Option: Do not send charge mail to the client
Mews sends automatically a charge mail to the mail address in the customer profile (for a physical card). But the card holder may be different e.g. a travel agency) and the customer is not supposed to knox the net price. Therefor it would be helpful to have a tick box on the charge screen: "Do not send charge mail to the client".

Stop online check in for under aged guests
We're facing difficulties in some properties where under aged guests are checking in online. There should be a way to stop those online check in. At the moment they could just pick up the key on the operator kiosk and go to the room. Therefore we would accommodate them, without knowing they are under the allowed age, which is against the law. We do have the responsibility to control the age of the guest. This already happened and cause complains and frustrations on hotel and guest side.

Packages available in Distributor
As a hotelier, I want to sell packages with special offers to my guests through Distributor.
Example: Enjoy the Valentine day in our hotel! Weekend stay, romantic dinner for two and a bottle of Champagne for 599 EUR.
I want these to be sold as packages rather than set up as special rates.
I want them to look like special offer.
I want them not to be limited to a specific date.

Possibility to book without credit card for contracted companies
Making it possible for contracted companies, which have a voucher code, to make a booking without credit card guarantee. Such companies can usually pay on invoice or upon arrival.

Automatic change of check out time when Product "Late Check out" is booked. We now have to change this manually.

Notes - general improvements
Notes are a huge feature to ease booking management and get a smooth communication between shifts. We use it to clarify bills or past interactions with the guests.
Notes shouldn't be hiding 2 clicks and a scroll down away from the anywhere into MEWS. They should be easy to access, for example, when we click on a booking in the timeline : "Booking - Group - Notes" should appear. Also Notes should have its own panel within the booking, why at the very bottom ? Thanks !

Create Bookings on Kiosk (Walk-ins)
Currently, the Mews Kiosk requires that you have a reservation to be able to check-in. It would be great if we had the ability to allow the guest to actually process a walk-in guest saving the front desk time. This would require preauthorization for US clients or an option to pay in full at time of walk-in.

Merge guest profiles based on multiple details
When guest make reservations via booking.com, expedia... most of the time we only receive a telephone number or address. The e-mail address is in 99% of the cases one generated by the OTA to mask the guests email. Therefore it would be very convenient if Mews would merge profiles based on other similarities as well. This would make it easier to identify guests who have already stayed with us previously.

Mandatory Fields in Mews Booking Engine
Ability to add mandatory fields in Mews Booking Engine and transfer this data into the reservation information in form of notes or tasks automatically. Example, what is mandatory now is last name, email and if selected telephone number. We would like to have the ability to have specific preferences to better enhance the guest stay such as high floor, quiet location, near elevator, ADA. Flexibility to add additional fields to Booking Engine
Properties are looking for more personalized experience. It's important to collect information such as allergies, personal preferences, arrival time, etc.
It would be great if there was a flexibility to add additional fields in the booking engine (arrival, allergies, preferences, occasion for the stay) and give properties flexibility to collect this important data from their guests at the time of booking.

VIP Report and Export
in order to get the VIP's sent to the hostel on a daily basis. it would be nice to be able to apply a filter in the export report to filter on clasification

Show number of past stays in guest dashboard
To get a quick idea of an arriving guest, it would be very useful to see how often the guest has returned to the property.
The current symbol of a returning guest is not enough. There is difference between guests that have returned once or guests that have returned 30 times!It would be very helpful to see the number of stays counting from 1 to ....

Differentiate hotel collect and ota collect bookings
It would be very helpful for the front desk to obviously see in the Travel Agency Contracts section whether a booking from Expedia/Booking.com/Agoda/etc is with hotel or ota collect payment method

Proving Guest has accepted T&Cs tickbox
Whilst its 'controlled' in the booking flow that a guest cannot complete the reservation without ticking the acceptance box for T&Cs, when it comes to defending a chargeback it supports a stronger counter-challenge if we have the ability to send a screenshot of the reservation summary with the datapoint captured that the T&Cs were accepted and timestamped.
