  2. When creating a Hourly Service to sell hotel rooms during the day, we would like to have the possibility to add occupancy starting time and ending time to this service.

    To be able to sell room during the day on different time slots, we're first going to set up the Hourly Service. We are then going to create Rate Plans on which we add "Closed to stay" Restrictions on selected hours.
    With this setup I can sell my day rooms on different time slot and at different rates.

    However this configuration does not allow us to set up the Occupancy…

  3. We are trying to set up our group accommodation billing. We would like to be able to send a proforma invoice or invoice, which shows a 25% deposit due to secure the booking.
    At the moment Mews does not offer the possibility to issue an invoice for a percentage of the amount, and i think this would be really useful to develop

  4. If the client has MMMP active, they would like to be able to look up a reservation number and find then the property, as sometimes people call not knowing which hotel they are staying but giving you only the reservation number.

  7. Hello,

    When we have a paymaster account and the customer has several bills linked to his account, we change the name of the bill, but they are not placed in alphabetical order, is it possible to do this? and/or have the option to drag and drop the order of them?

    When we choose sort by month, it only changes the order in each bill, it would have been nice to have an alternative where we can sort everything on one customer by month, even if it is in different bills. Just need it for a better overview.

  9. According to STR guidelines, no-show revenue should be included in room revenue when other cancellation revenue not.

    Cancellation fee has different VAT in the Netherlands than no-show (no show is 9% when cancellation fee is 0%).

    9% is hard coded in mews and therefore impossible to separate (using automatic posting)

  10. Currently the system has two logic when you want to apply an exception to a restriction: merge with existing exceptions or replace all exceptions but sometimes it is behaving the same way.

    For example: I want a rate to be available if people stay 3 nights or 7 nights (not 4, 5 o 6 as this will create availability gaps), the system does not allow you, when you try to put the second exception it replaces the first one. The solution I have been given its to create 2 different rates, but I cannot create a new rate every time…

  11. I would be nice to have a 'select all' open bills button or checkmark where we can more easily manage all items / open bills on company bills that have a large number of open bills due to payment routing.

  12. Restrict some users from being able to delete products within the reservation or billing. Either an approval code from a manager could be entered to allow them to delete it, or the manager themselves who has the permission deletes the product themselves

  14. It would be useful if the "missed check out" status could be represented on the timeline by the reservation changing colour, similar to the "missed departure" status where the reservation changes to orange the day after they were supposed to check out. This could also be shown in the app. Currently the "missed check out" status can only be seen in the Reservations Overview Report.

  15. We are using the automatic export feature to export financial reports. The only choice is CSV, XLS, JSON. We are missing PDF. Our export target is the accountant. For legal reasons, he does not accept anything else than PDF.

  17. Currently, Mews does not allow sending an automated email before the guest's arrival to request a bank pre-authorization as a guarantee. It is currently possible to realize a pre-authorization but only on the amount of the reservation. So I want to realize a pre-authorization for the booking amount and add the deposit amount, for example 500 euros. Can you add this feature please?

  19. Reservations checked in after midnight don’t show as stayovers in the morning. This creates confusion for the housekeeping team as the rooms don’t come up in their Space Sratus report.

    Our Housekeeping team assign dirty rooms to Room Attendants from Mews Space Status report.

    They view three reports:

    Departed or departing
    Stayovers
    Arrived or arriving

    Reservations checked in after midnight come under arrived however the guest booked and stayed last night and should receive stay over service.

  20. Is it possible to have different colours in the application for ”departed”, ”arriving”, ”arrived” and ”stayover”

    For example:
    ”departed” = green
    ”arriving”= orange
    ”arrived” = yellow
    ”stayover” = blue

    Currently, our cleaners easily get confused in a hurry, whether the guest is coming or has left, as all these markings are the same color.
