Property Operations and PMS: this is the forum for posting your ideas and comments on all aspects of hotel operations, from reservations to events to metrics and reports. You'll find a category here for each of the major topics in property management, and if you can't find the right category, please search or post to the Other category. Where we can, we'll move ideas around to group them as intuitively as possible for the product managers working on the PMS.

  1. 1- Add the option to make mandatory that the user (guest) fills in information before they can add the product to their stay. Example: offer airport transfer but then make it mandatory for the user to input the time and airport of arrival.
    2- Add conditions to products so that they can only be chosen if such conditions are met. Example: minimum of 4 people must book in order to book a ski lesson

  2. IF I HAVE A GUEST IN A ROOM FOR 10 NIGHTS AND IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STAY I NEED TO CHANGE THE ROOM NUMBER I CAN NOT DO THAT AS THE OTHER ROOM NUMBER OF SAME ROOM TYPE WERE OCCUPIED BEFORE SO IT BLOCKS TO CHANGE THE ROOM NUMBER IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STAY

  3. If there's a chance we could add the number of nights count to the popup when we hover over a reservation in the timeline view.

  4. We have some ‘Long stays’ but there is no where we can see the actual number of days they’re staying (without looking at the arrival and departure date and making the maths). It would help if there could be a way of having a number (it could be right next to the reservation dates and inside parentheses) indicating the total room nights of that reservation

  5. Being able to share / attach files in any internal or external communication.
    Sharing data in a similar way to Line (for example lost item, housekeeping issue pictures etc. )

  6. Would be great if you could create a Queue Booking system.
    In order to easely identify guest that have made the admin paperwork however their room wasn't ready.
    Help HSK to prioritize the cleaning . Help the Front office team to identify customer when thei are returning.

  7. Restrict front desk team from overriding rates when making booking. Currently MEWS doesn't provide rate check report to see how much rate difference we are getting from staff making manual bookings. It is crucial for revenue managers to keep this under control in order to maintain the rates. Ideally I think front desk should not have the rights to override any rates.

  8. Having the bill number set up by year and month :
    p.e : 2018.03.XXXX
    It is already possible, bu we have to change the month number manually every month. I would like it to change automatically the 1st of the month.

  9. closed company bills (with payments) are now totally invisible in the reservation. It would be nice if a billing and payment button is also visible in the reservation on the status page, as it is for the guests.

  13. To be able to click on each columns of the reservation report and to have the possibility to filter all the info by ascending order for example. If they are trying to find which customer paid his reservation the most expensive they would like to click on rate and to filter it.

  18. Right now, it is only possible to check rate totals when creating a new reservation. Even then, the total price is shown based only on the currently selected rate for stay and products added. A rate query tool would be a great option to help clarify and check prices, availability, and restrictions that may apply to different rates, with or without certain products. This additional functionality could also help revenue, sales, and marketing departments to save time and streamline their efforts.

  20. While looking at the timeline, there is a lot of information represented there, which can make it difficult to navigate. Introduction of a fast and easy search function could help simplify your investigations as you could immediately identify guests, space numbers, and more.
