  2. Products is not always appropriate as an extra that is offered when booking. I would like to be able to modify Products to Experiences in my case but others may find another term more suitable.

  3. In order to have an immediate comparison on both of the names (reservation and CC cardholder) that would allow the perception of eventual discrepancies and/or fraud tentative that could cause Charge-backs.

  4. If the reservation is for 10 people, once they enter the passport information af all the adults, they can create 10 keys for the apartment. We would like you to introduce an option in Mews where the hotel manager could limit the number of keys that the client can cut at the kiosk.

  7. I’m traveling & staying only in Mews properties. My memory is not that great and would be amazing to see the hotel address and quick link to maps as well as after check-in show my space number. Would appreciate it as Mews hotels’ guest!

    Hi Mewsers!
    Thanks for the idea and voting.
    Some while ago we actually released the property address together with link to Google Maps to Navigator – guest can find it in Reservation details section.

    He can also download Apple Wallet to his iPhone/iWatch (iOS feature only) where he can find this info together with his reservation details. It’s very handy as it gets downloaded to his phone. If you want to provide such a feature to guests add Apple Wallet placeholder to your emails. You can find the placeholder and instructions how to add it in our guide: https://help.mews.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001840877-Set-up-emails

    As space number is not displayed in Navigator yet, let me edit the name of this idea.

  8. For ecommerce linking in Google Analytics - currently sending a Client ID in the URL does not work as per https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/collection/analyticsjs/cross-domain

    It appears that linker is not working either (as per https://support.google.com/tagmanager/answer/7549390?hl=en) with a new Client ID always generated when going from client domain to mews.li to carry out an online booking.

    This means session data (such as traffic source) is lost and we cannot attribute revenue to the correct channels.

  9. Add the measurement of a room type as a field into the Space Categories.

    This information is provided on OTA's to increase conversion on more expensive room types, but is not part of our Distributor (or Space Categories in the Commander).

  11. In Holland we have surnames with something in front of it. For example Anna van der Ploeg. Surname is Anna, Familyname is van der Ploeg. Alphabetically it has to with P of Ploeg, because van der is just a insertion in front of the name.

  17. We can use a tablet where the guests would enter their contact details and that would automatically get transferred to Mews guests profile - without the full self check-in process.

  18. We need the option to block specific rate codes from being eligible for self check-in via the kiosk. Some rates require guests to check in at the reception in order to present valid identification and/or to pay using specific payment methods that are not supported by the kiosk

  19. In today’s digital era, isn’t it time we rethink and expand the ways we communicate with our guests?

    Relying solely on traditional channels like email and telephone may no longer align with how many travellers prefer to connect. From WeChat and Messenger to WhatsApp and other instant messaging platforms, guests increasingly expect to interact with hotels in the same seamless, real-time manner they use in their everyday lives.

    If we truly aim to be guest-centric, we must meet them where they are, and not where we’re used to being.

  20. Kiosk check-in for grouped reservations sends Check in summary email only to the reservation owner for all checked in rooms/guests in the group, even when additional guest create separate guest profiles while checking in on kiosk.
    It would be great to send Check in summary email to the each guest profile created on kiosk during online/kiosk check in.
