Customer Messages should be attached directly to the customer profile, so that all hotel staff can easily access/read/react to the conversation.
In that way, only unread messages would appear in the general customer message board and that would clear the clutter.
There could even be a message icon on every reservation badge, so that the staff can access customer-hotel conversations directly.19 votesHello all,

Housekeeping would like to assign two housekeeping employees to the same room i.e. one for the bathroom and one for the remaining of the room.

Be able to generate a report with all revenues inside, including the POS revenue as well
The revenues generated by financial reports are not including the POS revenue. Those can only be seen down under in "Selling points". Then we have to add or sunstract revenues to know exactly what was generated in total

Currently just the number of times a product is booked shows. Adding the revenues would be very helpful in revenue strategies.

stop locking inhouse reservations
When moving a reservation from one category to another, one must first unlock to change the room category. Then the system assigns the room to a room in that category automatically, then we need to unlock the system again to move the guest to the room which we have already decided to move them to.
Can th the lock function not lock in when changing room categories as the process is not complete until we move them to the correct room. Or just make it that when you change room category that Mews does not assign any room to the…

Moving a reservation and keeping the new rooms status
When you move a reserveration from one room to another, both rooms become dirty. Is it possible to add an option in stay for the new room (which is inspected)
to stay inspected.That the room that the guest has moved to stays inspected. The prior rooms can stay dirty just the new room keeps it status. As after midnight inspected rooms become clean then dirty after housekeeping intervall. This way we can keep track of linen change and don't have to manually change it after every move.
Just have as an option if other hotels don't use the system…

Group Booking ID
In case of Group Booking, on top of having reservation ID, would it make sense to have a master group booking ID.

Service product combining in to lump sum.
When adding a service product to a booking, if you enter 10 or under as the amount, it will split it in to 10 separate lines which can be moved to different bills if necessary. If you post over 10, it will combine in to 1 lump sum which is less clear and gives VAT rounding differences. Can the limit of 10 be increased to 31 so a whole month of a charge could be created and split in to different lines?

Mews PMS Messages (Chat) go to all persons to receive messages, can we change?
If you have been off for a few days, when you log in you receive all past messages which is annoying. Would it be possible to only receive message sent/received for the day you log in versus past history of messages?

Batch Posting Products
Do we have the ability to Batch Post Charges on a billing screen to multiple accounts at the same time with different amounts? This would be a one time manual posting and not reoccurring.
Example:
A tour group charges a fee per bag of $5.00. Staff count the number of bags delivered per guest. List provided to front desk. Each one could be different or the same amount per room. Market Segment Production Report Summary + Day by Day Detail Report
Would like to have the ability to view/export/print a day by day market segment report for a specific date span. This could be for past dates or future dates. This would include only totals, no details or drill down required, of room nights, ADR by market segment. Would also be good to show Period to Date, Year to Date, Period to Date Last Year and YTD Last Year with Summary Totals at the bottom of the report. Display space category (short) names when booking for house use in the timeline
When adding house use in the timeline the assigned (short) names are not visible but only room numbers. It is impossible to differentiatie between the space categories when the room numbers are identical.
