  4. As new customers are added or new companions need to be entered on a reservation, legally required data is not clearly listed until opening the Customer Profile report, where you can see all missing details highlighted for completion. By adding Customer Profile Report adjustment, this could allow Mewsers to edit customer data directly in report fields, as well as add companion data by simply clicking on the empty fields.

  5. To save users from an additional click, Mews could enable autofocus on the Dashboard search bar. This would automatically focus that input to that search, meaning that while users are on the Dashboard page, users could start typing and search would begin automatically.

  6. Address format in some countries, such as Austria and Germany, is often different from the widely known address format used in many other European countries. This can cause some confusion for guests and properties from Germany or Austria as it is not automatically corrected in the system. This formatting modification could improve the functionality of data for many users as it would eliminate confusion and keep all information accurate to the applicable cultural settings.

  9. Some countries are not able to properly price and account VAT for long stays, especially when the long stay is changed from the original reservation above or below the certain amount of days. At billing, Mews should properly calculate the discount based on the length of stay (e.g. discount is for every day of a stay longer than 28 days; no discount for a stay of less than 29 days), adjusting the overall price to be paid by the guest, based on any discount.

  16. To properly analyze all data coming in through Commander, properties may want to look specifically at canceled reservations. Within our reservation report, an additional filter for cancellation reason could provide some important insight into that information so that properties can easily view and analyze those details.

    We are very happy to announce, that you are now able to filter by cancellation reason in your reservation report!

    How does it work?

    Simply head over to your reservations report, select the filter “Canceled” > Under Status select “canceled” > Group by “Cancellation reason”.

    You will now be able to see the reason reservations have been cancelled!

  19. Currently, you can enable or disable automatic sending of these emails. However, with this idea, you could specify to whom you would like or wouldn't like to send 'after start' and 'after end' emails
