Placeolder for deposit amount in the "Automatic settlement failed" email
When we make a manual booking for a rate that requires a downpayment the "Automatic settlement failed" email is sent out if there is no credit card attached.
This, in itself, is a good thing. However it is often unclear for the guests how much they have to pay. They's have to find back the original booking confirmation (might have been months ago) and look through the rate description to figure out how much they have to pay.
A simple placeholder for the amount that the automatic settlement rule was supposed to have taken would be great for these cases.

directed to guest dashboard
The current UX/UI design and flow is not logical, at least to me. When entering a guest name into the search bar or clicking a guest name - you are taken to the profile tab instead of directly to the guest dashboard (where you can access every tab, closed bills, rebates, refunds, past stays, and future stays).
Currently, you are creating more steps than it should be - by having the page that you're being directed to - be the users profile instead of the dashboard.
If you program the backend to direct the user to the guest dashboard instead…

Capture guest ID during online check-in
When guests check-in online, we still require them to come to the Front Desk to provide an ID and their home address. Capturing it during the Mews guest journey makes more sense. Guests often say "what is the point of checking in online if I have to come to the Front Desk anyway." The "online check-in" thus annoys the guests as having to do extra work.

Split capacity by day of the week
Is it possible to offer a specific room type in weekends only to at least 2 adults and 2 kids, and on weekdays also to guests without kids?

On line booking of extra
Unfortunately, it is not possible to book an extra on a specific day on your online booking.
This is quite problematic for us as one of our extras is the Saturday buffet, which of course we only sell on Saturdays.
The same with Christmas menu. This is also only served on Christmas Eve 😊At our Place we only sell minimum 2 nights stay.

Request via Booking Engine
The ability to make just one request via the booking engine. Not every hotel wants the guest to always be able to book directly. Sometimes you only want to see the availability of the rate and category.
Example:
Especially for other services or spaces such as meetings and events, you should only be able to see the information and the hotel then decides how to handle the request.
Smaller hotels that also sell the entire house do not always want to receive direct inquiries.1 vote -
Reply button URL placeholder in Unread message notification template
Speratate the details and the button in {messageDetailsHtml} to allow the "Reply" button as a unique placeholder URL, as it is the only button you can't edit or manipulate using HTML.

J'aimerai que nous puissions gérer les capacités supplémentaire des espaces, notamment des chambres, avec les enfants et les bébés. Par exemple, dans les Chambre X, dire que nous pouvons y accueillir 2 adultes, 1 enfant et 1 bébé, puis dans la Chambre Y, 2 adultes uniquement, et enfin dans la Chambre Z, 2 adultes et seulement 1 bébé (pas 1 adulte en +).
Aussi, ce serait idéal que lorsque le client faire une recherche pour + de 2 adultes, que ça lui propose uniquement les chambres dans lesquels il peut tenir?

Booking engine - More visibility in space category description.
Have more lines visible as default in the description of the spaces in the booking engine.

TEXT Extra person on booking engine - no need
We are sending rates for 1 person – and 2 persons are difference rate + 200 DKK.
The issue here is that we wish this text to be unvisible on booking engine.

Add the possibility to send a bill from a reservation to another reservation by searching for SEconfirmation number, without email adress attached to the other reservation.

invoicable visibility in the search box
Add the "invoiceabe" blue sign . When you search for a company in the main search box.
Atm you can only find the company, but have to go all in to the profile to see if its invoiceable.

invoicing, attach voucher number
Add the option to "safe" information on a bill/invoice for future reservation.
For example:
Be able to attach referens and voucher numbers to the bill. I have noticed you can only attach the information when you are abou to send the invoice.

allotment
Make: take from allotment and add more rooms to allotment as Cenium had before. For travel agents. (Calander mode, and if you are on it, add: (how many rooms they had originaly and how many they have left) so its visible

Kiosk check-in- Guest details
Due to New Zealands legal environment we cannot turn off the requirement for the details of every guest staying in a room when checking in via the kiosk.
As you can imagine if a guest books a three bedroom ********* for her and the children she doesn't want to spend all the time required to fill in details for each of her children just to proceed with the check in. We as a property also do not require this.
We no longer use kiosk for this reason as guests become too frustrated.

Customizable dated automatic mails for events, roadworks, ...
Automatic email templates for event, traffic changes,...
Template can be created with the necessary information ( + possible link)
To inform guests of events taking place during stay ( that may have an impact).
E.g. local city events that have an impact on accessibility for that arriving or departing guest.
New Year's dinner/ Party, ...These templates should then be able to be created, and linked to a future date, that all guests arriving/departing or in hotel at that time can receive an email about this ( (Automatically sent out by Mews)

Allowing All Location as selection on booking engine
We are building our Group Booking Engine for our group of hotels, the location drop box could only allow the user to select a particular location and display hotels in that location. Can we add a ALL Hotel option in that drop down box, so all hotels within the same group would show once that is selected? this will be very convenience for distribution especially on high constrain dates.

Possibility to automatically turn on 'cashlist' classification when a profile is created
We would like the classification 'cashlist' to be turned on automatically when a profile is created. Frontdesk can turn the classification off when a guest provides a deposit (in cash or creditcard form).
We understand this setting is not applicable for all locations, so we would like this to be a setting you can turn on or off in property settings.

Allow guest to change booking dates
Currently any direct reservations cannot have a date change action completed by the guest. The only option is to cancel and rebook. Or contact the property to change the booking stay dates.
Other PMS and OTA tools have this functionality, can this please be developed so the guest has full control of their reservation?1 vote -
Default value - mail templates
Currently, as soon as you make a modification, to any mail template, you erase the default settings for the template - which is all fine and well if you want continue customising your template and understand how to do so.
However from time to other you would like to go back to the original settings. Would it be an idea that the default button next to the template name, could be active, such that when you engage it, the template settings would revert to default ?
