Automatic logout of users
Since Mews is a cloud solution and therefore accessible from anywhere, it is important that users are careful to log out once they are no longer using the platform. To help increase security measures, a feature could be implemented to automatically log out Mewsers who have been inactive for a certain period of time. After this predetermined interval, users would then have to reenter their user details to access Mews again.

Is there any update to this? As MEWS is actually doing so many safe and secure things they forgot about a easy auto logout function??

Rather lock session instead of log out. See https://feedback.mews.com/forums/918232-property-operations-pms/suggestions/48763490-automatic-lock-session

60 sec is too short but at the best, we could set that by ourselves.
There are already threads about this topic:

Hello, we would like to have the feature of automatic logout/lock session after employee inactivity. For example, if there is no interaction on the screen for 60 seconds, the “lock session” should be automatically enforced for the employee.

Implementation of a feature to automatically log-out signed-in employees after a certain amount of time, and additionally, a quick key to log out.
In some cases, multiple employees work on one computer and forget to log out. A quick key to log out would make it easier. -

automatically logout after 10 or 15 min if no activity deteced on the account on.
will be more secure for everyone to know you can leave for an important meeting and not bother about who will use your account during this time by mistake -

Agreed that Auto logout should happen a lot earlier than after 24h of inactivity. 30-60min would be preferable and safer

A multi sign-out is useful for when you forget to sign-out or when you are logged-on to multiple devices and leave for the day.

We like the cool new "quick lock account": But I am sure, if there would be a short key to lock the account instead of clicking on the user icon, it would be much more used then today.
