Make timeline view available on mobile app
Please add the timeline view to the mobile app. Some properties would like to see the timeline on their phones as well since they utilize them often and throughout the day. This feature request came from Erin at Boardwalk Homes Executive Guest Houses & Suites.

Exempt certain taxes for OTAs
On Expedia Collect and Airbnb bookings, the OTA collects the occupancy tax (city tax) and not the property. It therefore requires us to make some unfortunate accounting adjustments at the end of each month.
We would need to be able to choose which taxes apply to Travel Agents.

E-mail templates / Automatically generated e-mail can be changed individually at "Service" level
Unfortunatelly it is not possible to change to the service name on the online check-in, unfortunately the online check-in configuration is outside of the services and located in the Settings > Property. Therefore it is not possible to change this text to use the service name.

Downgrades not syncing properly with OTAs linked with the direct interfaces
Customer X has booked room category #1. If I manually upgrade him (drag and drop) to a higher category, say #2, then the OTA's availabilities will be updated to reflect this upgrade. Then, If I manually downgrade X in his original requested category the OTA'a availabilities will be once more updated and revert to their original state. However, if X is downgraded not by manual drag and drop but by being "bumped" into his original category through the dragging and dropping of another customer Y onto X's room, then the new availabilities resulting from this bumped downgrade will not be…

Allow inquired reservations to auto release by system
There is a setting in the system to instruct optional and inquired reservations to auto release. To operate a waitlist it would be better to split this instruction so that inquired bookings auto release and optional reservations don't auto release.

Occupancy report and shared inventory
When using shared inventory in a hostel setting the occupancy graph is rendered almost unusable. When having a dorm sellable as a Dorm or a single bed, if arrivals was 1 for a bed on the day in the reservations section, the graph directly below will indicate 2 arrivals if the dorm was not occupied previously. There is only truly 1 arrival.
Appreciating additional logic would need to be applied across the system, though this would make it far more actionable insights and give team members actionable information.

Sorting on Bill Items
We see that items on bill 13947 are ordered in a way that we don’t understand. Can you provide some clarification on this? Property wants to order items by date. Since the date sorting in the billing screen is not in order, the bill cannot be printed in date order.
The issue occurs when bills are imported from Lightspeed, I think? I am not entirely sure on this but it seems to be the case.
AFAIK we don’t have any ordering on bill items level.

Restriction/permission for deleting products from a reservation or guest bill
Restrict some users from being able to delete products within the reservation or billing. Either an approval code from a manager could be entered to allow them to delete it, or the manager themselves who has the permission deletes the product themselves

Status change to clean at checkin
Operations are complaining about the lack of housekeeping statuses, especially check in status. Optimal functionality would be "occupied" but maybe it could be solved by using clean status at check in?
The reason for this is that by keeping the space inspected, front office forget to check in reservations (ghost rooms) and they lose control over how many inspected spaces are available to sell to walk ins. For housekeeping it is the other way around - when check in makes room dirty they re-visit already cleaned rooms, disturbs guest etc.

Show guest names/references on the list of invoices
It is impossible to find a specific invoice if it is owned by a company with over 100 invoices attached. Guest names/references should show by default in the list.

Datas by booking
Gender / Nationality / Date of birth by booking
Could we make madatory for a guest who is booking to fill his Gender / Nationality / Date of birth as well ? Right now he only has to fill his last name, email and phone number.
We have an all-female-dorm and some men keep booking it for some reasons. Gender with "Woman / Man / Non binary (or diverse?) at the moment of booking could really help us. As it is mandatory for us to have the nationality of the guest as well as his birth date, those could be…

Group overview
It would be good if when we enter on a certain customer who has a group booking - to see bookings sorted by groups on the dashboard instead of all the rooms that guests booked for all the upcoming dates - when we have groups sorted on the dashboard then we can choose the group and enter to see all the rooms listed.

Availability block+ product rule
When you put in a rate in Availability block the product rule that you have made should for the rate should follow. If I make a Availability block today and put in a rate the product rule for that rate doesn´t follow and I need to make a new product rule for every new block I do.

Refund From the Bill
It is really difficult to refund the correct payment with the current config. I had a guest book about 5 reservations at the same time and then cancel one. To refund, I just had to guess which payment to refund, guessed wrong and had to move the payment. I would love to see the three dots that you use to refund on the payments tab to also be available on the billing tab.

Allow Guest Count Change With Rebate
Some properties find it too restrictive not to be able to modify guest count once a rebate has been created and balanced in their PMS. Bills/invoices being legal documents are understandable - however if a rebate is created to correct bill details or items, the guest count should be considered as well.

Exact overnight stay on Reservation Report
Require solution for Reservation Report based on accurate and exact interval of staying/overnight during the selected period only, for example from 01-01-2024 to 31-01-2024 without including the overnight stay on previous month even the whole booking may overlap.

Demo Top Banner Color
Have you been scared you did a manipulation on production instead of demo? Especially when you started with Mews and everything you looked at was new to your eye? It happened to me a lot, and I thought the blue demo logo maybe isnt big enough... actually if the entire top banner was blue it would be so much easier to identify and remove all doubts about which environment we're working on (for us and for hotels too)!

Split reservations
Split reservations - optional and confirmed
at the moment, only in house reservations can be splitted. When a guest already books a room change, we have either to make two different reservations or block the spaces until the guest is checked in.
