allow extended stays
currently there is a maximum stay of 365 nights. for our business that just isn't acceptable as we regularly have people stay for several years. we would need to split the reservation which would impact on reports and give falls data and comparison figures.
fair enough if you want to build in a warning message if you book for more than 365 nights, but do not limit a business or allow each business to set their own limit of maximum stay.10 votesHello from the Mews product team,

Giving employees access to Mews systems via a Single Sign On System
Not only to make it easier for employees but also to prevent people from having multiple usernames and passwords so that when someone is terminated, the access to all systems can easily be removed.

Access to the reservation in the Mews Commander Mobile application
When you use 'Messages' in the Mews Commander app from your phone, it would be useful to go directly to the reservation as you can do when you work for a computer. Thank you team

Productrules applicable for a certain period of time
Make it possible to set a period of time to a productrule. Example: the swimmingpool surcharge is applicable from April to October. In the current situation, the productrule is always applicable or never applicable

travel agents set up
Would it not be easier to be able to set up a new travel agents without having to create a new company first.
also, the routing rules should be part of the company and travel agent set up and not another unrelated action.

routing rules to be listed alphabetically
if you now want to see if a company or travel agents has routing rules, you need to filter one at the time. would be so much easier if you list them alphabetically and not in the order when they were created

Updating Voucher
To be able to have the option to update the voucher for existing reservations. Unfortunately, if you're looking to update the voucher you need to cancel the reservation and create new once as there is no way to update voucher, only when creating initial booking.

creating PayMaster account from a Company
it would be great if you would be able to create a company and create a PM with the same details at the same time. now you have to retype all the information which seems a waste of time.

Moving invoice created to PM on new billing screen
in the old billing screen, when you had created an invoice, it was immediately visible on the unassigned left side.
now with the new billing, it "disappears" and you have to click out to say the payment tab to go back in to the billing tab before you can see the created invoice and move it to the Pay Master.

Products and Services - Bookable on X Day of Week Only
Products and services that are bookable during the reservation process should have a Day of Week Restriction.
IE: Hotel wants to offer a product that is only available if a guest is going to be staying over a Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday.
If a guest is going to be checking in Sunday and Checking out Wednesday, the product should display and be bookable.
However, if they are checking in Wedneday & Checking out Thursday, the product should not display and be bookable as they guest wont be in house when the product is offered.

Payment request task automated assigning
When a payment request is expired or paid - it is not assigned to any departments.

Count in Bill as package shows the breakdown of fees
Currently on the bill, when you bill as package the count will show "1x the total amount" of the product or service.
This count should show breakdown of the fees and then in the total column there should be the total amount.
ie. 1x100€ + 1x120€ + 1x100€ in the count and 320€ in the total.2 votesHello all,

Allow the choice to put "Package" on the bill or a rate with products attached
It is important to differentiate between a package and a singular rate on a bill (without products). The problem is that In hospitality a “package” has a different meaning. It means a rate that includes a specific group of products which is inseparable of the rate. (a Spa package, a Honeymoon package, etc). Allowing the choice to either have the rate + products or a package option should solve this.

Select all charges by type, in one click on the billing screen
It would be great if you could select all the types of charges in a group in one click, instead of clicking for each stay one by one

Show "Booker" as a label when moving bill items
We use the booker field for our paymaster indications for groups.
It would be great if the booker would come up as a suggested customer to move the bill items to, when we move items from the bill.
So in the move section all possible customer profiles that are attached to a reservation are listed as option.

closed out dates remain open for existing booking to amend to those closed dates
I ve closed out say 1st January 2021. FO team still have amended a few existing bookings from 1st Feb to 1st January which is closed.

Commander only rates
It would be necessary to have commander only rates which can be used by our receptionist only, that do not have any restrictions on it. Sometimes it is ok to sell one room of a category for maybe just one night at a certain time, but not the whole category. Also we offer our returner guests the possibilty to book their next vacation - same time - next year when they leave, but we do not sell it to any other person - not online, not at the OTA´s and not in person at the desk. Rateplan per spacetype
MEWS should allow for the users to create rates per spacetype. Currently any rate we create is available for all spacetypes. This results in very slow availability request responses.

Multiple Accounting Categories - no show charging
Allow in the new spacetime for multiple automated no show charging. Currently customers can only select one accounting category for no show charging. When applying multiple business types in one system (which we do already), the system should also cater for multiple no show charges.
