Redesign the UI of booking engine
The design of the booking engine in MEWS feels somewhat outdated, and it would be great if the MEWS design team could suggest a more modern appearance. It’s a shame that the hotel’s logo at the top left is so small.

Show service promotion descriptions in the Booking Engine
The Booking Engine currently shows only the name, image, and price of a service promotion. The description entered in the service settings (e.g., for parking) is not displayed to guests. Please enable service promotion descriptions to appear directly in the “Enhance your stay” section of the booking page.

Shortened URLs for sharing booking links
It would be really useful to have an option to shorten booking links directly within the platform, without having to rely on external websites like bit.ly or others. Currently, the booking link in Mews can get very long, which isn't ideal for sharing.
I think this addition would improve the user experience, making it more efficient and streamlined.

Apply Voucher Codes to Service Promotions in the IBE

Currently, Mews does not support applying voucher codes to service promotions linked to a stay service in the Internet Booking Engine (IBE). While vouchers work correctly for standalone bookable services (e.g., parking rates), they are ignored when the same service is added as a service promotion to a stay service.Use Case:

Task creation - Upsells section
The new Upsells section released in December 2025 could benefit from clearer information. Currently, if the Online booking touchpoint is enabled for an upsell and an automatic task is also enabled, the task is not created as expected.
Support has advised that automatic tasks currently only apply to kiosk check-ins, not when a guest adds an upsell via the online booking engine. This isn’t obvious from the current setup and can easily lead to confusion.

Add Address as fields to Booking Engine
When booking through the Booking Engine, guests are not asked for their address, this only happens when they perform the check-in online.
Please request it when booking through the Booking Engine so that we don't need to register address at physical check-in.

Show availibility even if there is a stay length restriction
Currently the News Booking engine will show NO availivility for a full month when you click a date on a calendar that has no availability and a two night stay restriction.This is very misleading for someone trying to book as it show the full month is booked. Mews needs to fix this.

Automatic task when specific rate is booked
We have benefits connected to specific rates. It would be helpful if, when these rates are booked, a task automatically appears so we always remember to provide these benefits to the guests.

No repetition of information
Do not ask for data that is already known (e.g., from a previous step or URL parameters). This also applies to the selected dates.

Context-aware flow in the booking engine
From the package page → package preselected in the booking module, going directly to room selection. In this flow, the package comes before choosing a room type.
If someone selects a package with limited availability (such as the Easter package), it is important that this can be passed along so that a visitor can only select the valid dates for that package from the main domain.
From the room page → room preselected, with packages prominently displayed as optional add-ons (possibly in a separate step). At the moment, the packages are somewhat hidden.

Remplacer "Vous allez payer" (faux) par "Total de votre réservation" (vrai)
Sur l'interface de saisie des informations de carte bancaire il faut remplacer "Vous allez payer" par "Total de votre réservation" parce beaucoup d'hôtels ne demandent pas le paiement immédiat de la réservation.

Link Vouchers to Specific Booking Engine Configurations
When creating vouchers, the “Booking engine URL” link on the voucher detail page always redirects to the property’s default Booking Engine configuration. For properties using multiple Booking Engines (e.g., one with rate comparison enabled and one without, or different configurations), it would be extremely helpful to have the ability to link a voucher to a specific Booking Engine configuration. This would allow more precise control over the guest experience

We offer a special 28 days rate. However based on the booking engine capabilities, this 28 day rate only shows up when someone looks to book for exactly 28 days. We need something on the booking engine that allows for a contextual note when someone searches, for example, 15 days, that there is a better price if you book 28 days

Customize the product order in the booking engine
I wanted to highlight the importance of being able to customize the order of products in the booking engine. When you have a large number of listings, it should be possible to manually choose which products appear at the top and are therefore shown to guests first.
This would be a valuable feature for properties that want to prioritize certain products

Booking Engine: Reduce Cart Abandonment by Shortening the Booking Journey
Current Flow >> Guests go through multiple steps:
""Dates → Room Selection → Rates + Upsell → Summary → Details → Payment Confirmation""
*Extra Pages create more opportunities for guests to drop off.
*For example, the Summary page seems to act as an extra confirmation step before entering guest details and payment.
*Fewer clicks and transitions mean less friction and fewer chances for abandonment.

It would be a great idea to implement a “+ / –” button in the Mews Booking Engine, allowing guests to select the desired quantity of certain products.
At the moment, products such as “baby cot”, “gym access”, or “room upgrade” are usually added as one unit, which makes perfect sense. However, for other types of products like soft drinks, mineral water, or snacks, the system still defaults to one unit, even though guests may want to purchase multiple quantities (e.g., 7 cans of Coca-Cola and 6 bottles of mineral water).

Reservation with option dates
Wenn wir potentiellen Gästen mehrere Zimmer offerieren wollen, wäre es cool, dass jedes Zimmer im E-Mail einzeln gebucht werden kann. Also das man entscheiden will ob es ein Gast ist mit einem Zimmer aber er möchte verschiedene Zimmeroptionen, oder ob es eine Anfrage ist mit mehreren Zimmern, welche dann alle bestätigt werden (so ist es im Moment). Es wäre sehr Hilfreich, damit der Gast nicht 4-5 verschiedene E-Mails erhält und direkt buchen kann, wenn ihm eine Zimmerkategorie gefällt.

Allow promo codes on multiple rate groups
In the booking engine we are offering the promo code option for direct bookers to receive instant discount. However this is only possible on 1 rate group, leading to stacked OTA (member) offers sometimes being more favorable.
It would be great if we can develop a way to link 1 promo code to 2 rate groups to prevent this from happening
