  2. When a secretary or organizer, organize a booking on behalf of someone else, include an additional field for booker on the reservation, so that you could run a reservations report against the bookers.

  4. For guests that are traveling with children, it is nice to give them a discounted price for some stay products, such as breakfast or excursions. Implementation of pricing for children can help to alleviate some of these costs for your customers and make pricing more attractive for families.

    Hey Mewsers, Good News! We started researching and collating information about this feature request and Age-based pricing is now on our roadmap as one of our priorities for 2021.

    There will be several iterations of releases throughout this year as it is a complex subject that we are tackling. Including pricing, stay products, city taxes, and many more.   6. Many people use customer classifications to keep track of specific types of guests. Although we have a selection available, some of them may not be frequently relevant to some properties' operations. Therefore, the ability to edit or customize these labels may make them more useful for daily tasks and procedures.

  7. Hi There, Many hotels are struggeling daily with excel sheet to keep track of their "gift vouchers", would be nice if we can implement this into Mews. Ideally with; Number/code, value, expiry date.

The search function is useful for quickly finding a reservation or customer profile, however with some compound names and or prefixes attached to names of certain nationalities, it makes this function harder to use since partial searching is currently not possible. Expanding this search function could improve this feature to allow searching for any and all parts of a customer's name, making results more accurate and data easier to navigate.

  11. Registration card configuration allows properties to choose which options should be displayed for arriving guests to complete. In addition to all legally required guest details, some properties may want to specify some other required fields that should be completed for their own data and analysis. These settings would then also apply to both online check-in requirements and the Customer Profiles Report.

  12. Promotions can often include complimentary stay products, such as breakfast. However, one way to make these deals more specific would be adding or restricting a stay product based on the space type booked by the customer. This could create a great incentive for customers to choose higher categories as a result. For example, properties may want to restrict breakfast for only the lowest space category while including it for all others.

  13. Setting prices for stay products can be difficult, especially when properties use dynamic pricing based on season or day of the week. Based on this dynamic pricing scheme, this feature could also be extended to stay products, allowing properties to inflate prices based on demand as is necessary.

  15. Rate restrictions are currently uneditable in Mews, meaning that even for a minor change, you must delete the old one and create an entirely new restriction.

    Hello from the Mews product team.

    At the moment we feel that the functionality around restrictions is flexible.

    You are able to apply restriction across different rates using rate groups for example, or apply them to the base rate which will restrict all related rates. Please check out our Help guides on https://help.mews.com/en/ for more information about our restrictions functionality.

    We also introduced the ability to view restrictions on a calendar which provides a great overview of currently applied restrictions.

    Therefore, we are currently not prioritising this request, but we will keep it open for further comments and opportunity to upvote, especially around the requests of being able to select multiple space types to apply the restriction to.

  17. As guests book close to holiday seasons, this can make operations difficult for your property when you may already be low on staff members. With the addition of close to arrival and close to departure restrictions, you can easily specify those dates when you'd like to restrict either check-ins or checkouts.
