Possibility to enable the use of specific Counters and Fiscal Printers only for some users/roles.
Currently, the user must manually select the counter for the bill and the fiscal printer each time a document is issued. This leads to errors and makes issuing corrections very time-consuming. By allowing the assignment of which counters and fiscal printers a user or role is authorized to use, the overall user experience would be significantly improved.

End date on user profile
When making a user profile it would be nice to have an end of employment date or something similar that allows to account to freeze or pause when an employee is not working at the property anymore. This would be a safeguard for responsible user management. This combined with a reminder in advance for users who have user management configured that a user has to be deleted or his/her access has to be extended soon.

Improve Payment report
Implement an improvement so that the payment related to outstanding invoices is displayed as in the payment tab of the customer profile (showing the invoice number that generated the account receivable), and not just the reference to the bill.

Add comments to reservation via reservation overview report
It would be extremely helpful to be able to write comments on reservation directly from the reservation overview report instead of having to click details->administer->properties and THEN be able to write a comment. After all of that, you cannot even just click back, because then you will come to the home screen and not the reservation overview report again. It would save us alot of time, especially us who write comments on almost every single reservation when we go through them for the day to check for extra needs, memberships etc :)

assign employees next day
It would be great if it is possible to assign HSK employees in the furture. So you can assign the employees already a day before or even longer. So when a Manager is off or arriving later the employees know where to start.

Create rates and promotions by using Prompt
Will there be a time in the future where we can prompt the system to create rates, restrictions and promotions the same way we prompt an AI, and all the mapping will be done seamlessly: ex.
Please create a rate plan called "Summer Break" for all my properties. the rate needs to be 15% off BAR, and require a minimum 2 nights. the rate needs full pre-payment and can be booked on direct channels and all OTAs.

No-Shows: Automated Balanced Bill Closure
When a reservation has met the conditions of a "No-show" automatically, there should be a sequence of events for Mews to automatically add (not only) the Cancellation Fee + Payment + balanced Bill Closure at the end.

Origin Logging for All Reservations
We would like to request Origin logging for all reservations.
When reservations are created through a channel manager or via integrations, Mews logs the Origin and Origin ID. However for manually created reservations, Mews does not automatically log the reservation Origin such as Call Center, Email or Phone. As a result, integration partners (such as Lighthouse) receive Mews data files with various blank Origin fields leading to incomplete reporting.

Charge per hour for Early Check In / Late Check Out
It would be great if it were possible to set an early check-in and early check-out rate per hour. Currently, only a fixed price can be selected, which limits our ability to charge more for these options.

1. Gliederung in Zimmerkategorien
2. Anreise und Abreise
3. Name des Gastes (optional)
4. Anzahl Personen gegliedert in Kinder und Erwachsene
5. Produkte (Hund, Late Check-out, Early Check-in usw.)
6. Gästenotizen und Hauseigene NotizenDieser Bericht sollte ebenfalls automatisch gesendet werden können.

Create a deposit on an availability block
We need the possibility to create a deposit on an availability block even if there is no reservation been picked up yet from the block.
Often groups pay already a deposit but do not know the amount of reservations that need to be picked up, yet that deposit still needs to be posted somewhere.2 votes -
Show Rates connected to Segment
Show Rates connected to Segment. We have certain rates with certain segments. When creating a booking and so choosing a segment it should only show rates with that segment.

dog icon
If possible a dog icon would be very nice.
So we could see in the timeline which guests/rooms have dogs. This would be helpful in case we have to mova a room (to another dog friendly room) . Also our staff from housekeeping could directly see which rooms have dogs. :)3 votes -
Assigning one room/space to a housekeeper needs to be taken out of inventory to not assing it again
Currently as it stands, Mews allows you to assign one room to multiple housekeepers without taking the room/space out of inventory. Mews unacceptable answer is that this is done for large rooms. Industry standard is one room/space to one housekeeper. This alleviates mistakes of potentially assigning the same room to multiple housekeepers again and again.

Overbooking on a future date affect the availability on the Availability Block on a previous date
When you have a overbooking of a space category in the future, i.e. December, and you are creating an Availability Block on the a previous date, i.e. June, the overbooking reduces the availability of that space category in June as well. The availability calculation strategies diffusive or discrete, should have in consideration the actual dates of the booking in overbooking. To have the availability on the availability block we have to go to that future booking, and change the requested category to a higher space category and then go back to the availability block, so the real availability can be…

pop up warning when extending a reservation when a locked reservation is following the current
When a reservation is modified (eg because the check out date is extended), the room can be locked. However when you are extending this reservation, it is quite possible that you already have a locked reservation blocking the room you are about to extend.
MEWS does not warn you when you are extending the reservation if and when this is the case, hence your perhaps VIP on arrival is moved without anybody being informed.

invoices
i dont know why it is like this... That clients can’t access their invoice themselves. In fact, in Canada, it’s usually illegal not to send an invoice. Currently, account statements are not available in Mews.
Also, in the pro forma invoice, the GST and QST numbers are missing, and taxes (including tax numbers) are extremely important in Quebec.
In short, we need to:
…Provide access for clients to retrieve their invoices themselves. Include tax numbers everywhere and show a detailed breakdown of the taxes. Automate invoice delivery: when a client makes a reservation, they should receive either a link to2 votes
