything.
    In this case, is it possible to ensure that the negative and positive outstandings are filtered out?
    The goal is to show the user directly what he wants to see, so to add the filter in the options on the side.

    Rate group is prepaid with settlement trigger at confirmation. If settlement fails then booking is canceled with the reason: payment failed.

  19. It would be really helpful if we could customise the reservation purpose drop down to add our own purposes and to then be able to report of those for example we have emergency stays and end of life etc and to be able to record this as the reservation purpose would be a huge help.

  20. It would be great if you had the option to not only update a task when opening it, but also to close it from that same window. Now you need to update it, close the task and then only are you able to complete it from the list (task list or within the reservation).
    would save time if you had that close button within the task (so both update and complete/close)
