  2. Reports contain a lot of information, which can sometimes be difficult to read through. In order to simplify and improve your report viewing experience, we could enable an excel-like sorting feature so that you can use headers on each column to organize the report data in ascending or descending orders.

  3. Can you make new "last minute" arrivals for today more visible on the arrivals list?

    • Arrivals made between yesterday 00:00 and today are not easy to see unless you check the reservation report, which is not user friendly in a fast pace environment.
    • Can they be marked in the system with a symbol or color or notification (or in any other way) for us to be notified on the day?

  4. Dear Mews forum managers,

    I've been on the forum for a while now and have a few suggestions for improvements.

    It would be nice if:
    *the results could be filtered according to completed, rejected, open. at the moment you have to fight your way through various articles that make no sense to read
    *if you could also filter the search, e.g. all words must be included etc.
    *if your entries were moderated so that similar ideas were grouped together
    *if there was feedback on entries that have really received a lot of votes and yet are obviously not implemented

  5. Good afternoon team mews
    In the bill when you click on either go to preview or invoice gives us the option to create the invoice or preview the invoice from there to print it gives us 4 options of how we want to print the bill.
    Is there a way to add a new template where the consumption per cheche are the totals as something informative?

    Currently the mews invoice when creating it gives us the total of all the consumption of all checks and on many occasions the guest asks to know how much was consumed in each check…

  6. When generating the reservation report using the parameters in the drop-down lists, why can't we tick several items (like it's possible for the segments), but for all ? e.g. room categories or rates or nationalities or countries etc ?

  7. It is absolutely necessary to have separate note categories for different departments. Reservations notes are often cluttered with automatic comments from OTAs and those are shown to housekeeping, too. It cannot be expected from housekeeping staff to weed through a sea of notes to find the relevant information for each room. This must be a separate note cetegory where reservation or front office can enter only a short comment for housekeeping (like "baby cot" or "allergy friendly blankets") - this field should be displayed in the app for HK and/or the housekeeping report.

  8. Creating a button where you can easily mark if a group can be invoiced on 1 bill - or if the rooms in the group will pay all separately. Right now all items of all bills have to be moved individually to 1 main bill. Having a button to make these changes with 1 click would save a lot of time!

  9. Why do you have a housekeeping app where you still need to pull a manual report for all the details? Can we have the fields in the housekeeping report added to the app so you can see how the rooms need to be set up for the next guest in terms of guest notes and the number of occupancies from a family of 4 to 2 people in the room, then help assist if the sofa bed would need to be put away.

  10. Now when booking in a house use room it is set to one specific room.
    Could it be possible to make a house use room behave as a "regular" reservation in which changing and locking rooms would be possible?

  11. When we create a new rate in the Channel Manager, it would be best practice if we could only send that rate to the channel manager and not all the rates that we have in the channel manager as how is today. Of cause, we need to have a "full property push" available, but the option to push just the newly created rate would be the best in a day-to-day basis. Then the data that we send out is going to be much less.

  13. It will be great if you could post and close a partial settlement for a debtor. That means that you can deduct automatically this payment and eventually issue invoice again in debtor.

  14. Ich möchte, dass man über die Funktion "House Use" mehrere Zimmer in einem Schlag wählen kann. Somit könnte man zum Beispiel vielen Zimmer vor Ankunft einer Gruppe am Vorabend blockieren (es ist nur eine Beispiel)

  15. Availability blocks currently only allow the option to enter 1 specific rate for a block. Since we operate with different rates based on roomtypes, and a group often combines roomtypes, it would be great being able to select multiple rates.
    Also offering a group to book online with a discount based on public rates, it would be good to be able to offer them both a discounted flexible rate and a discounted non-refundable rate.

  16. The room number tab column in the rooming list should be customisable as we have many operational issues with the room numbers appearing on it and clients expecting to have those rooms when they check in. We should be able to remove this column if not relevant.

  17. Show check in and check out dates in the principal screen of Accounting ledger. So you can see if the reservation that needs to be resolved is past, in house or future, without going inside any booking.
    Or sort out the list by check out date instead of by surname.

  19. Would it be possible to display the number of nights stayed both on the reservations details and the invoice. when invoicing nightly charges as a package, you see the dates but not the number of nights invoiced

  20. Message visibility

    Customer Messages should be attached directly to the customer profile, so that all hotel staff can easily access/read/react to the conversation.

    In that way, only unread messages would appear in the general customer message board and that would clear the clutter.
    There could even be a message icon on every reservation badge, so that the staff can access customer-hotel conversations directly.
