  1. Update Timing Kiosk App: it would be very helpful to have a way of being able to determine the period in which the kiosk app receives its update? Since we have been using the app, it has repeatedly happened that the app receives an update just when guests have arrived and are waiting to be checked in. The update takes time which the guests do not have. So maybe it would be an idea to design it so that we as users of the app can decide when to download the current update - after we have received a message…

  2. Give the right "view Mailreport" to staff, that aren´t admins! Even better, show in the reservations which emails were sent and wether they

  3. Currently we create guests' Unique IDentifiers' (UIDs) from email addresses and it works great in most cases, however this is a flawed approach as email is not a required data point, and if a guest does not use one this effects duplicate guest profiles in MEWS (once the guest returns to the property for another stay). Properties then have to merge these profiles, losing time, and reporting accuracy.

    In my opinion this is not good user experience, is inefficient and requires a more elegant solution.

    We could for instance generate them from: Name + Surname + Street name instead.

  4. We are using the automatic room assignment option from Top to Bottom but it would be great to be able to customize the order of rooms. As many others have mentioned there are rooms that properties would rather rent last for many reasons and would be ideal to prioritize them as last assigned regardless of the room number.

  5. As a customer I would like to see the price of the stay in the details of the reservation, instead of having to go back to the email to look for it.

    Hi!
    before we can enable showing the price in Navigator guest portal we need to automatically route the charges to the correct bill: https://feedback.mews.com/forums/918232/suggestions/36659050. That’s mainly because for some kind of reservations guests shouldn’t see the final price (OTA collects payment, the company pays for guest). Once the prerequisite is done, we can have a look to this one. :-)

  7. A report which sums up the total spending per guest would be useful for loyalty programs. At this point it's only possible to see a total spending by checking profile per profile.

  9. The hotel has integration with a loyalty program. It would be useful, if the reservation could be found by the loyalty number.

  12. INDIVIDUAL REGISTRATION FORMS WITHOUT ANY COMPLICATIONS:

    Would be quicker & easire if when creating a new booking for a return guest, who has checked out then checked back in on the same day, but 2 different bookings.

  16. Online check-in is a great tool for properties and customers alike, which is continually expanding to include more interactive options for your guests. With one expansion, group reservations members could view all the spaces available for their booking and choose from that list to customize their experience.

    We have to put this back to the backlog as we are working to improve the corporate segment (company profile).

  20. When a guest enters their preferred email address during online check-in, if that email address is already assigned to an existing profile, Mews does not merge the profiles, but instead adds the email address to the profile that is performing online check-in, so that staff can choose to merge them later.

    It would be really useful it Mews could automatically create a task when this happens so that staff can be alerted to there being potentially mergeable profiles.
