  7. Customer work with private owners and manages apartment in their name. They would like to give the access to the owners with the overview of their units, revenue and reservations.

  8. If a guest books a specific product such a pet, the task will be automatically created for the HSK team to insert a dog bed in the room.
    If the guest books a champagne/wine on arrival, an automated task will be created for RS to prep the champaign and bring to the room

  9. Possibility to check-in and check-out reservation with unassigned space.

    In case if we have confirmed no-show reservation and we have option to sell more than 100% rooms. There should be possibility to check-in and check-out this reservation. In case if it will be on unassigned space after 7 days the reservation and the charge will disappear.
    It is a big potential to increase revenues.

  10. The "group by" filter in the reservation report does not differentiate between groups with 1 reservation and those with 3+ reservations. Mews assigns a group reference/name to all regardless of the number of reservations in the group.

    For better group management, we need a more comprehensive group reporting for all corporate/business/conference groups at a property which would aid in easier marketing, financial performance, and reservation management.

  11. We often change how a promotional rate is priced, sometimes off BAR, then we might change it to equal AAA, or some other rate from our RMS. Currently if I want to change the base rate being used, I have to delete the entire rate plan and rebuild a new one.

  12. Allow the full user edit screen for admins when editing another user like when your editing your own profile / account.

    We add the users to mews and would include 2FA and profile picture so new users have a fully set up account. Right now these options are not available for admins (we have a specific hardware for 2FA and dont want employees to use their private mobile phones for 2FA for security reasons).

    Also it would be great to have an option to specify what users can change by itself similar to the enforce 2FA. Good behaviour would be…

  13. When we upload a Group rooming list, at the moment even if all rooms are single rooms the uploaded names will land in the system as Companion. In this way we cannot see the names of the guests staying in the rooms when we look at the timeline for example. It will show the names that the group was picked up under and since we don't always have the rooming list by the time we actually pickup the rooms we use for instance the group name and all rooms will show the Group name as such.   14. Ability to manage child rates as a percentage of adult rates, automatically adjusting them in response to changes in adult rates. This enhancement aims to streamline rate management, improve operational efficiency, and maintain consistent pricing strategies.

  15. We currently find the process in Mews Operations of assigning cleaners to rooms very clunky... and possibly the worst feature of Mews. Here are some suggestions for improving this process:

    1. Show employee name or incorporate a drop down menu for assignee selection. Currently you have to type in a few letters of the employee's name and then it shows only an email address, so you can't be sure it's the right employee unless you are a genius and know everyone's email address. Surely this is a simple one to solve?

  17. Split reservations - optional and confirmed

    at the moment, only in house reservations can be splitted. When a guest already books a room change, we have either to make two different reservations or block the spaces until the guest is checked in.

  18. Guests sometimes have multiple orders made via online Booking Engine, which means there is several payments on one bill. It would be good that payments are marked with time stamp and what are they related to (which stay).

  19. Operations are complaining about the lack of housekeeping statuses, especially check in status. Optimal functionality would be "occupied" but maybe it could be solved by using clean status at check in?

    The reason for this is that by keeping the space inspected, front office forget to check in reservations (ghost rooms) and they lose control over how many inspected spaces are available to sell to walk ins. For housekeeping it is the other way around - when check in makes room dirty they re-visit already cleaned rooms, disturbs guest etc.

  20. It is impossible to find a specific invoice if it is owned by a company with over 100 invoices attached. Guest names/references should show by default in the list.
