  1. It would be amazing if an invoice cannot be made if and when the billing details are not completed in the company profile. Now the employee from reservations already grants the 'invoiceable' privilage to a company so that the receptionist know they dont have to take deposit payment at check-in. however at check-out it is still required to complete the billing details, but then the invoice is already closed (as it is possible) and as it is not correctly checked, only with the invoicing check (sometimes days later) it is found that the billing details are missing.

  2. Request to increase the Reservation Group Size. The current reservation group size of 500 reservations is not sufficient and is creating operational issues for large-size Hotel Venues.

  3. I would be helpful, if the housekeeping could see stay products which could for example be a fruit basket or pralines in the room.
    We have some rates for Specials that require a certain preparation from the housekeeping. Therefore it would be helpful, if the houseekeeping team could see the products and rates in their app.

  4. When splitting a booking, it creates a new booking, and pick ups in any RMS. Please don't consider a booking as a new received booking, as it false pick up and data.

  6. think there is an issue with the system as normally you are able to see the drop down window. now it seems to be hidden behind the availability window underneath. please look into this urgently as it creates more work with having to add this after the booking has been made.
    PS - even on the next screen where there is no other window underneath are you able to see the bookers names!
    PS2 - NOWHERE are you able to see the bookers names, not even in the reservation itself - madness!!!

    Thank you for sharing your feedback with us.


    We are currently looking into this issue, and would like to know a few more details, would you be able to ket us know if you are currently using Mews on Mobile or desktop as well as the browser you are using?


    It is currently possible to view booker names on the reservation module, the booker name appears on the right hand side of the reservation module under the "Status" section.

  7. We have rooms that need more time to be cleaned, which is why we have to block them for the night after the guests check out. It would be great if the system could do that automatically as soon as those rooms have been booked. As for now, we need to block the rooms manually everytime it is booked...

  8. When I enter a block pattern (example: 4-7-5-5-3) the system makes me pick the rooms up as if I have 4 rooms staying for one night, then 7 rooms staying for one night, then 5 rooms staying for 2 nights etc. instead of staggered arrivals with different lengths of stay like blocks typically are. Can that be changed?

    Thank you for your suggestion. Availability blocks in Mews allow for availability to be adjusted per space category per day as you have described above. When availability is adjusted, a set number of spaces are removed from public availability per day. 


    It is possible to support staggered arrival dates within an availability block, however the arrival dates are limited within the contractual constraints agreed upon i.e the number of spaces made available per day. 


    Based on your example above, it appears that you are referring to run of house reservations. Is that the case?

  9. It would be great if we can set a relative adjustment for a period and not set for the complete system. Meaning rates of 2022 and 2023 are different, meaning a different relative adjustment. However, I now have to adjust it manually in the booking as this feature is not there.

  10. it would be really practical if we were able to set pricing/rates for the whole year instead of having to select a period of only a few weeks. Would save a lot of time.
    Right now mews only accepts the pricing for the initially selected period, regardless of the dates chosen in the smaller pricing tab.

  11. Mit Eurem Report "Guest-In-House" hab ich leider ziemlich Zeitaufwand, da ich für unsere Etagenfrauen alles manuell ankreuzen muss, welche Zimmer zu reinigen sind und für den Frühstücksservice ankreuzen muss, welche Gäste abreisen oder inhouse Frühstücken kommen, da dieser Report die Zimmer durchmischt nach An-Abreise und Bleibende aufgeführt.
    Uebersichtlicher wäre ein Report wo alle Anreisen, alle Abreisen und alle Bleibenden Gäste auf einem Report unterteilt aufgeführt sind, so wie ich das von base7 kenne. Ich bin überrascht, das so ein Report bei Mews nicht existiert und das erschwert uns erheblich das Arbeiten!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  12. Currently only manually added notes are shown in the reservations overview report. Please add the functionality that also the notes are shown that came with channel manager reservations.

    I was adviced to manually add the same note from the channel manager which unnecessary and error prone work not to be done manually. This should work automatically.

  13. In den Benachrichtigungen, wäre es super hilfreich, wenn nicht nur "neue Bestellung erzeugt" stehen würde, sondern zB. "Neue Distributor Buchung Anreise heute", oder "Neue Booking.com Buchung Anreise 02.05.22"

    Zusätzlich wäre auch ein Logo anstatt des grauen Kreises sinnvoll.

  14. It would great to be able to see a report on products, to see how there are booked. In upselling on the OCI, it would be nice to see if people are adding products to their stay during this process, in-order to see if its working or not.

  15. Properties would like to have an Upsell Report that shows when a room is upsold and if there was incremental revenue or change of rate. Would like to see original rate and new rate on the report. Front Desk has incentive programs based upon number of Upsell and would like to be able to track this in Mews by User.

  16. It would be helpfull to see in the reservation summery how many double use and single users are in the booking. Especially in group bookings, you need to count every time when the client adjust the number and forwards the namelist.

  17. I understand there is a function in MEWS to automate the deposits for new reservations. Is there a way to exclude restricted rates from this automated process?

    The rates we need to exclude are:
    -OTAs (Expedia, booking.com, airbnb)
    -AutoCamp Summit Club
    -AutoCamp Explorer Club
    -Any GRP rate

  18. There are often double charges (merchant is selected, when payment has already been done with terminal). I would therefor like to see a WARNING/NOTIFICATION when you select merchant (e.g. are you sure you would like to charge the creditcard by Merchant / Are you sure that guest has not yet paid with terminal). If you select payment by card, you are automatically on the merchant tab, can it not be default terminal tab ? This to avoid double payments and chargeback issues. Thanks !

  20. we have several rates with the same name as we use them for different lengths of stay (i.e. corporate rate). we do not wish to display the minimum stay restrictions in the rate name itself.
    however, when creating a new rate which is linked to the base rate (i.e. you get 28% discount for stays of 7 nights), it only displays the full name. this is really annoying as you don't always know which one to pick.
    so it would be much more beneficial if you could pick the base rate on the short name (they are all individual like…
