Split reservations
Split reservations - optional and confirmed
at the moment, only in house reservations can be splitted. When a guest already books a room change, we have either to make two different reservations or block the spaces until the guest is checked in.

Group reservations - Change the name of the owner in one click for all rooms
It would be great if it is possible to change the owner of the group reservation in one time/ click of all rooms connected to the group reservation.
At the moment it's only possible to change this per room, instead of all rooms in one.
It would be great if it could be done the same way as that you can change the booker of the reservation.
This would make it a lot easier for us when the contact person of the group reservation changes.2 votes -
Gästeprofilnotizen im Mews-App für Housekeeping anzeigen
Zurzeit sind nur Reservationsnotizen im Mews-App ersichtlich. Dabei fehlen aber die Notizen vom Gast (z.B. wünscht zwei Kissen). Ist es möglich, dass die Gästenotizen mit der Rubrik "Housekeeping" auch auf der Mews-App hinterlegt sind? Somit muss die Rezeption die Notizen nicht jedesmal kopieren.

Group rooming list upload Owner/Main person NOT companion
When we upload a Group rooming list, at the moment even if all rooms are single rooms the uploaded names will land in the system as Companion. In this way we cannot see the names of the guests staying in the rooms when we look at the timeline for example. It will show the names that the group was picked up under and since we don't always have the rooming list by the time we actually pickup the rooms we use for instance the group name and all rooms will show the Group name as such. filter bill
Hello,
When we have a paymaster account and the customer has several bills linked to his account, we change the name of the bill, but they are not placed in alphabetical order, is it possible to do this? and/or have the option to drag and drop the order of them?
When we choose sort by month, it only changes the order in each bill, it would have been nice to have an alternative where we can sort everything on one customer by month, even if it is in different bills. Just need it for a better overview.

Assign spaces to an availability block
We need the OPTION to pre-allocate rooms in an availability block. By the time we receive some rooming lists and pick-up the beds, other guests have already extended in a room and then ruined exclusivity in a section/floor; or if you sell beds in a hostel, the extensions have led to the availability block guests being split up over multiple different rooms.

Change default state of Cancellation Fee box to unselected
When you go to manage a reservation, then Properties, then change the arrival or departure date, the "Apply Cancellation Fee" box appear, AND it is already checked. This is incredibly stupid. First, the box is completely useless since even if you were to use it to apply a cancellation fee, it doesn't add the tax. Second, why would you have it automatically checked, when more than 90% of the time there is no need to charge a cancellation fee, including 99.9% of time when you're changing the departure date. Create a bundled product
As our property mostly sell packaged products we are missing the possibility to package a product with multiple items which then ..
- could be sold as an enhancement to stay
- be billed directly by frontoffice without having team remember all componentsIn addition it would be desireble to set a product for sale specific period or days only.
Example: Would love to sell a Christmas Lunch composed by Food & beverage items for stay 25 December without having to create a separate Stay package.

View only permissions
A user profile with view-only permissions, where the user can access all information related to reservations but cannot edit it.

no-show revenue and cancellation fee revenue should be separated
According to STR guidelines, no-show revenue should be included in room revenue when other cancellation revenue not.
Cancellation fee has different VAT in the Netherlands than no-show (no show is 9% when cancellation fee is 0%).
9% is hard coded in mews and therefore impossible to separate (using automatic posting)

Multiple restrictions in place at the same time
Currently the system has two logic when you want to apply an exception to a restriction: merge with existing exceptions or replace all exceptions but sometimes it is behaving the same way.
For example: I want a rate to be available if people stay 3 nights or 7 nights (not 4, 5 o 6 as this will create availability gaps), the system does not allow you, when you try to put the second exception it replaces the first one. The solution I have been given its to create 2 different rates, but I cannot create a new rate every time…

Weeks on the timeline could start on Sunday instead of Monday
Mews shows our weeks start on a Monday whenever the timeline is called up. For our purposes, it would be great if this could be changed so that the timeline starts on Sunday. Could you please add this option to the timeline? Many thanks!

Rate restriction on min. number of people
We have a specific rate created for group bookings " Special Group Discount". We want this rate to be showing on the booking engine as from f.e. min. 8 people or min. 8 rooms. In the rate restriction we can only add rules for a min. number of nights or min / max pricing. I think a lot of hotels etc could use this feature.

Product checklist Print
Dear Team,
This function work super for a Breakfast List as an overview.
May I recommend:
1) We are able to print this report for our Kitchen Team as well for our Breakfast Team. They unfortunately do not use MEWS.
2) Would there be an option to add the Guests "Customer Notes" there we add under the F&B Notes, if the Guest if allergic to anything for example.Thank you in advanced.

Allow Guest Count Change With Rebate
Some properties find it too restrictive not to be able to modify guest count once a rebate has been created and balanced in their PMS. Bills/invoices being legal documents are understandable - however if a rebate is created to correct bill details or items, the guest count should be considered as well.

Blockings Report Development
Include all types of blocks in the blockings report. E.G. Out of order and house use, as many properties will use house use as its harder to have clear reporting on.

Sequential Group Reservation Number
Currently, Mews offers individual confirmation for all reservations - but if they are within a group, they all fall under 1 group reference number that does not trigger an individual and sequential reference # for the reservations attached.
When duplicating Reservations, for example, it would be helpful if the reservation screen could trigger sequential group reservation numbers that are searchable but can also populate in the reservation report. Even in a simple group reservation setup, this form of referencing could be very useful.

Company Classification & Icon
Is it possible to create a company classification- as is already existing in the guest classification - so as to show which company profile is linked to a voucher ? It would enable the reservation agent to view which profile to link for the corporate rate code to appear when creating a reservation for a corporate guest. It would also enable to distinct company profiles with a corporate agreement in the company search profile.
