Saving confirmations longer than 3 month
Confirmation emails should be saved in the guest profile until for at least two weeks after departure, preferably four weeks or longer.
Normaly it should be saved for 10 years after departure, because it is a part of the contract —or, more accurately, they are the contract— and it has a 10-year retention requirement.Delete 3 month after sending is quite to early.

Cancel bookable service together with room reservation
Besides the stay service we work with parking and bicycles. For example if the guests books a room including car park, the parking spot will be added as a "parking" service and gets assigned a unique reservation number.
The problem that occurs now is that the room and parking are not linked together; meaning that when the room gets cancelled or amended, the parking spot will stay as it is and will need to be cancelled or amended manually.
We are looking for a way to link the two types of spaces together.

Automatically suggest also emails of associated profiles when sending bill/invoice via email
Currently, when sending an invoice/bill via email for a company owned bill only the company’s invoicing email is automatically suggested as a recipient. However, most of the time the guest (associate profile) should receive the bill as they have to file it with their travel management to get reimbursed.
Hence, the email of the guest needs to be retrieved manually each time from the guest profile and copied back into the send bill/invoice form. This delays the checkout process unnecessarily!
Suggestion: automatically suggest the associated profile’s email as a potential recipient in addition to the bill owner’s email when sending…17 votes -

Excel Group Upload by Room Number Vs. by room category
When uploading Group blocks with excel, the system assigns rooms based on Room category, it would be beneficial to assign based on room numbers rather than room category

It would be super handy if we could add the routing rule directly from the company profile instead of creating the company and then setting up the routing rule.

Package with Items on specific nights
They is a example of the request of the customer. This functionality is available in Hotello and customers is looking to have the same in Mews. There is some examples:
Example 1: I have a package for 3 nights:
Night 1: Diner
Night 2: Breakfast, lunch (apply after midnight per day per person) and diner
Night 3: breakfast and lunch (apply after midnight per day per person)
The problem right now is all items applied every night. In Hotello, they was able to select in the configuration with specific night the product should appliesExample 2:

Dynamic product rules - Base product rule on own criteria
Product rules should be possible to adapt based on arrival, origin, segment, rate, space etc. This allows us to automize specific charges and better work on upselling and creating new revenue streams!

Show Rate details (rate name, cancellation..) in quotation mail for more than 5 rooms
In quotation mails for 1-5 rooms the guest/booker can see rate details (name, conditions..) but for more than 5 rooms the rate details (cancellation, payment...) are not displayed, therefore we have to send group offers for more than 5 rooms manually to show cancellation and payment conditions.

los restrictions on rooms
A tick box on space types when setting los restrictions, at the minute you have to do every date individually, along with every space, so if you have 17 space types, and want a los on Saturday nights, you have to set the restriction 17 times for 1 day, 884 restrictions just for Saturdays, would be much easier if you could select the space via a tick box, at the minute if you do a generic restriction, you cant undo just one space.

Add company invoicing address to Swiss QR IBAN invoice information
Thank you for the Swiss QR IBAN integration. We need a small change for it because some bank are refusing to accept payments as long es the address of the company is not correct.
So we would love to get the correct company invoicing address in the QR information on the invoice and not the physical address as it is today.
(And having an Mews intergrated accounting tool which creates the necessary QR IBAN reference codes would be even more perfect!)17 votes -

Allow the choice to put "Package" on the bill or a rate with products attached
It is important to differentiate between a package and a singular rate on a bill (without products). The problem is that In hospitality a “package” has a different meaning. It means a rate that includes a specific group of products which is inseparable of the rate. (a Spa package, a Honeymoon package, etc). Allowing the choice to either have the rate + products or a package option should solve this.

Optimize Space Allocation only for certain space categories
A way to only use the Optimize Space Allocation on a selection or Rooms. Specific room types or a selection of any. Locking and unlocking half of the rooms which can't be moved multiple times a week is quite a hassle.

Pro-forma invoice is not translated
The text (headers, column names) of the pro-forma invoice are not translated in French. The name of the VALUE columns is missing: VAT rate, amount excluding VAT, VAT, amount including VAT, etc.

Aplly different rates for each day as per revenue management rules
It is compulsory to be able to apply different rates and the same reservation for each day, otherwise it is not possible to have a correct report with the right ADR each day. I have thought that this would be possible on MEWS. I am a little suprise that this is not possible.
