Property Operations and PMS: this is the forum for posting your ideas and comments on all aspects of hotel operations, from reservations to events to metrics and reports. You'll find a category here for each of the major topics in property management, and if you can't find the right category, please search or post to the Other category. Where we can, we'll move ideas around to group them as intuitively as possible for the product managers working on the PMS.

  5. Right now, it is only possible to check rate totals when creating a new reservation. Even then, the total price is shown based only on the currently selected rate for stay and products added. A rate query tool would be a great option to help clarify and check prices, availability, and restrictions that may apply to different rates, with or without certain products. This additional functionality could also help revenue, sales, and marketing departments to save time and streamline their efforts.

  8. While looking at the timeline, there is a lot of information represented there, which can make it difficult to navigate. Introduction of a fast and easy search function could help simplify your investigations as you could immediately identify guests, space numbers, and more.

  9. Our Rate Managment Screen (RMS) could be quite complicated and contains a lot of important data. General managers and revenue managers must interpret these details as they decide on rate pricing for their properties. For this reason, sticky headers could help clarify which data you are looking at, keeping the title of each column and row stationary as you scroll through all pricing details and make any necessary adjustments.

  10. It would be great if we could receive a no-show report, either as an xml attachment in an email, or a pdf report through email.

    Currently the only way to check no-shows is on the day itself and there's no way to really gather statistics from this unless you keep track yourself.

  11. At the moment you are unable to see the specific group that has remaining rooms that have not been picked up, instead you see all the groups with blocks during the specified dates.
    With that you need to go into each of the groups to check which ones still have rooms that have not been picked up nor released.

  14. They is a example of the request of the customer. This functionality is available in Hotello and customers is looking to have the same in Mews. There is some examples:
    Example 1: I have a package for 3 nights:
    Night 1: Diner
    Night 2: Breakfast, lunch (apply after midnight per day per person) and diner
    Night 3: breakfast and lunch (apply after midnight per day per person)
    The problem right now is all items applied every night. In Hotello, they was able to select in the configuration with specific night the product should applies

  15. Copy a reservation to a future date

    Often returning clients make sometimes the same booking for different dates. It would be great to have an option to copy a reservation to another date to make the reservation process quicker.

  16. Additional/customizable origin options.

    When a reservation is created we have limited options to choose as the origin of the booking. We would like to have the option to customize these options ourselves to have a better overview of where the bookings come from.

  17. Product rules should be possible to adapt based on arrival, origin, segment, rate, space etc. This allows us to automize specific charges and better work on upselling and creating new revenue streams!

  19. The company profile dashboard currently has some bills and invoices belonging to the company.

    However, the organization of this is not quite easy to navigate around as someone would have to remember the bill numbers in order to find bills here. Instead, it would be great if there was a way to sort the bills by due date or closed dates. etc
