  1. Each space category is specified with a maximum capacity setting to prevent too many guests and ensure that every companion is accommodated comfortably. In addition to maximum capacity, a setting to define a minimum capacity could also be beneficial for some properties that would like to reserve specific space categories for groups of a certain size.

  2. It would be great if we could label the bookings individually and make sure that this is everywhere visible.
    Example: Speakers from the seminar
    We make do with the top management classification in the guest profile, but even this is not obvious everywhere.
    I expect to see this information in the booking overview of a group, for example, without having to expand the reservation. And it must be visible in the timeline.

  4. When uploading Group blocks with excel, the system assigns rooms based on Room category, it would be beneficial to assign based on room numbers rather than room category

  5. It would be very useful if you could view the status of an existing support case (e.g. see if it's been looked at, actioned, etc.) via the digital assistant. Currently once a case is submitted via the digital assistant, I'm not aware of a way to contact support without creating another case via the digital assistant. If you email [email protected] the automated reply says emails cannot be responded to directly, and creates another case.

    It would be much simpler if you could give your case number to the digital assistant to get a link to a summary page. Also, it…

  6. As one of the individual permissions, give the option to restrict exporting reports. With the current phishing attempts it is very important to limit who can export reservations reports.

  7. In the list of rates, we see
    Name, Base rate, Type (private or public), Short name, External name, Enabled, Default.
    It would be nice to have at least one extra column, to visualise the adjustment (absolute or relative) from the base rate. When there's a lot of rates to setup and check it can be time consuming to do those 3 clicks (rate, pricing, adjustment).

  8. Product rules should be possible to adapt based on arrival, origin, segment, rate, space etc. This allows us to automize specific charges and better work on upselling and creating new revenue streams!

  9. In quotation mails for 1-5 rooms the guest/booker can see rate details (name, conditions..) but for more than 5 rooms the rate details (cancellation, payment...) are not displayed, therefore we have to send group offers for more than 5 rooms manually to show cancellation and payment conditions.

A tick box on space types when setting los restrictions, at the minute you have to do every date individually, along with every space, so if you have 17 space types, and want a los on Saturday nights, you have to set the restriction 17 times for 1 day, 884 restrictions just for Saturdays, would be much easier if you could select the space via a tick box, at the minute if you do a generic restriction, you cant undo just one space.
    This could also be applied to rate codes.

  11. Thank you for the Swiss QR IBAN integration. We need a small change for it because some bank are refusing to accept payments as long es the address of the company is not correct.
    So we would love to get the correct company invoicing address in the QR information on the invoice and not the physical address as it is today.
    (And having an Mews intergrated accounting tool which creates the necessary QR IBAN reference codes would be even more perfect!)

  12. In the Messages (Chat with Guest) it would be very useful to at least display the Room Number (Apartment ID) of the Guest after or before his Name...

    We always need to go back to timeline to find this info while chatting with the guest... very annoying and almost impossible with app on smartphone.

  15. To be able to create a combined/if restriction.
    As an example: For a full refund of the nightly rate, the guest must cancel within 48 hours of the creation of the booking AND at least 14 full days prior to the start date of the booking.
    At the moment, it is only possible to have either one of the two cancellation policies.

  17. It is important to differentiate between a package and a singular rate on a bill (without products). The problem is that In hospitality a “package” has a different meaning. It means a rate that includes a specific group of products which is inseparable of the rate. (a Spa package, a Honeymoon package, etc). Allowing the choice to either have the rate + products or a package option should solve this.

  18. User management enhancements so we can edit a username / name / email address. Best described by my help request / use case to Mews Support....

    Is there an easy way for Mews support to rename a user and/or email address? We have a user who histrorically used the reservations@ email with almost all permissions as they were very senior. They now use a personal work email address and the reservations email needs to have permissions downgraded and name changed.   19. To be able to make a report regarding the Space Status by date, so one could know the exact Space Status (Dirty/OOS/Inspected) on a certain date in the past.
    Right now, if one changes the date on the Space Status Report, it will pop up today´s info.
