  3. Warum muss ich bei einer Firmenreservierung sofort einen Gastnamen anlegen? Es wäre einfacher, wenn ich nur den Namen der buchenden Person anlegen könnte und die Gästenamen dann nachtrage. So muss ich die Felder doppelt ausfüllen. Gerade bei Firmen, die mehrere Zimmer gebucht haben, ist das anstrengend.

  4. We would really appreciate having the option for parking to be automatically marked as “checked-in” once the guest checks into their room and also automatically adding the parking booked on the bill to the timeline of Parking Service.

    Currently, having to switch between services to manually check in the parking is inconvenient and time-consuming, especially during busy check-in times. Automating this step would greatly improve front desk efficiency.

    Additionally, it would be very helpful to have a “parking” icon displayed in the guest profile, so we can quickly see who has a parking spot.

Hinsichtlich verschiedener Mehrwertsteuersätze sollte es möglich sein, 1 "Oberprodukt" aus mehreren "Unterprodukten" zusammensetzen zu können, da sonst alles einzeln manuell gebucht werden müsste, wenn man keine gesonderte Paketrate dazu erstellt. Beim Online-Check in ist bei einer erneuten Mehrwertsteueränderung keine nachträgliche z.B. Frühstücksbuchung bei Room Only Raten möglich.

  10. There is a huge problem in Mews when it comes to availability blocks and overbooking.

    Right now, if you for example have all existing standard rooms blocked in an availability block, and then there is an overbooking of a standard room, this overbooking will not show on the availability overview. It will just say that the availability for standard rooms is 0, and not -1. So then if you look at the availability overview, it will say for example that we have 0 standard rooms available and 1 superior room, so it looks like we have one room available, but…

  12. When using digital solutions and integrations, accurate timing is crucial.

    In Mews, the selected arrival time does not always match the exact check-in time when using automated check-in. Sometimes, there can be an additional delay of up to 10 minutes before the reservation is fully checked in, causing issues—for instance, when promising guests "check-in at 3 PM" and having an automated flow dependent on the exact check-in time.

    By implementing an option like "Start check-in X minutes before arrival time," each property could individually accommodate this delay, significantly improving the guest experience.

  13. It would be great if the feature for creating reservations directly in the timeline could be made optional and turned on or off in the settings. While this feature has been well received from many of our staff, it is often triggered unintentionally when navigating through the timeline. The possibility to turn it on or off would help our staff by allowing them to customize the handling of the timeline to their preferences.

  14. What about a room plan where we can see a map of the rooms by floors (filter), and know exactly where they are located. It would be really helpful at the time of assigning rooms or help guests with their wishes about "room facing the backyard instead of the road" and long etc. This map could show in which status is the room so we could see if the room is inspected or not, occupied or not, etc. Could this may be a future feature for Mews?

  20. Do not sell new booking that force to change the room number of future booking with a lock on because the guests wants to have this room number. The property should have the option to decide if the future bookings with a lock on, can limit the availability in the inventory in order to ensure that a client can have the room number he wants.
