Idea for group summary
Would be helpful to have a feature for the group summary, that shows how many adults + childen are in the group. Now it shows only total amount of people.

Rooming list: add age category column for group reservations
Issue Description
In group reservations, the rooming list template does not indicate which rooms include children or infants. All rooms appear identical in the Excel file, even when only some rooms are booked as adults + children.
For large groups (100–400 rooms), this makes it very difficult to know where to enter children data without manual cross-checks.
Request
Please add a pre-filled column in the rooming list showing the age category / classification (e.g. Adult, Child, Infant) per room or per guest.
This would allow hotels to clearly identify rooms with minors and correctly complete the rooming list.18 votes -
Get updates on existing support cases via the digital assistant
It would be very useful if you could view the status of an existing support case (e.g. see if it's been looked at, actioned, etc.) via the digital assistant. Currently once a case is submitted via the digital assistant, I'm not aware of a way to contact support without creating another case via the digital assistant. If you email [email protected] the automated reply says emails cannot be responded to directly, and creates another case.
It would be much simpler if you could give your case number to the digital assistant to get a link to a summary page. Also, it…

When a reservation is created we have limited options to choose as the origin of the booking. We would like to have the option to customize these options ourselves to have a better overview of where the bookings come from.

Availability Block - Build Rooming List Feature
Allow group managers and reservation managers to add rooming list to availability blocks. Just add the Rooming List feature that is in the guest reservation under groups to the availability block.

Availability and Occupancy report - All information in one screen
In my opinion it would better to view all information in one screen and avoid going to second screen. Thus we do not have to click multiple times to check availability status for each day rather we can have the full overview in one scree. Please add each space category and it's availability also in the first window / overview.

Rooming list - possibility to customise/remove columns: remove room numbers
The room number tab column in the rooming list should be customisable as we have many operational issues with the room numbers appearing on it and clients expecting to have those rooms when they check in. We should be able to remove this column if not relevant.

Message
In the Messages (Chat with Guest) it would be very useful to at least display the Room Number (Apartment ID) of the Guest after or before his Name...
We always need to go back to timeline to find this info while chatting with the guest... very annoying and almost impossible with app on smartphone.

Inbuilt Charge-back/Credit Card Authority Forms
An option to send a credit card authority form (charge-back form) that is linked directly to booking.
This could be similar to a payment request, but would not charge the card the receiver inputs until date of booking? How do other Hotels send people charge-back forms currently? sending them independently from Mews feels disjointed, as we need to email them to guest, have them fill out and return to us, then we input payment details into Mews manually.18 votesHello from the Mews product team. Reservation Dashboard - add invoice amount on the bill section
On the Reservation dashboard all invoices are listed. For invoices it would be great if the amount issues can be shown on the bill section. At the moment we need to write them in the notes.
Additionally it would be great if we can have a button to extract all postings for this reservations. When invoices have been corrected, its very hard to see what happens on every single day of consumption. 4 Last CC Digits to be shown on the side of "Charge and Close" button in billing
To verify with guest if this is the right card to be charged, show the last digits of the CC on the side of the CC Type Icon near "Charge and Close". This would avoid mistakes and this is also a LQA Standard (Leading Quality Assurance), which is one of the highest and most used hospitality standards.

Flexible rooms: from 4-pers easily to 2-pers room & other way around
We have two 4-persons private rooms. During the week, we have more request for 2-pers rooms. Is the following possible:
Making a room 1a and 1b. Room 1a is e.g. the 4-pers room, 1b is the 2-pers room. If room 1a is booked, that room 1b will automatically be closed and the other way around. So the price for room 1a is based on 4-persons and the price of room 1b is based on 2-persons. Extra bed to be added after rate calculated from base rate.
Our flexi rate is +20% of our base rate. So when guest adds an extra bed for 1000 they get charged 1200 for the extra bed with a fexible rate.
We dont want this we only want to charge 1000.
So we cant use this feature and have to use extra bed as a product which in itself leads to other issues.18 votes -

Set minimum capacity for space
Each space category is specified with a maximum capacity setting to prevent too many guests and ensure that every companion is accommodated comfortably. In addition to maximum capacity, a setting to define a minimum capacity could also be beneficial for some properties that would like to reserve specific space categories for groups of a certain size.
