Ability to cancel and amend already-posted Products
If you accidentally post an incorrect amount for a Product, or forget to enter some information such as a check no. or any other relevant information, there does not seem to be any way either outright cancel that posting, or to amend either the amount you accidentally posted, or enter some notes you forgot to write.
Could this please be rectified ASAP?

Charge, Close and Check out
When in the billing screen of a reservation that is due out. It would be nice to have an option to Charge, Close and Check out.
This would prevent us from having to go back into the reservation status and check out the room manually

Add a person to an already occupied unit
Persons arriving later to a unit than the already checked in people - cannot be added for only a part of the whole stay. Same with persons departing earlier than the other people of the same unit.

Split Occupancy/Availability report by Midweek (Mon-Thurs) and Weekend (Fri-Sun)
It would make life a lot easier when it comes to rate management if we could split weeks into Midweek/Weekend. This would allow for better rate manipulation.
It would also let us report how we are performing by Midweek/Weekend rather than us having to manually calculate it all (which takes a very long time when you are looking at the next three months). This sort of data lets us look at which breaks are more popular at which time of year etc.

Add staff schedule/rota in a calendar/timeline format
Add a timeline/calendar where each department could log their rota to facilitate communication between teams and easily visualise who is working in each department at any given time.

Action log - downloading to .xls + export/schedules
I would like to be able to download the action log to excel. It will make it easier for me to control the work of the revenue manager who changes the prices. It would be good to be able to download this report automatically via exports ->schedules.

Change PAX on inhouse reservations
What we would like is to be able to change the PAX on a nightly basis.
E.g.
"Guest A" has reserved a room for 5 nights. On night 1,2,3 Guest A stays in the room alone. Night 4 & 5 "Guest B" will join "Guest A" in the same room.
As for now we have no possibility to change the amount adults/children since there's already products that has been consumed previous nights. (breakfast --> via product rule)
This makes our safety list, and other reports show the wrong amount of overnight guests and products.79 votesHello from the Mews product team,

filter Reservation report specific dates
Have a filter in the reservations report for "staying period".
For example, I want to look at bookings created on 04/10/2021 that are staying between 1st November and 31st November

Is it possible to integrate the assigned space in the task overview space
If i am making a task i always have to manually add a assigned space in the task because now only the reservation name and period is visable (to avoid going back to the reservation and start the task all over again)

Store the vaccination status so that it is clear and obvious at check-in whether the vaccination status is known or needs to be queried.

Price displayed for selected items in the new billing
It will be nice to have the price shown for only selected items if asked by the guest, and not have to move them to a new bill to have the amount, or calculate somehow.

Showing the room number on past bookings
On the dashboard of a guest, we cannot see in one eyesight the previous room number, we have to click on details, or open every past bill.

Block charging to room if guests do not add payment card.
If guests do not want to add payment card to their reservation we would like to be able to block charges being added to the room.

Inbuilt Charge-back/Credit Card Authority Forms
An option to send a credit card authority form (charge-back form) that is linked directly to booking.
This could be similar to a payment request, but would not charge the card the receiver inputs until date of booking? How do other Hotels send people charge-back forms currently? sending them independently from Mews feels disjointed, as we need to email them to guest, have them fill out and return to us, then we input payment details into Mews manually.17 votesHello from the Mews product team. Create Non-Physical Space Types
Each "service type" offered to a guest needs to be associated with a "space type". Current "space types" are limited to physical spaces only.
Some services, such as "Experiences", could use additional "non-tangible space types". Clients would have the flexibility and freedom to offer tours, trips, etc. which could also be covered under the Spacetime project as they often times use the same logic as the physical space types = inventory, rate and bookable timeframe.
Adding non-physical space types to the selection of "space types" would very likely increase usability of Spacetime.

Resize Printing format to a POS slip printer
When using MEWS to manage a small F&B outlet via Services/Products, it would be nice to be able to link a small POS slip printer e.g. Epson TMT-20, to issue guests a cash invoice for the service if requested that is not on A4.
