Sustainable integrations and native imports
Being able to integrate/import more details into mews.
When looking to the future our demand for accurate and immediate reporting becomes ever bigger. having MEWS as the central HUB for everything would be nice. Lead-in time and configuration for product upselling
There is already a suggestion for having a inventory for stay products. Now that the products can be booked by the customer during the booking flow and online check-in, it would be interesting to have more configuration options for upsell products. Right now, it is very limited. Certain products need to be prepared or ordered on request. There should be a deadline of choice. For example: booking a bouquet of flowers can only be added 48 hours before arrival. Otherwise we can't order the flowers anymore. Balance check when using browser
The Kiosk can be configured so that guests cannot check in with an outstanding balance, but this is not available in the main browser-based Mews. This means a user can check in a guest that has an outstanding balance, without Mews even asking them to confirm.
It would be very useful if there were options to not allow a guest to check in with an outstanding balance at all, as well as Mews asking to confirm if the user wants to proceed with checking in with an outstanding balance. This will remove the likelihood of a guest checking in, staying…

Hide dedicated OTA mapping rate categories from the reservation screen when only the external channel manager (Like Cubilis from Stardekk for example) has a use of them

Remove deleted products from reports
Small one, but can we remove the deleted products from all product reports, this would make it easier for our operations team to pull reports and schedule them.
Really it's about giving our teams the cleanest data possible, I know they can select or deselect the products – we have a lot of products that were created whilst we were setting up the property, that we really don't need.. and whilst they are deleted – they show up in this report.
As there aren't any other key filters (eg Product Group) it's just messy and difficult for the operational team…2 votes -
Be able to issue bill with avrage nightly rate
When issuing an invoice, it would make sense to be able to issue the invoice with the avrage nightly breakdown opposed to the actually nightly breakdown.
For those working with dynamic pricing, the guest can recive a bill/invoice with each night a different price, but upon booking the booking engine breaks it down to an avrage rate leaving the guest confused.
It is great it does this in the booking engine, but not ideal when issuing a bill.

Reservation Report for specific days of the week
It would be great to be able to pull a report to see figures for the past 3 months of Sundays only for example. Currently you can only pull a report for a set date range, not just set days.

I'd like to only allow some of my team members to sign in while on property
If there was an option to only allow sign-ons from specific IP addresses, that would solve this for me.
Open to other options if they exist.

Create option to allocate reservations based on revenue
Provide functionality for auto-allocation of bookings to units, in order to spread revenue income evenly across owners. Rather than Top-Down, Bottom-Up, or Random, taking prior YTD revenue consumed by unit in to account would help spread revenue evenly and keep owners happy (particularly w/ Condo-Hotel types where individuals own specific units and put them in rental pools)

Use notes for multiple services
Can you please make it possible to use notes across multiple services?
Current situation: Notes can only be used on multiple rooms/parking of the same service. If you want to use the same notes for both a room and a car park, you have to enter them twice.
Desired situation: It should be possible to add and update notes for several services at once (using the checkboxes).

Allow dynamic consumption of F&B component within package
When creating a guest rate of room & food/drink, the later should be consumed on posting from the EPoS system (assuming it is interfaced).
Say we have a rate of $100 of which $70 goes to room and $30 is an allowance in the restuarant. The guest should be allowed to consume whatever they choose in teh restaurant and simply post to their room. At the end of the day, Mews should deduct the lesser of that $30 or their meal from what was posted to teh room. In the event they spend more, they pay the difference at checkout.…

Be Mate part of the big brand ROOM MATE, would like to have a report showing the bookable resvices lenght time of their reservation recived.

Availability report at a glance
Dear Mews,
Would it be possible creating an availability report, similar that you can download in excel on the dashboard, where we can see a room type with remaining number of rooms in a row under each other, top row the dates and button row the overall number of availability and occupancy? Like below example?

extra bed in item to be added automatically when the room is booked for 3.
Although we put in rate and room description that for the 3rd guest, extra £25 will be added for the extra bed, any prepaid rate plans debit the guest for the whole stay excluding the extra bed £25 per night. As a result, some guests refuse to pay the extra amount after having been debited.2 votes
