  3. Mews Japanese B2C language (Guest-facing products) completeness stands at 99%. However, there are some nuance issues with translations.

  4. It is not possible to use dynamic rates for availability blocks, only set rates. As some groups or crews have dynamic agreements, this means the hotel can’t set the correct rate for them.

    Since Mews now will work on groups with different release dates etc. (“allotment”) will it be considered to also look into dynamic pricing from availability blocks?

  5. We highly request a function that allows us to have an inventory of all our extra beds in Mews, and that automatically keeps track of when/how many xbeds that are sold. To make sure that we don´t oversell them.
    As it is today, we need to manually keep track of incoming reservations that needs xbeds, and put this in an excel document - this needs to be done several tims a week and it takes a lot of time and effort, when it should be a simple solution in the system.

  6. Having a function that lets you split a group or move a reservation from one group to another. This would be a tremendous help if f.ex. you add a reservation to a wrong group and have to move it to another group, if you need to "pick up" reservations from one group and make a new group.
    Now you have to cancel the reservations in original group and make a new one, which can be very time consuming.

  7. Add an option to filter which type of notes are shown in reports. An use case would be the "Room Status" report with only housekeeping notes (For the housekeeping obviously).

    For example for the "Guests in House" report you have an option to toggle products and then a separate option for refining wich products are shown.

    Similar there is already an option to toggle notes (guest notes to be specific). Just add an additional option for choosing wich note classifications should be shown.

  8. Currently Mews does not show rate group description and rate description when multiple rates are available within one rate group. This is not ideal for any hotel that may have multiple properties to manage as well as multiple reservationists. Its unreasonable to expect for reservationists and multiple property management to remember or recall information that is vital to relay to the guest at time of booking. Most hotels have multiple rates so this is a feature that is 100% missing and required for Mews tobe competitive in the PMS market for groups and PMS for hotels.

  9. When potential clients are choosing to confirm a reservation via Optional booking quote, they are not directed to input thier credit card. They have to search for this feature. The PMS does not require a credit card to confirm these reservations leaving more follow up work on operations and creates confusion for the guest. Autofill the guests credit card to confirm the reservation would alleaviate a lot of head aches.

  10. The current functionality of the dirty (legionella) status is linked to the status of a room: if it's in clean or inspected for 7 days it switches to status dirty ( legionella). If the setting of rooms is: change status to dirty on check-out, then it is possible that if a check-in ( but not check-out) occurs somewhere within the 7 day window, the status of the room during the occupancy changes to dirty( legionella). This is incorrect. As the room is occupied the room should not go to legionella status, as it is used.

  12. When multiple reservations are selected within the group, users can easily make changes on the "Properties" tab or lock unlocking reservations and there are no warnings given.

    It would be great if there is a small warning saying that the change will be applied to all the selected reservations.

  13. Nous utilisons actuellement room check in (HOPR) et nous avons des textes et photos afin que nos employés d'entretien ménager puissent voir les standards des unités avant de faire les ménages. nous aimerions faire la même chose dans Mews.
    We currently use room check in (HOPR) and we have texts and photos so that our housekeeping employees can see the standards of the units before cleaning. we would like to do the same in Mews.

  14. If you're searching for a company but the company doesn't exist in the system, usually there is an option to 'add new company' but this option doesn't exist when searching in the company field of the the guest profile for some reason. This would be super handy and avoid a lot of extra clicks.

  15. Es wäre dringend notwendig eine Möglichkeit zu haben Produkte nur intern vom Gesamtbetrag abzusplitten für die Buchhaltung.
    Beispiel: Zimmerpreis 150 EUR, davon sind anteilig 30 EUR Frühstück. Diese 30 EUR müssten automatisch im Hintergrund abgesplittet werden und in die Buchhaltungskategorie z.B. Food & Beverage gebucht werden ohne das dies für den Gast ersichtlich ist. Derzeit müssen wir ein Produkt aufsetzten und ein Ausgleichsprodukt dafür aufsetzten, damit es korrekt für die Buchhaltung verbucht wird.

  16. Could there be an option to automatically send the invoices after issuing them? The same option exists with normal bills, and it would be great as sometimes people forget and then we are waiting for our money.

  17. You should be able to make changes to a reservation after the bill has been closed. This would just create a new separate bill with the extra charge/credit.

  19. It would be very useful for us to be able to see the trends for when people arrive for breakfast on different weekdays/times of year, to see when and where we should most efficiently use our staff.

    Therefore it would be nice if it was possible to filter the product report in such a way that you can view which products are "checked" at which times on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

    Similar to (or the same as) how we check when most people check in and out in the Activity Report.

  20. It would be nice when we send out the confirmation letters to our guests that there is a seperate section for special/important information to share with the guest. For example the exact room number or floor level for returing guests or critical information such as discount VIP status info.
